Dispositif de fixation d'un rail (R) de chemin de fer sur une traverse (T) du type comprenant un insert (1) ancré dans la traverse, une attache élastique (2) de rail, au moins une entretoise isolante (31,32) disposée entre l'insert (1) et/ou l'attache (2) et le rail (R), une semelle (S) sur laquelle repose le patin du rail et un organe de serrage (4,4') de l'attache (2) sur l'insert (1), caractérisé en ce que l'organe de serrage (4,4') est constitué notamment d'une tige (40,40') pourvue, dans sa partie inférieure, d'un élément de retenue (41,41') formé par au moins une face d'appui (41a,41b,41'a) s'étendant radialement au-delà de la tige et, en ce que, l'insert (1) comporte une face avant fixe (la) formant butée pour les efforts latéraux du rail et une cavité interne (10) débouchant vers le haut par au moins une ouverture supérieure (11) dont les contours et les dimensions respectives sont déterminés de façon à permettre l'introduction et la translation de l'ensemble constitué de l'organe de serrage (4,4') et de l'attache (2), ainsi que le verrouillage de l'élément de retenue (41) dans ladite cavité (10) par un mouvement approprié de l'organe de serrage dans ladite ouverture (11).  CLAIMS 1. Device for fixing a rail (R) of a railway on a cross-member (T) of the type comprising an insert (1) anchored in the cross-member, an elastic rail fastener (2), at least one insulating spacer (31,32) disposed between the insert (1) and / or the fastener (2) and the rail (R), a sole (S) on which the shoe of the rail rests and a clamping member (4,4 ') of the fastener (2) on the insert (1), characterized in that the clamping member (4,4') consists in particular of a rod (40,40 ') provided, in its part lower, of a retaining element (41,41 ') formed by at least one bearing face (41a, 41b, 41'a) extending radially beyond the rod and, in that, the insert (1) has a fixed front face (la) forming a stop for the lateral forces of the rail and an internal cavity (10) opening upwards through at least one upper opening (11) whose contours and respective dimensions are determined by so as to allow introduction and trans lation of the assembly consisting of the clamping member (4,4 ') and the fastener (2), as well as the locking of the retaining element (41) in said cavity (10) by an appropriate movement of the clamping member in said opening (11).
