Abstract

Die bisher bei Großmotoren verwendeten Einrichtun­ gen (Schutzhüllen, separate Rohrleitungen) zur funkenfrei­ en Ableitung der Verbrennungsgase über Sicherheitsven­ tile bei überhöhtem Zünddruck werden dadurch vermieden, daß die abgesteuerten Verbrennungsgase über eine Boh­ rung im Zylinderkopf direkt dem Auslaßkanal zugeführt wer­ den. Die hierfür verwendeten Sicherheitsventile sind derart aufgebaut, daß der Druck der Abgase nicht zu einem Öffnen des Sicherheitsventils führen kann, so daß keine Gefahr besteht, daß das Sicherheitsventil unbeabsichtigt öffnet. Dies wird entweder durch ein separates Verschluß­ glied für die zum Auslaßkanal führende Bohrung oder durch konische Verschlußglieder erreicht, deren Mantelflächen die zum Abgaskanal führenden Bohrungen verschließen.
