La presente invención derribe compuestos que son nuevos antagonistas para la hormona concentradora de melanina (MC), así como también métodos para la preparación de dichos compuestos. En otra realización, la invención describe composiciones farmacéuticas que comprende dichos antagonistas de MC, así como también métodos de uso de las mismas para el tratamiento de obesidad, trastornos metabólicos, trastornos de la alimentación tales como hiperfabia y diabetes.
