Claims (5)

1. Outil à dresser pour l'usinage de meules au moyen d'une roulette à dresser rotative (10) ou d'un bloc à dresser (30) à déplacement linéaire, et d'une série de saillies (32) disposées les unes derrière les autres, dans le sens de coupe, respectivement à la périphérie de la roulette à dresser ou d'un côté du bloc à dresser, et pourvues de plaquettes de coupe (18, 34) de préférence en diamant polycristallin synthétique, en nitrure de bore cristallin cubique, en métal dur ou en céramique, lesquelles se chevauchent partiellement de manière à former le profil de l'outil à dresser, caractérisé en ce que les plaquettes de coupe (18, 34) se présentent, dans le sens de coupe de l'outil à dresser, sous une forme différente lorsqu'elles se trouvent sur deux saillies (16, 20, 22. 24, 32) consécutives.
2. Outil à dresser suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les plaquettes de coupe (18 ; 34) sont constituées d'un corps de base formant le profil de coupe et pourvu d'un revêtement.
3. Outil à dresser en forme de roulette à dresser suivant la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il est disposé à la périphérie d'un corps principal (12), des segments (14) écartés les uns par rapport aux autres, sur la surface d'attaque desquels sont installées les plaquettes de coupe (18).
4. Outil à dresser suivant la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le corps principal (12) comprend des logements de copeaux (26) prévus devant les surfaces d'attaque.
5. Outil à dresser en forme de bloc à dresser suivant la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que les plaquettes de coupe (34) sont installées sur des saillies (32) prévues sur un corps de base (30).
