Zur Steuerung der Aushebegreifer 30 kann einfach eine einer Stirnseite des Übernahmezylinders 29 benachbarte, gestellfest angeordnete Steuerkurve vorgesehen sein, die von jeweils einem mit einer die Aushebegreifer 30 aufweisenden, in Drehrichtung vorhangehenden Spindel verbundenen Tastorgan abgefahren wird. Der Umfang des Übernahmezylinders 29 entspricht dem Umfang des benachbarten Messerträgerzylinders 4. Bei der Herstellung von auf ganzen Umfang geschnittenen Produkten gemäss Figur 2 ist der Übernahmezylinder 29 mit einer mit Aushebegreifern 30 versehenen Spindel besetzt. Bei dieser Bestückung wird bei der Herstellung von auf halben Umfang geschnittenen Produkten gemäss Figur 1 jeweils jedes zweite Produkt ausgehoben. Die Auslegesterne 5 und 7 können dabei alternierend beaufschlagt werden. Für diesen Fall ist der Übernahmezylinder 29 mit einer den Falzmessern 22 zugeordneten Falzklappe 31 bestückbar, die einfach gegen eine Greiferreihe austauschbar sein soll. Die jeweils gegenüberliegende Greiferreihe kann bei aktivierter Falzklappe 31 ebenfalls abgenommen oder einfach stiligesetzt sein. Dieser Zustand liegt der Figur 2 zugrunde. Bei dem der Figur 1 zugrunde liegenden Zustand mit alternierender Beaufschlagung der Auslegesterne 5 und 7 ist die den aktivierten Aushebegreifern 30 gegenüberliegende Falzklappe 31 einfach passiviert. Im Bereich der Falzklappe 31 können die Bänder 32 einfach in gegenüber dem Zylinderumfang so weit vertieften Spuren laufen, dass die Falzklappe 31, deren Abschnitte zwischen den einzelnen Bändern hindurchgreifen, von aussen zugänglich ist. Es wäre jedoch auch denkbar, dem Übernahmezylinder 29 eine mit Aushebezungen versehene Klappe etwa der bei 26 angedeuteten Art zuzuordnen, welche in die Greifer bzw. die Falzklappe eingreift. In diesem Falle könnte der Übernahmezylinder 29 unumschlungen bleiben. Bei ausschliesslicher Benutzung des Auslegesterns 7 ist die Bandführung 6 passiviert. Dies geschieht einfach durch Stillsetzung der Aushebegreifer 30 bzw. Falzklappe 31. Claims (10)

1. A folder comprising at least one cylinder provided with folding flaps which co-acts with a cylinder provided with at least one folding knife in a transverse cutting means for severing a paper web into sheet-like products and by means of which at least one support station can be acted upon, characterized in that the cylinder (1) provided with said folding flaps (16) is associated with a plurality of transverse cutting means (2 and 3) which operate using a different cutting format and are adapted to be activated alternatively, that said cylinder (1) includes that segment of the circumference corrsponding to half of the smallest cutting format and formed by tool take-up positions, that said cylinder (1) is adapted to be equipped with folding flaps (16) disposed in the spaced relation of said folding knives (12) of the respectively activated transverse cutting means (2 or 3) and with scissor cutting knives (18) offset relative thereto by half the folding flap spacing opposite to the direction of rotation and projecting beyond the circumference thereof, and that a knife support cylinder (4) located to the rear of the transverse cutting means (2 and 3) in the direction of rotation but in front of the support station is mounted on said cylinder (1), the circumference of said knife support cylinder corresponding to at least the largest cutting format and being adapted to be equipped with scissor cutting knives (19) which co-operate therewith and are disposed in spaced relation to the scissor cutting knives (18) of said cylinder (1).
2. The folder as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that said scissor cutting knives (19) of said knife support cylinder (4) face towards puncture needles (23) located to the rear of the same in the direction of rotation.
3. The folder as set forth in claim 2, characterized in that foam rubber supports (24) mounted on the cylinder (1) opposite the knife support cylinder (4) are associated with puncture needles (23) preferably fixed with respect to the associated scissor cutting knife (19).
4. A folder as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims 2 or 3, characterized in that the knife support cylinder (4) has a circumferential region located to the rear of the cutting site of said scissor cutting knives (18 and 19) which is placed in an aspiration duct (25).
5. The folder as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cylinder (1) provided with said folding flaps (16) is at least partially equipped with removable or interchangeable folding or cutting elements.
6. The folder as set forth in claim 5, characterized in that interchangeable cartridges of identical size associated with said removable or interchangeable folding or cutting elements are provided which can be used in tool take-up positions provided on the side of the cylinder and formed by radial grooves (20).
7. The folder as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims comprising a support wheel (7) disposed directly behind the cylinder (1) provided with said folding flaps (16), characterized in that said cylinder (1) is associated on the side of the support wheel with a controlled flap (26) with lifting fingers which engage said folding flaps (16) and move past said scissor cutting knives (18) and a pressing roller (27) disposed adjacent to said flap (26) which comprises a flattened section associated with said cylinder (1) during the passage of said scissor cutting knives (16).
8. The folder as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims including a belt guide (6) associated with said cylinder (1) comprising said folding flaps (16), characterized in that said cylinder (1) is associated in the area of said belt guide (6) with a take-over cylinder (29) which is adapted to be equipped with controlled lifting grippers (30) which are disposed in the spaced relation of the folding flaps (16) of said cylinder (1) and which move past said scissor cutting knives (18) owing to the rotation of said take-over cylinder (29).
9. The folder as set forth in claim 8, characterized in that said cylinder (1) comprising said folding flaps (16) can be equipped with folding blades (22) which are respectively disposed adjacent to a free tool take-up position between a folding flap (16) and the respectively associated scissor cutting knives (18), and that said take-over cylinder (29) is adapted to be equipped with at least one folding flap (31) associated with said folding blades (22).
10. The folder as set forth in at least one of the preceding claims 8 and 9, characterized in that said take-over cylinder (29) is designed as a guide roller of the upper belt group of the associated belt guide (6) and has tracks associated with said belts (32) in the area associated with said folding flaps (31) which are flatter than the cylinder circumference at least on the work depth of said folding flap (31).
