Abstract

A sash is mounted in a first position in a fixed frame and is movable laterally into a second position where it is parallel to the first position. A plurality of swing arms connect the sash to a movable carriage so that in the second position the sash can be moved along a linear path between a closed position and open position relative to the first position of the sash in the fixed frame. At least one of the swing arms has a control arm pivotally attached to it. The control arm has a locking member engageable within and movable along a slot in the carriage. The locking member can be secured within a section of the slot angularly offset from the main section of the slot when the sash is in the second position. With the locking member secured in the angularly offset section, the sash is retained in the second position. A lug secured to the fixed frame is located in the path of the carriage as the sash moves along the linear path toward the closed position. A stop formed on the lug is contacted by the locking member when the sash moves toward the closed position so that the locking member is automatically disengaged from the offset slot section and the control arm and the swing arm can be pivoted relative to one another. The stop is part of a second slot and with the sash in the first position, the second slot holds the locking member so that the sash is retained in the fixed frame.

Description

The invention relates to a fitting for a sash of a window, a door or the like, which can be displaced in this position at least in parallel and horizontally displaceable in this position, the lower arm or arms on the lower cross member on the one hand and on one or each of a carriage on the other is or are rotatably mounted, with a releasable locking device for the lower raising arm or raising arms located in the parallel storage position, which consists of a locking element cooperating with a latching receptacle, the locking device being moved by the closing sliding movement of the sash relative to the fixed frame by means of a oblique stationary stop can be triggered. Such a fitting is described in EP-A-0 090 956 (prior art under Article 54 (3) EPC). The snap-in receptacle is attached to the extension arm and therefore the locking element is located on the carriage. Because the latter interacts with a fixed stop in the final sliding movement, the disengaging movement must run in the opposite direction. This and the type of locking device require a corresponding construction effort. In addition, there are no particularly favorable lever ratios in the area of the raising arm and locking device. Even a relatively low wind pressure leads to a noticeable strain on the snap-in mount.

The object of the invention is to develop a fitting of the type described in the introduction such that a compact design and a particularly stiff and stable support can be achieved in the area of the lower wing corner or corners, the secure parallel parking position being guaranteed.

To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention that a fitting for a sash of a window, a door or the like which can be at least set in parallel by means of extension arms and horizontally displaceable in this position. is formed according to the features of claim 1. With this fitting, at least one of the lower extension arms can be secured in a simple and inexpensive manner in a simple and inexpensive manner in the rotational position assumed in the case of the wing placed in parallel with respect to the wing and in a fixed frame. If one of the lower extension arms is held in the manner mentioned by means of a releasable locking device, in particular the lower closing arm on the closing side, this is sufficient to secure the entire leaf due to the rigidity of the wing. It is irrelevant whether the sash comes into the secured parallel storage position by means of a forced control of the fitting or by simply pulling it out, possibly via an upstream tilting position. This fitting is expediently used in a sash which is brought into the parallel storage position via a tilting position and which can only be moved in the latter, for example, as seen from the interior of the room, in front of a fixed field.

The latter can be a further wing, which either cannot be opened or can be designed as a rotating wing or as a rotating and tilting wing. It is also easily conceivable that the second wing can also be pushed. The parallel parking position is secured in a different way than in the prior art mentioned at the outset, but at least as effectively and safely as there.

The control arm, which forms a Y-shaped stay scissors with the stay arm, enables a particularly rigid and stable support of the wing corner assigned to it. The locking member and the locking receptacle are such that the first in the latter when parking the assigned wing corner of a fixed frame or the like. occurs as automatically as possible, but remains in the blocking position when force is applied in the opposite direction, that is to say in the return direction of the wing or the wing end in question. Disengagement from the snap-in receptacle takes place only by a special action on the locking member, which then enables the control arm and extension arm to be pivoted relative to one another. With the wing closed, the extension arm and the control arm advantageously lie at least approximately one above the other.

A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that when the locking member strikes the stationary stop, an edge of the control arm simultaneously hits an upper edge of a bracket having the stop. This prevents the control pin from bending when the wing is pushed shut hard.

