Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a process for single-bath, single-stage dyeing of wool and cellulose-containing fiber mixtures with reactive dyestuffs, in particular those with an anionically removable reactive group by the exhaust process from electrolyte-containing dye baths, characterized in that the process is carried out in a neutral to acid medium, preferably at 90- 120 ° C.
  • the process is suitable for dyeing yarn and piece goods on apparatus, reel runners and jet dyeing machines.
  • the textile material is mixed with a dyebath which has a pH of 3.5-7, preferably 4.5-6.9, contains 30-120 g / 1 of a conventional electrolyte, in particular sodium sulfate, and 1 / z-2 hours at 90-120 ° C, preferably 100-110 ° C heated.
  • a dyebath which has a pH of 3.5-7, preferably 4.5-6.9, contains 30-120 g / 1 of a conventional electrolyte, in particular sodium sulfate, and 1 / z-2 hours at 90-120 ° C, preferably 100-110 ° C heated.
  • the pH can be adjusted in different ways.
  • the following working method has proven particularly useful.
  • the softened, bicarbonate-containing process water which usually has a weakly alkaline reaction, is adjusted to pH 4.5-5.5 by adding dilute sulfuric acid or sodium bisulfate and heated to 70 ° C before the introduction of the fiber material, and then heated to drive off the carbonic acid contained, then after the fiber material has been introduced, the desired pH of 6.8 is set using disodium phosphate.
  • the optimal pH range can of course also be set by other means, e.g. Acetic acid, phosphoric acid or sodium or potassium salts of phosphoric acid as well as usual buffers.
  • acid and metal complex dyes and auxiliaries for example basic leveling agents, can be added to the dyeing tape, as described, for example, in German Patents 1,258,817 and 1,619,530, Austrian Patent 206,860 and the British Patent 838 312 are described.
  • German Offenlegungsschrift 1 619 530 describes, inter alia, the dyeing of wool with wool reactive dyes, which, as is customary with wool, is carried out in an acidic medium.
  • cellulose / wool mixtures according to the invention are dyed in a neutral to acidic medium. The feasibility of cellulose / wool dyeing under such conditions must be regarded as surprising.
  • the method is suitable in principle for all known reaction dyes, but especially for those with fluoropyrimidinyl group, in particular difluorochloropyrimidinyl group, dichlorotriazinyl group, monofluorotriazinyl group or dichloroquinoxalinyl group.
  • the flow through the winding body is 6 minutes from the inside to the outside and 6 minutes from the outside to the inside.
  • the dyebath is brought to 110 ° in 40 minutes and kept at this temperature for 30 minutes.
  • the drained liquor is then drained off and rinsed cold and warm until the adhering salt has been completely removed; 2 parts of 25% ammonia solution and part of a commercially available detergent are then added to the bath and soaped at 80 ° C. for 10 minutes to remove the adhering dye hydrolyzate.
  • 100 parts of a blended fabric consisting of 50 parts of wool and 50 parts of cellulose are mixed on a HT reel runner with a 70 ° warm liquor exists and has a pH of 6.3.
  • the dyebath is heated to 110 ° C. in 40 minutes and kept at this temperature for 20 minutes.
  • the fleet is then drained and rinsed cold and warm. After the usual aftertreatment described in Example 1, a deep ruby color with good fastness properties is obtained.
  • the liquor is brought to 100 ° and kept at this temperature for 60 minutes, after which the liquor is drained and rinsed cold and warm. After the usual aftertreatment described in Example 1, a deep red color is obtained with good fastness properties.
  • the liquor is brought to 100 ° and kept at this temperature for 30 minutes, then the liquor is drained and rinsed cold and warm. After the usual aftertreatment described in Example 1, a deep ruby color with good fastness properties is obtained.
  • 100 parts of a warp knitted fabric consisting of 50 parts of a chlorinated wool yarn and 50 parts of a mercerized cotton yarn are mixed with a 70 ° warm liquor on an HT reel runner
  • the liquor is brought to 105 ° and kept at this temperature for 60 minutes, then the liquor is drained and rinsed cold and warm. After the usual aftertreatment described in Example 1, a clear, uniform green coloration with good fastness properties is obtained.
