On a donc songé à disposer, entre l'attache et le rail, une pièce intercalaire présentant une certaine élasticité. - -enfin, la lame est pourvue, dans sa partie arrière, d'un mouvement qui coopère avec la ou les butées prévues sur la partie arrière de l'intercalaire pour empêcher la lame de glisser sur l'intercalaire lors du serrage; ainsi, si "la butée" de l'intercalaire est constituée par deux butées situées aux deux extrémités de la gorge de l'intercalaire, le moyen correspondant de la lame peut tout simplement être constitué par une largeur de lame telle, dans sa partie arrière qui correspond à ladite gorge, que la lame vienne s'encastrer entre ces deux butées.