Another preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the second slot arm extends at an angle of less than 90 ° to the first slot arm and points approximately in the shutdown direction of the wing, the second slot arm being located at the rear end of the wing in the sliding closing direction first slot arm and the locking member is designed as a bolt. Due to the slight inclination of the second slot arm, for example at an angle of the order of approx. 60 ° to the first slot arm, the bolt is pressed against the inclined slot wall of the second slot arm when a compressive force acts on the wing in the closing direction, which acts as a stop acts and does not allow pivoting of the control arm against the wing plane. Otherwise, the control arm is shorter than the extension arm and the end of the control arm on the extension arm side is articulated in the central region of the control arm to form the aforementioned Y-shaped stay scissors. Since the sash is usually parked parallel to the interior of the room, a movement “in the direction of sash rest” is directed into the interior of the room.

A further advantageous embodiment of the fitting is characterized in that the stationary stop is formed by the longer edge of a release slot, which is located in the movement area of the locking member and extends transversely to the sliding direction and has edges of different lengths, for example open in the parallel storage direction. If you move the wing in parallel in the closing direction, the locking member of the control arm hits this longer edge of the release slot, which acts as a fixed stop, as soon as the wing or the like opposite the opening in the frame. is aligned. Because this slot is slightly inclined to the plane of the wing, in opposite directions to the second slot arm of the control slot, this slightly oblique stop edge causes the locking member to be displaced in the direction of the wing. As a result, the locking member is released from the second slot arm of the control slot and reaches the first slot arm. Because the latter moves in the direction of displacement, i.e. extends in the longitudinal direction of the upper and lower wing spar, the control slot can be moved relative to the now stationary locking member. This is done by moving the carriage or carriages against the closing direction under the wing relative to the latter. When the locking member emerges from the second slot arm of the control slot, the control arm and extension arm collapse into the plane of the wing. At the same time, the wing end in question then enters the opening of the fixed frame, i.e. H. the sash is brought from its parallel storage position into a closed position if necessary via an intermediate tilting position. It then only has to be locked against the fixed frame.

Accordingly, this positive control for triggering the locking device also forms an auxiliary device for the safe and problem-free return of the wing or wing end. It is not possible for the leaf to spring back when it is transferred to the closed position and no special operation or special attention is required to bring about a trouble-free transfer of the leaf placed in parallel into the tilting and / or closed position. On the other hand, this device is particularly simple, consisting of a few parts, and it still works absolutely reliably.

A further variant of the invention provides that the locking member passes through the control slot from above and its end projecting below interacts with the longer edge of the release slot. In the case of an arrangement at the lower end of the wing on the closing side, the locking member thus projects through the control slot, which is open at the top and bottom, and protrudes downward.

A further development of the invention provides that the control slot or the like on a spike-like attachment at the closing end of the carriage or the closing carriage. is located, which extends in the extension of the carriage. In this way, a particularly compact design is achieved and, in particular, the projecting of the entire device into the interior of the room over the region of the running rail or the lower frame spar or the like is avoided. out.

Another embodiment of the invention provides that the release slot is located on the frame associated with the lower corner of the fixed frame on the closing side and that it is open at the top and in the parallel parking direction. This makes it possible to move into the release slot with the free end of the locking member which projects from top to bottom.

The trestle has, in a very expedient manner, a receptacle open in the sliding opening direction for the spike-like attachment of the carriage. When closing the parallel wing, the spike-like approach of the carriage first enters the trestle, and when the relevant, e.g. lower wing end swings back into the tilt position and the relative displacement of the carriage or carriages relative to the wing in the opening direction, the spike-like approach then occurs slowly out of the recording. In the closed position, possibly also in the tilted position of the wing, the spike-like extension is then outside of this receptacle.

Another advantageous embodiment of the invention is that between the control arm and its extension arm a spreading spring or the like loading the control arm in the direction of its latching movement into the second slot arm of the control slot. Device is switched. It causes the control arm to be pivoted during the parallel parking or when the wing end in question is raised, in such a way that the locking member enters the second slot arm as soon as it has arrived there after being displaced along the first slot arm.

