Definitions

  • the invention relates to a support unit for supporting shaped ceramic parts to be dried, in particular bricks, with load-bearing profiles and a number of supporting plates which interspers periodically and successively and under different areas of bricks placed under different heights.
  • Such support units such as. B.
  • the adaptation of the support plates to different levels of a brick to be supported allows drying in a substantially stress-free manner, but it is necessary to make a different arrangement for each brick type.
  • This requirement is alleviated by the fact that it is possible to provide support surfaces in a changeable manner or to arrange them in such a way that they enable stress-free support of more than one brick shape.
  • the convertibility generally requires both an undesirably increased production outlay and also an unpleasantly high level of care during the changeover, as well as additional work steps to be carried out, so that the usual use is limited to bricks which are only to be produced in small numbers.
  • An arrangement of support plates which is suitable to accommodate different brick shapes, is in most cases quite complex and can only be used for a few bricks suitable for such a support, the support often not being able to be distributed as finely as with only one Brick-shaped support plates so that there is an increased risk of warping.
  • the invention is based on the object of creating supporting units and, if appropriate, also brick frames which, with extensive adaptation to the contact surfaces of bricks, permit the optional drying of one of two or more different brick shapes.
  • the supporting profiles are parts of a closed frame in an arrangement designed according to the type specified, and in that a substantially continuous base plate is provided at a partial height of the frame, which is adapted to a first brick shape on one side and on has its second, opposite side for another, provided from the first different brick shape support plates.
  • a substantially continuous base plate is provided at a partial height of the frame, which is adapted to a first brick shape on one side and on has its second, opposite side for another, provided from the first different brick shape support plates.
  • the effort to be driven is somewhat higher than that for simple, as usual, supporting units; the omission of additional support units for different brick shapes, however, has an extremely favorable effect both in terms of the procurement effort to be carried out and the storage of the required support units, and handling is also facilitated, in particular if support plates for causal use are on opposite sides of a support frame Bricks are provided.
  • the production is simplified and reduced in cost if at least two of the frame profiles are edge strips of the base plate that are folded several times. It is advantageous to fold the longitudinal profiles of the frame from edge strips of the base plate, while the longitudinal profiles thus formed are closed at both ends by welded-in transverse profiles. It was recognized as worth copying that the base plate should preferably be bent at right angles on two opposite sides and the edge strips bent in this way should each be bent into a profile, preferably a C-profile, delimited by flanges at the top and bottom. On the other hand, other profile shapes approximating a box profile can also be selected, for example U-profiles, Z-profiles or the like.
  • the handling of the support unit and in particular its stacking are facilitated if the flanges of the frame profiles are arranged at a greater distance from the base plate at least on one side, but better on both sides, than the highest areas of the support plates arranged on the relevant side.
  • the frame, the base plate and / or the support plates can be made of light metal, but preferably of steel plate, wherein an oxidation protection, for example as an applied zinc layer, is expediently provided.
  • the drying process is intensified if at least the areas of the base and the support plates that support and / or oppose these at short intervals are perforated. Parts of the brick that are more outstanding can be used without increasing the profile height of the frame if the base plate and / or the support plates have recesses for receiving brick areas that project further downward.
  • FIG. 1 a support unit for roof tiles to be dried is shown, the essential base area of which is shown in FIG. 1 consists of a base plate 1. Edge strips of this base plate are first folded vertically and then bent further several times in the form of a C-profile, so that on both sides of the base plate 1 bent longitudinal profiles 2 are formed which give the supporting unit the required stability.
  • the frame formed by the profiles is terminated at both ends by transverse profiles 3, which are inserted between the end regions of the longitudinal profiles 2.
  • the transverse profiles 3 have tongues 4 projecting in the region of their web, the end sections 5 of which are bent and dotted with the ends of the webs 6 of the longitudinal profiles 2 that they support.
  • Different supporting plates are now applied to the base plate 2, which are adapted to the surface areas to be supported of one or more brick shapes to be applied. Support plates are also applied to the underside of the base plate 1 in such a way that regions of one or more brick shapes can also be supported here.
  • a step plate 7 is punctured on the top of the base plate for each brick to be applied, which has a section 8 of lower levels at its end shown at the bottom left in FIG. 1, and which shows an attachment 9 at the bottom right, which without, however, completely Returning the base plate also results in a support surface at a lower level.
  • Another area of a tile to be received is supported by the trapezoidal sheet 10.
  • the support unit shown is intended for the application of several bricks, so that the stepped plate 7 and the trapezoidal plate 10 are provided repeatedly and periodically in the longitudinal direction.
  • the shape of the brick to be applied after the support unit has been rotated through 180 ° is relatively simple and only requires a single support plate 11 which has three steps and which, for the same reason as the application of a plurality of bricks, is also repeated periodically in the longitudinal direction of the support unit.
  • the application of these support plates proves to be relatively simple; its base and intermediate support surfaces are provided in one plane; during production they are applied to the base plate 1 and spotted with it. Not only do they form support plates for supporting bricks to be applied at different levels, they also form cross ribbing and thus stiffen the base plate 1.
  • the base plate 1 and the support plates 7 to 11 are each perforated in the areas which support surfaces to be applied or which are very close to the brick surface, as indicated by the perforated area 12 of the base plate. This speeds up the drying process, and the drying process is intensified by air passing through, even with brick surfaces at a distance.
  • closed frame profiles such as the C profiles used in the exemplary embodiment. They offer profile flanges in both directions of use, which can serve as standing areas, but can also be guided over runways.
  • the fact that these flanges are further away from the plane of the base plate than the most protruding support plates on the same side is important, so that when the flanges are placed on a Level or strips or on a runway, the support plates always stand back behind the flange levels and are therefore unable to form any obstacles.
  • the support plates of the exemplary embodiment are only to be regarded as an example in the broadest sense: such support plates are always adapted to the shape of the type of brick to be dried, and with the variety of commercially available brick shapes, there is a corresponding large number of suitable arrangement and design of the support plates. It is also possible here to adapt the support plates not only to the shape of a brick type, but to the contours of, for example, two brick types, so that the corresponding one side of the supporting unit can be used for two different brick types without changes or special precautions. The same can be carried out for more than two types of brick if there are correspondingly used brick shapes, and it is also possible to provide support plates on the rear so that they can be used for more than one type of brick.
  • connections of the profiles 2 and 3 and that of the support plates 7 to 11 to the base plate 1 are effected by welding points, which are shown in the drawings as black points.
  • welding points which are shown in the drawings as black points.
  • rivet, hollow rivet or nuts or self-tapping screws using screw connections can be used, and finally these can be next to each other and possibly in connection with u. a.
  • the profiles of the frame can also be varied as much as the material used and, if necessary, its corrosion protection.
  • a closed, stable, relatively easy-to-manufacture and easy-to-use support unit for bricks to be created is created, which, by simply turning the support unit and thus practically without conversion work, optionally provides two different sets of support plates, so that the Manufacture and storage of the supporting units are just as cheap and simplified as their handling.
