Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abgaswärmetauscher in einer Abgasrückführungsanordnung für Brennkraftmaschinen mit einer Abgassammelleiste und einer Abgasrückführleitung und mit einem Ein-und Ausströmkanäle und ein Stellglied aufweisenden Abgasventil, beispielsweise an einer Seite des Abgaswärmetauschers befestigt oder mit dem Abgaswärmetauscher eine Baueinheit bildend oder nur in räumlicher Nähe zum Abgaswärmetauscher angeordnet, wobei das Abgasventil einen Teil des Abgasstromes entweder durch den Abgaswärmetauscher in die Abgasrückführleitung oder direkt in die Abgasrückführleitung zum Saugrohr der Brennkraftmaschine leitet und die Abgassammelleiste Abzweige an die Zylinderköpfe der Brennkraftmaschine und einen Austritt, beispielsweise zum Abgasturbolader, aufweist. Um die Wirksamkeit des Abgaswärmetauschers in der Abgasrückführungsanordnung zu verbesseren, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, daß der Abgaswärmetauscher (1) an zwei Anschlüsse (15, 17) aufweisende Öffnungen (13, 14) in der Abgassammelleiste (2) angeschlossen ist, wobei zwischen der einen Öffnung (13) und der einen Seite des Abgaswärmetauschers (1) das Abgasventil (4) angeordnet ist und wobei die andere Seite des Abgaswärmetauschers (1) mit der anderen Öffnung (14) in Verbindung ist und mindestens eine der Öffnungen (13 oder 14) im Staudruckbereich (SB) der Abgase vor deren Austritt (12), in Strömungsrichtung der Abgase gesehen, angeordnet ist.
