  • the present invention overcomes these drawbacks, by providing that the cap of the protective helmet is provided externally and on each side, in the zone of convergence of the lateral parts of the transverse bands of the cap, with hooking notches for mooring fixing arms articulated on either side of a respiratory mask and provided with a resettable tensioning system, the free ends of these arms being provided with hooks cooperating respectively with said notches.

  • the user stretches both arms until the hook tab is retained on the arming stopper; an internal cable can limit the stretching of the arms and avoid the separation of the two tubular elements.
  • the user triggers, which allows the arms to retract under the effect of their springs so that the hooks come to cooperate with the corresponding notches. Stop means, provided on the one hand on the outer tube and on the other hand on the tab extending the hook, can then block the mask.

  • the lateral parts of the three transverse flexible bands (9,10,11) end on each side with three self-locking loops (respectively: 15,16,17 ), individually fixed inside the cap (1).
  • the three loops (15,16,17) are arranged in an arc of a circle, so that the directions of the three bands (9,10,11) in the lateral parts converge at the same point (18), located slightly in front of the ear, the region of which remains clear, which allows the headphones to be fitted with headphones. All this arrangement and in particular the position of the two points (18) is obviously symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal median plane of the helmet.

  • each of the fixing arms (25) comprises two tubular elements (28,29), one of which is slidably mounted inside the other where a telescopic structure.
  • the outer tubular element (28) is located in front and articulated, along an axis (30), on the part (26) while on the inner tubular element (29), located behind, is articulated a hook (31 ), pivoting around an axis (32).
  • the two axes (30,32) are interconnected by a helical spring (33), housed inside the two tubular elements (28,29) and tending to make these two elements penetrate one into the other.
  • An internal cable (34) also connects the two axes (30,32), passing through the spring (33), so as to limit the exit of the element (29) from the element (28), therefore the arm stretch (25).
