Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Falzapparat zum Querfalzen aus mindestens einer Druckträgerbahn zugeschnittener Druckexemplare mittels eines Falzmessers und Falzklappenzylinders (zweiter Falz) und einer Transportvorrichtung zum Oberfuhren der quergefalzten Druckexemplare zum dritten Falz.The invention relates to a folder for cross folding from at least one print carrier sheet of cut copies by means of a folding knife and folding jaw cylinder (second fold) and a transport device for guiding the cross-folded copies to the third fold.

Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Anwendung der Merkmale des kennzeichnenden Teils des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Weiterbildungen ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen sowie aus der Beschreibung in Verbindung mit den Zeichnungen. In diesen zeigen schematisch:
- Fig.l ein Ausführungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemäßen Falzapparates mit einer ersten Sammelvorrichtung,
- Fig.2 ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung mit einer anderen Ausführungsform der Sammelleitung und
- Fig.3 bis 5 Falzprodukte.

Wie Fig.l schematisch zeigt, wird vorzugsweise eine Druckträgerbahn 1 über einen Falztrichter 2 zugeführt, wobei die Druckträgerbahn 1 längsgeschnitten wird. Die schematisch angedeutete Längsschneidevorrichtung 3 besteht üblicherweise aus einem am Falztrichter 2 angesetzten, rotierenden Schneidmesser. Die Druckträgerbahn 1 wird über nicht näher bezeichnete Trichtereinlaufwalzen Zugwalzen 4, 5 zugeführt, hinter denen die längsgeschnittene Druckträgerbahn 1 in Form einer Teilbahn la und einer Teilbahn 1b weitergeführt wird. Die Teilbahn lb läuft zwischen einer Perforiervorrichtung, gebildet durch Perforierzylinder 6, 7, hindurch und gelangt über weitere Zugwalzen 8, 9 zu einem Falzmesserzylinder 12, an den ein Schneidmesserzylinder 11 angestellt wird, um die Druckexemplare A1 in einer gewünschten Länge zu erzeugen.As Fig.l shows schematically, a
Mit Hilfe von Punkturen 12'am Falzmesserzylinder 12 ist auch ein Sammeln möglich. Durch die Falzmesser 12" des Falzmesserzylinders 12 werden die gesammelten oder nicht gesammelten Falzexemplare A1 unter Bildung des sogenannten zweiten Falzes (erster Querfalz) in entsprechende Falzklappen 13' des Falzklappenzylinders 13 gestoßen. Es ist bekannt, daß zur Bildung eines zweiten Querfalzes auf dem Falzklappenzylinder 13 ein weiterer Falzmesserzylinder 14 an den Falzklappenzylinder 13 angestellt wird. In erfindungsgemäßer Weise wird dieser zweite Falzmesserzylinder 14, der mit entsprechenden Punkturen 141 auszugestalten ist, zur Zuführung der Teilbahn la verwendet. Es bedarf lediglich eines weiteren Schneidmesserzylinders 15 am Falzmesserzylinder 14, um von der Teilbahn la Druckexemplare A2 einer bestimmten Länge abzuschneiden. In vorteilhafter Weise ist es nunmehr möglich, von dem an sich bekannten zweiten Falzmesserzylinder 14 die Druckexemplare A2 von der Teilbahn 1a zur Bildung eines Querfalzes (dies ist ebenfalls der sogenannte zweite Falz) in entsprechende Falzklappen 12' des Falzklappenzylinders 13 zu stoßen. Die Druckexemplare A1, A2 können von unterschiedlicher Art sein, beispielsweise kann es sich bei den Druckexemplaren Al um Prospekte der Damenmode und bei den Druckexemplaren A2 um Prospekte der Herrenmode handeln, die gemeinsam in eine Tageszeitung eingelegt werden sollen. Wie in Fig.1 gestrichelt angedeutet, sind am Falzklappenzylinder 13 zwei Systeme mit jeweils drei Falzklappen zueinander verschiebbar vorhanden oder es sind zusätzliche Falzklappen eingebaut, falls die Zylinderteile nicht weit genug verschiebbar sind. Dadurch ist es möglich, die Druckexemplare A1, bezogen auf die Druckexemplare A2, in leicht überlappter Weise von dem Falzklappenzylinder 13 an die nachfolgende Transportvorrichtung in Form von Bandleitungen 17, 17' zu übergeben.With the help of punctures 12 'on the folding
Hinter den Bandleitungen 17, 17' ist eine Weiche 16 angedeutet, mit deren Hilfe in einer Betriebsart in einer vorgegebenen Folge die vorzugsweise bereits jeweils quergefalzten Druckexemplare A1 und A2 in unterschiedliche weitere Bandleitungen 18, 18' bzw. 19, 20 zu übergeben, um diese zwei dritten Falze vorzugsweise in Form von je einer Längsfalzvorrichtung 21, 22 zu übergeben. Derartige Längsfalzvorrichtungen, wie bei 21, 22 angedeutet ist, sind allgemein bekannt und bestehen jeweils aus einem Falzwalzenpaar, in das ein Falzmesser einführbar ist.Behind the
Ist es jedoch erforderlich oder gewünscht, daß z.B. vorgefalzte Druckexemplare unterschiedlicher Art, beispielsweise Herrenmode und Damenmode, gemeinsam als Falzprodukt ausgegeben werden sollen und zwar in der Weise, daß ein Druckexemplar das andere umschließt, aber das innere Druckexemplar leicht entfernbar ist (Fig.3), so bietet die vorliegende Erfindung die Möglichkeit, vor dem dritten Falz eine Verzögerung in Form einer Sammelvorrichtung vorzusehen, durch die in einer bestimmten Weise Druckexemplare, beispielsweise A1, verzögert und einem nachfolgenden Druckexemplar, beispielsweise A2, zugeordnet, d.h. vorderkantengenau auf dieses aufgelegt werden können. Anschließend werden die beiden aufeinanderliegenden Druckexemplare A1, A2 gemeinsam dem dritten Falz (vorzugsweise zweiter Längsfalz) zugeführt und gemeinsam gefalzt. Es entsteht ein Falzprodukt gemäß Fig.3. Dadurch ist es möglich, vorderkantengenau die vorzugsweise einmal quergefalzten Druckexemplare unterschiedlicher Art in einer einzigen Vorrichtung vor dem dritten Falz zu sammeln und vorderkantengerecht übereinanderzulegen. Bei dieser Sammelbetriebsweise vor dem dritten Falz können gewünschtenfalls die beiden Druckexemplare Al, A2 gemeinsam im dritten Falz längsgefalzt werden, so daß das Falzprodukt entsteht wie bei 23 in Fig.3 angedeutet. Wahlweise ist es selbstverständlich möglich, die bereits quergefalzten Druckexemplare Al, A2 ohne nochmaligen Falz gemeinsam über ein nicht dargestelltes Schaufelrad, das in Laufrichtung nach dem dritten Falz 22 angeordnet ist, auszulegen, wodurch das Falzprodukt (24) gemäß Fig.4 entsteht.Instead of a ribbon cable, a
