Abstract
Esta invención provee una síntesis regioselectiva del éster 42 de rapamicina con el ácido 3-hidroxi-2-(hidroximetil)-2-metil propiónico (CCI-779) basada en la química del ácido borónico. Esta invención sobrelleva la complejidad y, a menudo, la purificación laboriosa del monoéster-42 de rapmicina obtenida usando métodos primarios.
