Claims (4)

1. Echelle pliante comportant au moins une branche franchissable (1) constituée par deux montants (4) comportant entre eux des échelons (5), branche franchissable (1) à laquelle est articulée, de manière dépliable, une branche d'appui (2) comportant deux montants d'appui (7), moyennant des paires de ciseaux (15) reliant l'un des montants (4) au montant d'appui correspondant (7) et qui sont constitués par deux ciseaux (17) reliés par une articulation à la manière de ciseaux (16), ladite échelle comportant également au moins un moyen d'appui latéral (14) rabattable qui est relié par au moins un bras de guidage (20) à la paire de ciseaux (15), caractérisée en ce que les paires de ciseaux (15) sont articulées au moyen d'axes d'articulation verticaux au montant (4), au montant d'appui (7) et dans l'articulation à la manière de ciseaux (16) et sont déplaçables horizontalement et en ce que deux bras de guidage (20) horizontaux articulés à l'appui latéral (14) moyennant un axe d'articulation commun vertical, s'étendent de manière divergente vers chaque fois un point d'articulation (19) comportant un axe d'articulation vertical et disposé entre les points d'articulation (18) de chaque ciseau (17).
2. Echelle pliante selon la revendication 1 comportant un lien de sécurité reliant la branche franchissable à la branche d'appui à l'état déplié, caractérisé en ce que la ou les paires de ciseaux (15) sont agencées immédiatement en dessous du lien de sécurité (9).
3. Echelle pliante selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que les ciseaux (17) sont articulés au montant (4) et au montant d'appui (7) moyennant un jeu angulaire correspondant au moins à la moitié de l'angle d'ouverture de l'échelle pliante dépliée, dans la direction verticale.
4. Echelle pliante selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que les ciseaux (17) et/ou les bras de guidage (20) sont courbés dans leur plan.
