Das neue Bahnende 5 wird vom vorderen Saugbändersystem 44 gehalten und weitertransportiert. Der neue Bahnanfang 15 wird vom hinteren Saugbändersystem 44 (in Produktionslaufrichtung E gesehen) gehalten und (schließlich) weitertransportiert. Claims (12)

  1. Apparatus for threading a paper web (1) or partial paper web (16, 17, 18, 19,) an apparatus (3) for reducing the tearing strength of a paper web (1) or partial paper web (16, 17, 18, 19) threaded along a first running path (A) in a web-fed rotary printing machine being arranged transversely with respect to the running direction of the web (1), so that a new, regular start (15) of the paper web (1) is produced, the start (15) and the following, uncut paper web (1) being capable of moving along a second path (B; C), characterized in that downstream in the running direction of the apparatus for reducing the tearing strength there is arranged a plurality of suction belt stations (21-24) located beside one another or a suction roll (13), and in that the latter can have vacuum applied to them section by section in accordance with the partial paper webs (16, 17, 18, 19).
  2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the running paths (A, B, C) lie in separate planes, in that a second conveying plane lies above a first conveying plane, and in that a further conveying plane lies below the first conveying plane.
  3. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that each suction belt station (21-24) has a suction belt (44) that circulates at a distance (D) from the paper web (1; 16-19).
  4. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that at least the end (36) of each suction belt station (21-24) is arranged such that it can be adjusted vertically by means of an actuating device (64).
  5. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that each suction belt station (21-24) comprises a plurality of chambers (26-29) which are arranged one behind another in the production running direction (E) and to which air can be applied.
  6. Apparatus according to Claim 5, characterized in that the chambers (26-29) are each connected to one another in an articulated manner.
  7. Apparatus according to Claim 3, characterized in that the suction belt (44) of each suction belt station (21-24) has holes (46-50) over its width and length.
  8. Apparatus according to Claim 5, characterized in that, on its underside (31) facing the paper web (1, 16-19), each chamber (26-29) has elongate holes (52-56) over its width and length.
  9. Apparatus according to Claims 7 and 8, characterized in that the holes (46-50) in the suction belt (44) can from time to time be brought into overlap with elongate holes (52-56) of the underside (31) of the associated suction belt station (21-24).
  10. Apparatus according to Claim 5, characterized in that the chambers (26-29) are optionally connected to a compressed-air or to a vacuum source.
  11. Apparatus according to Claim 5, characterized in that the chambers (26-29) of each suction belt station (21-24) are connected to one another in an articulated manner in such a way that the conveying section close to the paper web and formed by the suction belt (44) of each suction belt station (21-24) optionally runs rectilinearly or convexly or concavely.
  12. Apparatus according to Claim 3, characterized in that a controllable-speed electric motor is provided as the drive for the suction belt (44) of each suction belt station (21-24).
