Definitions

  • the invention relates to a selection device for textile machines, such as jacquard, rustling or card punching machines, for the actuation of reading or other control elements, e.g. for pressing control needles or read-in slides or of circuit boards or the like, in which a number of bending rods, for example rod-shaped or strip-shaped, are bent by the application of an electrical or magnetic field, which are arranged parallel to one another in a frame or frame and each with a between Two positions of the locking element which can be moved to and fro are connected, with the individual locking element striking or not striking against the reading element assigned to it, depending on the deflection of the bending oscillators, in the case of a relative movement between the device and the reading elements.
  • a number of bending rods for example rod-shaped or strip-shaped
  • Textile machines which have selection devices which work with such bending oscillators are already known (e.g. DE-PS 22 30 487, DE-PS 21 30 502 and DE-AS 25 09 217).
  • the flexural vibrators are firmly clamped at one end in a frame, while their free end swings back and forth and thereby moves a locking slide or the like, which is supported on the frame, between two positions. The respective position of this control slide is scanned by push-off needles which act on circuit boards or the like.
  • the flexible oscillators clamped on one side can only transmit very small forces with their movable free end, since their brittle material tends to break them even at low stresses.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a simple design of the selection device which is more stable, more compact and takes up less space.
  • the solution to this problem is that the flexural vibrators are mounted with their two ends at two opposite points and the locking element supported on the housing is fastened in the region of the antinode located between the two bearing points. This gives a stable and compact arrangement.
  • the locking element supported on the housing absorbs the forces exerted by the push-off needles or other reading elements.
  • a particularly space-saving design is achieved in that the individual flexural vibrators are arranged in a parallel position with their one end next to the end of the reading elements which are also assigned to them and are also rod-shaped or strip-shaped.
  • a support stop for the locking element which is arranged between two bending oscillators, is at the same time designed as a limit stop for the movement stroke of the bending oscillators.
  • the flexible oscillators are loosely supported with their ends in the bearing points. This can happen, for example, in that the ends of the oscillators are mounted in conical slots or in that the ends are held in elastically flexible bearing elements. This avoids unnecessary bending stresses.
  • guide bores 10a are made in the horizontal direction (FIGS. 1 and 3) through which the ends 33 of the push-off elements 9 are guided.
  • the plastic housing is designed as a base plate 1b (FIGS. 2 and 4) on which ridges are formed at the rear and front or on both sides, which are used to guide the push-off elements 9 and to support strip-shaped bending oscillators 2. These elevations can, for example, consist of one piece with the base plate 1b.
  • Conical slots 3a (see FIGS. 1 and 2) in which the left side of the bending oscillator 2 is mounted are provided in the elevations 3 at the rear and front of the base plate 1.
  • conical slots 3a are also provided on the right-hand side, which serve for the right-hand mounting of the bending vibrator.
  • the bending vibrator 2 is mounted on the left and right in these two slots.
  • the ridges 8 are formed at the back and front, which serve as a stop or as an anvil for the locking element 5, which is connected to the flexural oscillator via the elastic adhesive connection 6.
  • On the stop surface 8a absorbs the axial force of the push-off element.
  • At the left end of the bending vibrator there is an adjusting ring 4 which prevents the bending vibrator from moving horizontally to the right.
  • the bending oscillator is installed between the collar 4 and the blocking element 5 with the play Z.
  • Locking elements 5 which are made of plastic, e.g. made of polyamide, and these have an insert 7 made of hardened steel.
  • the push-off elements 9 meet them during operation, e.g. in the locked position 2b (below, Fig. 1 and Fig. 3).
  • the installation of the flexural vibrators 2 on both sides into the plastic housing 1 is very simple, they are pushed completely into the slots 3a of the elevations 3 and 10 with the locking piece 5 and the limiting adjusting ring 4 at the rear and front of the housing 1.
  • the cover plates 1a serve as a lateral limitation at the rear and front.
  • the locking pieces 5 are laterally delimited or guided on the surfaces 11 and 11a, so that no twisting of the locking piece 5 or the bending vibrator 2 can occur.
  • the bending vibrators 2 are supplied with voltage via electrical supply lines 12 in accordance with a textile pattern program for the card punching machine or a textile pattern program for the Raschel machine, so that they move in one direction (position 2a, up) or in the other direction (position 2b, down), for example. be deflected.
  • the de-energized middle position is designated by 2.
  • the blocking elements 5 According to the movement of the bending vibrators, the blocking elements 5 also go into the blocking position 2b or inactive position 2a, or they remain in the central position.
  • the push-off elements and bending vibrators move relative to one another in the direction of their longitudinal axis.
  • the push-off elements 9 into position 9a i.e. a left scanning movement of the push-off elements 9 is blocked.
  • Other push-off elements 9 reach position 9b by the scanning movement running to the left.
