Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for adjusting the angular position of a pivotable support surface, in particular the support surface for the head end of the mattress in a bed frame.
  • Bed frames of this type are used in particular in hospitals and for nursing care, but also in private households, but are very expensive, since the adjustable head and / or foot section is integrated in the special construction of the bed frame. People in need of care should in particular be able to operate the adjustable head part themselves in order to be able to position themselves for eating or reading etc. without outside help, which is why a motorized drive for the adjustable part is necessary.
  • DE-A-2 447 739 describes a sprung additional seat which makes it easier for the disabled to get up from a seat.
  • a pivotable support surface which has two frames pivotally connected to one another by means of an axis of rotation, one of which is intended to lie horizontally on a support and the other which forms a support surface with respect to the horizontal in a variable angular position, which under the Effect of at least one spring arranged in the region of the axis of rotation between the two frames.
  • the object underlying the present invention was to provide a device for raising a part of the lying surface, in particular the head part, which can be used in any normal bed frame, which is provided with a motor drive and is easy to transport to more than one bed frame to be able to use one after the other, and in particular is considerably cheaper than the conventional devices of this type.
  • the space below this support surface for the mattress for accommodating the drive and the adjustment device cannot be used because of the large number of designs of the support for the mattress in the form of a slatted frame or spring frame.
  • the problem here is therefore to accommodate all the elements necessary for swiveling a support surface up and down, including the drive, in the smallest space, because when not in use, the support surface swiveled downwards of the devices inserted under the mattresses should not impair lying comfort or not be noticeably noticeable make, why the device should be extremely flat.
  • the object is that two frames pivotally connected to one another by means of an axis of rotation on a wheel, one of which is intended to lie horizontally on a support and the other forms the support surface which can be adjusted in a variable angular position with respect to the horizontal, under the effect of at least one arranged in the region of the rotary axis, between the two frames effective prestressed torsion spring bar and at least one gas spring supported between the two frames are pressed apart in the sense of an angle enlargement and that both frames are connected to one another by flexible traction means, by means of which the frames for the purpose of continuously changing the angle with the aid of an the drive means arranged on a frame and acting on the traction means can be pulled against one another against the action of the torsion spring bar and gas spring or can be pivoted apart under the action of the latter.
  • Two torsion spring bars which are arranged parallel to the axis of rotation and to one another, are each held in place with one end on opposite sides of the one frame and pressed at one angled other end against rolling elements arranged on opposite sides of the other frame.
  • two gas springs are expediently articulated with their one end on opposite sides of the one frame and with their other end on opposite sides of the other frame.
  • a torsion spring bar and a gas spring act together on opposite sides and cause the frame forming the pivotable support surface to be pushed up.
  • a torsion spring bar and a gas spring are each arranged on the same frame side in such a way that as the angle between the two frames increases, the spring force of the pretensioned torsion spring bar decreases as the torque exerted by the gas spring on the frame in the sense of increasing the angle increases.
  • the torsion spring rod which is expediently preloaded during installation with a rotation angle of 50 °, is tensioned by a further approx. This strong spring force then decreases when the frame is swung open, if at the same time the same Directional gas spring with an increasing effective lever arm exerts an increasing moment on the frame.
  • a steel cable to each of the frames on opposite sides as a flexible traction means, which two steel cables are guided over deflection pulleys arranged on the other frame and are attached with their other ends parallel to one another on a pivot lever mounted in the other frame, which can be pivoted by an electric lifting motor arranged in the other frame with a threaded spindle articulated on the pivoting lever.
  • the device has a specific frame 1 to be placed on a horizontal base, in particular a bed frame (not shown in the drawing), on one edge of which a further frame 3 of substantially the same size is pivotally attached by means of an axis of rotation 2.
  • a cladding surface 4 or 5 is fastened on the outside, so that the device is externally comparable to a very flat case.
  • the frame 3 with the surface 5 forms the support surface against which the head-side end region of a mattress (not shown in the drawing) is supported, and which support surface should be set in any angular position relative to the horizontal frame 1, which should be possible by actuating a motor.
  • two torsion spring bars 6 and 7 extend in the lower frame 1 almost over the entire width of the frame 1 and can be passed through two bearing blocks 8 and 9.
