Claims (9)

  1. A folding device for a roller rotary printing machine for performing a transverse folding procedure, in order to transversely cut a print medium (4), in particular a paper web, and to collect separated products, comprising the following features:
    - a cylinder arrangement, comprising:
    - a collecting cylinder (2) for collecting the separated products or printed copies; and
    - a knife cylinder (1) which co-operates with the collecting cylinder (2);
    - wherein the knife cylinder (1) comprises at least one, preferably two, arrangements comprising a leading cutting knife (15) and a trailing cutting knife (16), characterised in that a point hole means (10, 11, 12, 13) is provided between the leading cutting knife (15) and the trailing cutting knife (16); and
    - wherein the point hole means (10, 11, 12, 13) is assigned during operation to a cavity in the collecting cylinder, adjacent to which respective cutting supports (19, 20) are arranged;
    - wherein the point hole means is situated at a distance from the leading cutting knife (15) which is smaller than its (11, 12, 13) distance from the trailing cutting knife (16).