  • the length of the locking element 5 is at least as long as the stroke of the push-off element must be.
  • the stroke of each locking element 5 or each bending vibrator 2 is limited by the stops 8b below and 8c above.
  • the latter is held in a rubber or plastic bearing 4a instead of in slots in the ends on the left and right approximately in the vibration nodes.
  • Foam rubber 4a which is held in the recess 3b and can be used as the storage medium, for example, and since this is very elastic, the precise positioning of the bearing is not important.
  • drop plates 13 are arranged in a frame, which, depending on the position of the recess 14 in the push-off element 9, are moved downward via corresponding intermediate links, such as drop pins, push pins and Transfer rams that affect stamps.
  • the push-off elements 9 are designed as reading elements, in the example shown here as narrow, elongated sliders that can be moved in the horizontal direction.
  • the reading elements are arranged in the form of 84 groups of 16 elements, one above the other in one plane.
  • the push-off elements 9 are driven by a pressure rake 15 which can be moved back and forth according to arrow X. Springs 17 are inserted on the left ends 16 of the pushing elements, which are guided in the pushing rake 15, via which the horizontal movement of the reading elements 9 takes place.
  • These falling boards 13 have laterally outwardly projecting pins 19 with which they can rest on the read-in slides 9.
  • the pins 19 of the first 8 fall boards are directed to one side and those of the 8 other fall boards to the other side.
  • the slider 18 moves with it about the pin 2 0 hanging case boards 13 upward. Then, the pressure rake 15 is moved to the right by the machine drive, not shown, and the reading elements can be moved horizontally to the right into the selection position or not via the spring 17, depending on the position of the locking element 5 actuated by the control element 2 mounted in the housing 21. That is, if the blocking element 5 has moved downwards in accordance with the information from the selection electronics, the scanning movement of the reading element 9 is blocked and there is no horizontal movement, only the spring 17 is compressed. If the blocking element 5 is in the upper position, the reading element can carry out the horizontal movement via the spring 17.
  • the falling plates 13 are supported with their pins 19, depending on the position of the reading element 9 assigned to them, either from its upper edge or if the reading element assigned to them has not been locked, they fall into the recess provided for this purpose 14 of its reading element 9, which ent ent in the push needle 22 of the card striking machine located below lower speaking push pin and the corresponding punches 23 are actuated via the pressure rake 24.
  • boards 25 are arranged in a frame 29 which can be coupled to the lifting knives 26. From the boards 25, the displacer pins 27 are moved upwards into the pattern-like selection position via control cables 28.
  • the boards 25 are pressed by horizontal push-off elements 9, i.e. moved back and forth according to arrow X 'so that its hook 34 e.g. stand outside or within the range of the lifting knives 26 (disengaging and engaging).
  • the push-off elements 9, which are designed as narrow, elongated read-in slides, are driven by a pressure rake 30 which is moved back and forth according to arrow X.
  • springs 32 are inserted, via which the horizontal movement of the read-in slides 9 takes place.
  • the selection device 21 is located at the left end 33 of the reading slide.
  • flexural vibrators 2 of the type described are combined in rows and blocks in a frame 21 and connected upstream of a jacquard machine instead of the known pre-needle mechanism.
  • any information provider not shown, such as Punch cards, magnetic tapes or disks receive 2 control impulses for the piezoelectric bending transducers. These impulses cause the blocking elements 5 and the bending vibrators 2 to come into a defined position directed upwards or downwards (FIGS. 1 and 3), that is to say they come to rest between the elevations 8 on one of the two stop surfaces 8b or 8c and there remain correspondingly in time under the effect of the electrical force.
  • the blocking elements 5 directed downward hit the push-off elements 9, which in the example shown are designed as elongated control needles which can be moved in the horizontal direction.
  • These control needles 9 are guided in the guide plate 35.
  • the control needles 9 decouple the sinkers 37 from the lifting knives 36 of the jacquard machine. When these lifting knives 36 then ramp up, these sinkers 37, which they have uncoupled, and the warp threads, not shown, which they actuate, remain in the lower position in the weaving machine.
  • the blocking elements 5 of the flexural vibrators 2 act in an equivalent manner on the push-off elements 9, which are known in the form of dobby machines as control needles, which in turn bring the lifting pins 39 into or out of the area of the auxiliary knives 40.
  • lifting pins 39 brought out of the area of the auxiliary knives 40 by the control needles or push-off elements 9 which are actuated by the locking elements 5 and which are guided in the guide 38 remain in the low position.
  • the sinkers 41 remain in the lower position associated with the main knives 42 or 43 of the dobby, which in their action on them, balance lever 44 and shaft lever 45 spend the heald frames in the high position.
  • the heald frames assigned to these sinkers will therefore remain at their lowest position, which also forms the shed compartment prescribed according to the pattern.