  • the front torsion spring bar 6 in the drawing is angled by 90 ° behind the bearing block 8 and its straight end is held in the bearing block 9 in a rotationally fixed manner, so that the entire length of the torsion spring bar can twist relative to this end held in place.
  • the torsion spring rod 7 behind it is angled by 90 ° in the drawing in front of the bearing block 9 and its free end is held in the bearing block 8 in a rotationally fixed manner.
  • the angled ends of the two torsion spring bars 6 and 7 are each pressed against a roller 10 and 11, which are mounted on the inside on opposite sides of the frame 3.
  • the angled ends of the two torsion bars move relative to the rollers.
  • the two torsion spring bars 6 and 7 are installed with a pre-tension corresponding to a swivel angle of 50 °.
  • the two torsion spring bars act in the sense of increasing the angle between the two frames, wherein they exert the greatest spring force when the two frames 1 and 3 lie parallel one above the other.
  • two gas springs 12 and 13 are attached to opposite sides of the two frames with one end on frame 1 and the other end on frame 3.
  • Each gas spring also works with a pressure of approx. 40 kg in the sense of increasing the angle between the two frames 1 and 3. If the two frames 1 and 3 lie one above the other in parallel, the gas spring can only act on the frame with a very short effective lever arm 3 act. If, starting from the position with frames 1 and 3 lying one above the other in parallel, the spring force of the two torsion spring bars 6 and 7 decreases with increasing angle between the frames, the moment exerted by the two gas springs becomes increasingly larger due to the increasing effective lever arm, so that between the two Frame a little fluctuating force in the sense of increasing the angle between the frame is effective.
  • This force of the springs is counteracted by a cable pull, through which the two frames 1 and 3 are pulled against each other.
  • a first steel cable 14 is attached at one end to the frame 3 and guided over a deflection roller 15 which is rotatably mounted on the frame 1 at the level of the gas spring 12 and then via a further deflection roller 16 which is mounted in the corner of the frame 1 and finally via one on the longitudinal side of the frame arranged deflection roller 12 out.
  • the other end of this steel cable 14 is attached to a tensioning device 18, which is attached to a pivot lever 19.
  • This pivot lever 19 is pivotally mounted on the frame 1 by means of a pivot pin 20.
  • a second steel cable 21 is fastened at one end on the opposite side of the frame 3, guided over a deflection roller 22 mounted in the frame 1 at the level of the gas spring 13, then via a further deflection roller 23 arranged in the frame corner of the frame 1 and finally via a pulley 24 arranged on the longitudinal side of the frame, which is loaded on the same axis as the pulley 17 for the other steel cable 14. device.
  • the end of the steel cable 21 is fastened to a tensioning device which, like the tensioning device 18, is also attached to the swivel lever 19 is attached.
  • a tensioning device which, like the tensioning device 18, is also attached to the swivel lever 19 is attached.
  • the tensioning devices 18 and 25 are shown attached to one another on the pivot lever 19 for clarification, but in reality these fastening ends lie one above the other on the pivot lever, since the steel cables would otherwise be pulled unevenly.
  • the pivot lever 19 is pivoted with the aid of a lifting motor 26 in the direction of the arrow 27, the frame 3 against the action of the two torsion spring bars 6 and 7 and the two gas springs 12 and 13 against the lower frame 1 by pulling the two steel cables 14 and 21 is pulled.
  • the two frames 1 and 3 lie one above the other in parallel. From this end position, the frame 3 can be brought into any desired angular position with respect to the frame 1 by actuating the motor 26 in the opposite direction.
  • the lifting motor 26 is pivotally mounted in the frame 1 by means of a pivot pin 28 so that the motor can carry out the lateral movement caused by the movement of the connection point between the motor and the pivot lever 19 on a circular arc.
  • a motor which is somewhat too weak in relation to the required force and is therefore supported by a gas spring 29. which is connected in parallel to the motor 26 with one end likewise pivoted on the pivot lever 19 and with the other end on the frame 1 and exerts a force in the direction of movement on the pivot lever, which leads to a reduction in the angle between the frames.
  • the lifting motor 26 is connected to the mains via a cable 30.
  • the direction of movement of the lifting motor can be reversed by actuating a switch 31.
