Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electric hotplate unit with a hotplate body and a lower cover plate, through which an insulating piece for the passage of the electric hotplate connecting leads protrudes, from which the connecting leads protrude stubbornly, and with a positioning part arranged in the edge area of the hotplate adjacent to the insulating piece and fastened to the hotplate which has a number of spaced passages corresponding to the number of connecting lines, from which project connecting lines which are fixed in the positioning part and can be connected to the ends of the connecting lines of the hotplate protruding from the insulating piece.
  • a positioning part is attached to the cover plate with the aid of a support plate. Further wires are butt-welded to the stubs of the connecting leads which protrude from the insulating piece and are clamped in the positioning part. Lead wires are clamped in the positioning part from the other side. This arrangement is not suitable for the automatic assembly of hot plates in openings in a stove surface.
  • hotplate (DE-B-12 70 201), in which connecting rails for the electrical heating resistors are passed through a bushing and end in flat plug-in tabs.
  • the power supply lines can be connected to these plug-in lugs with flat plugs provided at their ends.
  • this is a relatively complex design that is not very suitable for the automatic fitting of hobs with hot plates.
  • a hotplate (DE-A-26 20 004) in which the connecting leads protrude like a stub through an insulating piece, the connecting rails of a temperature limiter being welded onto the short ends.
  • the temperature limiter is part of the hotplate and is connected to it during manufacture. It protrudes laterally beyond the hotplate and is connected on the outside to the supply lines via electrical connection terminals.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an electric hotplate that is particularly suitable for the automatic loading of cookers.
  • the positioning part in the case of an electric hotplate unit of the type mentioned at the outset, can be fastened to the edge of the hotplate body having a catch or the like for aligning the positioning part, in particular it can be plugged onto its lower edge, with the positioning part being in the locked position the connecting line ends are in contact with the associated connecting lines and intersect, preferably to form an approximately right angle.
  • This invention makes it possible for the positioning part to be part of the hob and for it to be positioned opposite the hotplate by the automatic machine that assembles the hob, so that welding can then take place immediately, because of the positioning part and the short ones from the insulating piece protruding ends a precise positioning and fixing takes place.
  • the short ends of the connecting wires are normally always arranged directly above the through openings of the insulating part, so that the positioning of both the connecting lines and the supply lines is always exact.
  • the passages in the positioning part can be holes as well as, in particular, clamping slots into which lead wires can be inserted particularly easily.
  • the detent can be a simple cam or a slot, so that the automaton automatically brings the positioning part into the correct position.
  • the mutual arrangement of the positioning part to the hot plate can be made such that the lead wires of the Position the positioning part with a certain preload on the ends of the connecting wires. This can be achieved, for example, in that the lead wires are given a certain bias. It is also advantageously possible that the spacing of the passages of the positioning part corresponds to the spacing of the connecting lines protruding from the insulating part.
  • the hotplate shown in FIG. 1 essentially consists of a hotplate body 11, on the underside of which heating resistors (not shown) are accommodated in an investment material 12.
  • the middle part 13 of the hotplate remains unheated.
  • the hotplate body 11 is surrounded all around by a cylindrical ring-like edge 14.
  • the hotplate is closed off by a cover plate 15, the circumference of which lies against the investment material 12 and is fastened, preferably screwed, to the center bolt 16 of the hotplate body 11.
  • a connection 17 of an electric hotplate heater is welded to a connection line 18 which extends from the inside between the cover plate 15 and the investment material 12 to the outside through an insulating piece 19.
  • the insulating piece 19 is held in an opening of the cover plate 15, so that the non-insulated connecting line 18 is electrically insulated from the sheet metal parts.
  • the connecting line protrudes only a short distance over the outer end of the insulating piece 19.
  • a positioning part 20 is arranged in the area of the insulating piece 19, through which the connecting lines 21 lead to a power source or to a control device.
  • the connecting lines protrude so far from the inside end 22 of the positioning part 20 that they at least touch the protruding ends of the connecting lines 18.
  • Fig. 1 only one connecting line 18 and one connecting line 21 is shown, although of course there are several such lines in hot plates. At the intersection of the connecting line 18 and the connecting line 21, welding is carried out so that the two lines are firmly connected to one another electrically and mechanically.
  • the positioning part 20 has a notch 23 on its upper side, into which the edge 14 of the hotplate body 11 engages.
  • the dimensions of the notch 23 can be chosen so that the positioning part 20 is thereby secured.
  • edge 14 of the hotplate body 11 may have a notch which engages in a corresponding groove in the positioning part 20, so that the positioning part 20 is in a fixed position.
  • Fig. 2 shows a partial view of the hotplate shown in Fig. 1 from below. It can be seen that the insulating part 19 has an elongated shape with three holes 24 arranged next to one another. A connecting line 18 extends through each hole 24 and, in the present case, extends in a straight line and extends the hole 24.
  • the positioning part 20 has three holes running in the direction of the connecting lines 21, through which the wires are inserted.
  • FIG. 3 shows an embodiment which has been slightly modified compared to FIG. 2.
  • the ends 25 of the connecting lines 18 above the insulating piece 19 are bent slightly to the side, while the corresponding ends 26 of the connecting lines 21 are also somewhat bent.
  • the ends 26 of the connecting lines lie against the ends 25 of the connecting lines 18 from the outside, which takes place under a certain pretension.
