Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Abgasrückführventil (1) mit einem Flanschmodul (2), der die Anschlußverbindung zwischen dem Auslaß und dem Einlaß eines Verbrennungsmotors darstellt. Der Flanschmodul (2) ist so ausgebildet, daß ein direkter Anschluß an den Zylinderkopf des Verbrennungsmotors erfolgen kann. Im Flanschmodul (2) wird das zum Abgasrückführventil (1) strömende Abgas vom Kühlkreislauf des Verbrennungsmotors gekühlt. Zu diesem Zweck sind in dem Flanschmodul (2) Kühlkanäle mit einer Einlaßöffnung (4) und einer Auslaßöffnung (5) ausgebildet. Das Abgas wird dem Flanschmodul über eine Abgaseinlaßöffnung (6) zugeführt, die sich an einem Anschlußflansch (3) befindet.