Another expedient embodiment of the invention is characterized by a locking lug on the wing-side end of the extension arm connected to the control arm, which engages behind a spring-loaded, fixed bolt when the sash is closed, the bolt and the locking lug forming a securing device for the lower wing end in the closed position. It is assumed here that the sash is first transferred from the closed position to a tilt position. The safety device now has the task of securing the lower, not yet opened wing end against unintentional and undesired opening, ie against the transfer of the wing into the parallel storage position. With a jerk determined by the force of the load spring, you can remove the lower wing end from the fixed frame and thereby bring the wing into the parallel storage position. When swiveling back into the tilt position, this safety device automatically engages again. The latch and its loading springs are located in a very practical manner in a lateral extension of the trestle projecting into the interior of the frame, the extension being at least partially located above the level of the release slot. The altitude depends on the shape and arrangement of the extension arm relative to the carriage or the like. The bar can, if its shape so requires, optionally be guided in the longitudinal direction. A helical compression spring is preferred as the spring.

Another advantageous embodiment of the invention consists in that the fitting parts on the underside of the wing are covered by a cover that extends over the entire width of the wing, in particular an aluminum profile. This can at least partially cover the extension arm (s) located there, so that everything is well protected from the outside and is not or at least barely visible, which is an important requirement for windows and doors in particular for aesthetic reasons.

The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. The following represent:
  • 1 is a window or a door equipped with two sashes, the left sash being equipped with the fitting according to the invention,
  • 2 is a vertical section along the line 11-11 of FIG. 1,
  • 3 shows a horizontal section through the left half of FIG. 1, with the wing placed parallel, on an enlarged scale,
  • 4 on a larger scale, a side view of a carriage and the fitting according to the invention, partly in section,
  • Fig. 5 is a plan view of Fig. 4, the position of the extension arm and control arm are shown in addition with dash-dotted lines with parallel wing.

In a fixed frame 1 there is a wing 2 which can be permanently installed or can be opened in a known manner, for example rotatable and tiltable and / or displaceable. Another wing 3 is tiltable and parallel adjustable and it can be moved in the parallel position in the direction of the double arrow 4, being, seen from the interior of the room, brought in front of the wing 2 when moving. The wing 3 is connected to the fixed frame 1 via extension arms, preferably four extension arms are provided, namely two upper extension arms 5 and 6 and two lower extension arms 7 and 8. The latter are each mounted on a carriage 9 and 10, in particular the 4 and 5 clearly show. The carriages are 45 or the like via a tie rod. firmly coupled together. They each have two rollers 11 and 12 and are guided on a running rail 13. This is struck on the inward-facing side of the lower horizontal spar 14 of the fixed frame. The carriage-side pivot bearings of the extension arms 7 and 8 are denoted by 15 and 16 and the wing-side by 17 and 18.

A control arm 19 is rotatably articulated on at least one of the extension arms, in the exemplary embodiment on the lower closing arm 7 on the closing side. The pivot bearing is designated 20. The free end of this control arm carries a locking member 21 which is designed as a bolt and passes through a control slot 22 from top to bottom, its free end projecting downward. The control slot 22 has an angular shape and it is located on a spike-like extension 23 at the closing end of the closing carriage 9, its free end pointing towards the closing vertical bar 24 of the fixed frame 1. A first slot arm 25 of the angular control slot 22 extends in the sliding direction 4 of the wing 3, while a second slot arm 26 thus forms an angle of less than 90 °, for example of approximately 60 °. The one or free end of the second slotted arm 26 forms a snap-in receptacle 27 for the locking member 21. It engages in the parallel storage position of the wing (FIG. 3). This is a releasable locking device 28 for the wing placed in parallel. Due to the inclined position of the second slotted arm 26 relative to the first slotted arm 25 or the wing plane, a type of locking lug 29 is created which prevents the locking member 21 from entering the first slotted arm 25 when a force, for example in the direction of arrow 30, acts on the wing 3 . This means that the Y-shaped stay scissors formed from the lower stay arm 7 and the control arm 19 cannot buckle. As a result, it is also not possible for the other extension arms to pivot back into their starting position, so that the wing placed in parallel is held securely in its parallel position with the aid of this locking device 28.

