Claims (8)

1. Dispositif pour imprimantes, notamment pour imprimantes à encre par points, comportant une tête d'écriture (TS) déplacée ligne par ligne le long d'un support d'enregistrement, et un dispositif déplacé le long d'un dispositif porte-papier (RF) ou analogue suivant la direction des lignes et servant à identifier la position d'un support d'enregistrement (A) appliqué contre le porte-papier (RF) ou analogue, moyennant l'utilisation d'un dispositif d'exploration constitué par une source de rayonnement (LED) et par un récepteur (FT) en aval duquel est branché un circuit d'évaluation (IC) produisant un signal d'identification en fonction de la présence d'un support d'enregistrement (A), caractérisé par le fait que le circuit d'évaluation (IC) est agencé de telle sorte qu'il déplace le dispositif d'exploration (LED, FT) actionné de façon impulsionnelle, en fonction d'un signal de recherche déclenchant un cycle de recherche et qu'une multiplicité d'impulsions individuelles d'exploration est associée à chaque trajet d'exploration global subdivisé en trajets individuels d'exploration de base (B1-BN), et que le circuit d'évaluation évalue respectivement en commun les impulsions d'exploration de chaque trajet d'exploration de base (B).
2. Dispositif suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que le circuit d'évaluation (IL, L) détecte en commun des trajets successifs d'exploration de base (B) associés à un groupe d'évaluation et produit un signal commun d'identification par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit logique (L) prenant une décision majoritaire.
3. Dispositif suivant l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé par le fait qu'une diode à luminescence (LED) est montée en tant que source de rayonnement et qu'un phototransistor (FT) est monté en tant que récepteur.
4. Dispositif suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé par le fait que la face du porte-papier (RF) possède une surface réfléchissante.
5. Dispositif suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé par le fait que le dispositif d'exploration (LED, FT) est monté sur la tête d'écriture (TS).
6. Dispositif suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé par le fait qu'il est prévu un circuit d'auto-maintien réalisant la combinaison logique OU des signaux de sortie du dispositif d'exploration, pour chaque trajet de base (B), et qui est formé par exemple par un commutateur à valeur de seuil (IC).
7. Dispositif suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé par une source de rayonnement formée d'une diode à luminescence (LED) commandée de façon impulsionnelle par l'intermédiaire d'un commutateur électrique (31), par un récepteur branché en aval et formé d'un photo- transistor (FT), par un diviseur de tension (R4, R5), acouplé de façon capacitive (C1) au récepteur et déterminant la valeur de seuil pour le commutateur de seuil (IC), et par un commutateur à valeur de seuil (IC), branché en aval et dont la sortie (ICA) est couplée par réaction à son entrée (ICE) par l'intermédiaire d'une diode (B2).
8. Dispositif suivant l'une des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé par le fait que la diode à luminescence (LED) fonctionne en régime de surin-intensité.