  • the end 26 of the central connecting line 21 also bears against the end 25 of the central connecting line 18 with a certain pressure.
  • FIG. 4 shows a partial section similar to FIG. 1 through a hotplate with a hotplate body 11 which is surrounded by an edge 14.
  • the hotplate is particularly flat, so that it is possible to lead the connecting line 18 out of the insulating piece 19 without its lower end protruding over the edge 14 of the hotplate body 11.
  • the lead-through for the connecting line 21 is curved so that the point of intersection between the two lines can also still lie above the underside of the edge 14.
  • Fig. 5 shows another embodiment of a Posi tioning part 27.
  • the positioning part 27 has a total of three slots 28 which are tapered slightly downwards.
  • the connecting lines 21 can be inserted into the slots relatively easily and clamped in these by applying appropriate pressure.
  • the positioning part 29 contains four slots 30, which are bridged by a transverse web 31 on the side of the positioning part 29 facing the insulating part 19.
  • the ends of the insulated connecting lines 32 are connected by means of an end sleeve 33 to connecting wires 34 which protrude from the positioning part 29 on the side facing the insulating part 19 and are welded to the connecting lines 18 of the electric hotplate.
  • the wire end sleeves 33 are connected in a conventional manner to the connecting lines 32, while their right end is welded to the connecting wires 30.
  • the ends of the connecting wires can be crimped flat.
  • the wire end ferrules are preferably made of nickel-plated steel, so that they can be easily welded to the temperature-resistant connecting wire 34. The welding between the connecting wire 34 and the connecting line 18 is also facilitated.
  • the embodiment shown in FIG. 6 has the particular advantage that the insulated connecting lines 32 made of copper lie outside the directly heated area, so that neither the wires nor the insulation is exposed to excessively high temperatures.
  • the arrangement of the wire end sleeves 33 within the slots 30 also ensures that both the connecting lines 32 and the connecting wires 34 are firmly anchored, which is particularly important for the automatic fitting of hob troughs.
  • constrictions 35 are preferably provided which prevent movement to the left, while further movement to the right is prevented by the shape of the slots 30 and the wire end sleeves 33, which are wider than the continuing slot.
  • Fig. 7 shows a section approximately along line VII-VII through the arrangement of Fig. 6. It can be seen that the insulating piece 19 is arranged lowered in the plate plate 15, and the end of the connecting line 18 protruding from the insulating piece is bent to the right . It can be seen that the lower end of the connecting line 18 does not extend beyond the plane of the lower boundary of the hotplate body 11 represented by the line 36, so that the factory-made hotplate can be stacked directly on another hotplate without causing damage the top of the next lower hotplate.
  • the bend of the connecting line 18 has the further advantage that the connection with the connecting wire 34 encloses an angle which is approximately in the region of a right angle. With this type of crossover, cross resistance welding can be carried out with conventional welding guns.
  • the positioning part 29 has a transverse slot 37, the edge of which has two lugs 38, 39.
  • the outer nose 38 engages behind the outer edge of the cover plate 15, while the inner nose 39 engages in a corresponding opening in the cover plate 15. The positioning part 29 is thereby positioned.
  • the connecting lines 32 are insulated up to their connection point with the connecting wires 34, so that contact of the connecting lines 32 with one another outside the positioning part 29 cannot cause any damage, while on the other hand the rigid lines Lead wires 34 on the other side of the positioning part 29 can not touch.
  • a further positioning part 40 is shown schematically in FIG. 8, which has four bushings 41 for the connecting lines 32.
  • the connecting wires are again connected to the connecting lines of the insulating piece 19.
  • the positioning part 40 contains a temperature limit switch 42 which opens a circuit when a certain temperature is exceeded. This embodiment makes it possible that no additional temperature switches have to be installed in the hob installation.
  • Fig. 9 shows a further embodiment of a positioning part 43.
  • the positioning part has no slots, but bores 44 running in the longitudinal direction, which have an enlarged diameter on the side of the positioning part 43 facing away from the hotplate, which is approximately in the middle of the Positioning part 43 reduced.
  • the connecting line 32 is connected to a wire end sleeve 33, the right end of which is welded to the flattened end of the connecting wire 34.
  • the special shape of the bore 44 of the positioning part 43 prevents the connecting line 32 and the connecting wire 34 from shifting to the right.
  • the connecting wire 34 is squeezed in the region of its outlet 45 from the positioning part 43. It can also be seen from FIG.
  • the positioning part 43 has on its upper side a nose 46 which engages in a corresponding opening in the cover plate 15. Otherwise, the positioning part 43 is supported on the lower edge of the cook plate body 11 from.
  • This embodiment has the particular advantage that the positioning part 43 can still be rotated somewhat even when the welding has been carried out, but is nevertheless captively connected to the hotplate.
  • the hotplate proposed by the invention has the further advantage that in the event of a possible failure of the hotplate in an assembled cooker, i. H. in the so-called customer service case, the round wire extension can be separated. Then the newly inserted hotplate can be attached by conventional means, i. H. the ends of the connecting wires 34 protruding from the positioning part can be screwed onto the usual screw connections. This is additionally facilitated in that the distance between the connecting wires 34 corresponds to the distance between the screw terminals of a conventional hotplate.