In the range of motion of the locking member 21, which is in its sliding-closing movement, a stationary stop 31 is arranged, which is formed by the one or longer edge of a release slot 32 which extends transversely to the sliding direction 4 and is approximately open at the edge in the parallel parking direction. It is located on a bracket 33 which is attached to the fixed frame 1, in particular at the lower corner on the closing side. The upper edge of the bracket 33 in the region of the release slot 32 is designed such that the edge of the control arm 19 comes to rest there at the same time when the lower edge of the locking bolt 21 abuts against the longer edge 31 of the release slot 32. This prevents the control bolt 21 from bending when the wing is pushed shut hard. The other, to a certain extent upstream edge of the release slot open to the edge is shorter by approximately the diameter of the locking member 21 in order to enable the latter to run in. Even the edge-open release slot does not run exactly perpendicular to the plane of the wing or fixed frame, but rather slightly inclined to it, in the opposite direction to the second slot arm 26 of the control slot 22, as FIG. 5 of the drawing clearly shows. From the latter it follows that the locking member 21 on this Fixed stop 31 runs up when it is in the free end of the second slot arm 26, that is, the locking receptacle 27 of the control slot 22.

Due to the inclined positions of the fixed stop 31 and the second slotted arm 26, the sliding-closing movement of the wing placed in parallel causes the locking member 21 to emerge from the second slitting arm 26 and at the same time to enter the release slot 32 of the trestle 33 which is open at the edge. This transverse movement of the locking member 21 is approximately vertical to the sash or frame level triggers the locking device 28 and enables the relative pivoting of the lower extension arm 7 and the control arm 19, starting from the position shown with dash-dotted lines in Fig. 5 in the end position, which is drawn in the same figure with solid lines . When the latter is reached, the pivoting back of the lower wing end against the fixed frame 1 is finished. The wing is now in a tilted position from which it can be tilted back into the closed position by hand or by means of a suitable fitting, as can be seen in FIG. 2.

When the locking member 21 enters the end of the first locking arm 25 facing the second locking arm 26, which, as said, is associated with the entry of the locking member 21 into the open-edge trigger slot 32, the relative displacement of the first locking arm 25 relative to the locking member 21 in the direction of the arrow 34 possible, which leads to the folding of the Y-shaped stay scissors. This displacement of the first slotted arm 25 also means a displacement of the mandrel-like extension 23 or the carriages 11 and 12 in the direction of the arrow 34 with respect to the wing 2. It can be seen from FIG. 5 that in the end position, i.e. when the sash is closed, or at least when the sash is tilted, displacement of the latter in the direction of arrow 34 is not possible because this is prevented by the interaction of the shorter slot edge of the release slot 32 open at the edge and the locking member 21. The triggerable locking device therefore has a second locking function.

Verwendung. The trestle 33 has a receptacle 35, which is open in the sliding opening direction 34, for the mandrel-like extension 23 of the carriage 9. As shown in FIG. 5 with dash-dotted lines, the mandrel-like extension 23 of the carriage 9 enters this receptacle at the beginning of the sliding-closing movement and it only leaves them when the lower wing end is folded back against the fixed frame 1. In the tilted position or in the closed position of the wing, the spike-like extension 23 has completely emerged from this receptacle 35, as is clearly shown in FIG. 4 of the drawing. 5 that a spreader spring 36 loading the control arm in the direction of its latching movement in the second slot arm 26 of the control slot 22 is connected between the control arm 19 and its extension arm 7. A leg spring or the like expediently finds. Use.

At the wing-side end 38 of the extension arm 7 rotatably connected to the control arm 19 there is a locking projection 37 which interacts with a fixed bolt 39. The bolt 39 is formed by the wedge-shaped or conical free end of a pin 41, which is guided in the longitudinal direction and is spring-loaded in the extension direction by a loading spring 40, preferably a helical compression spring. The corresponding hole is located in an extension 42 of the bracket 33, which points into the interior of the room. The bolt 39 and the locking projection 37 form a securing device 43 for the lower wing end, which is in the closed position. The extension 42 lies at least partially above the level of the release slot 32, while the latter is overlapped by the spike-like extension 23.

The fitting parts on the underside of the wing 3 are covered by a cover 44, in particular an aluminum profile, which extends over the entire width of the wing, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. From the interior of the room, at least most of the lower extension arms 7 and 8 cannot be seen, and the blocking device 28 and the securing device 43 are also covered. In addition to an aesthetic function, this cover also has a security function by preventing manipulation by unauthorized persons and also protects it from dirt.
