Abstract
Изобретение относится к штамму Enterococcus mundtii, обладающему пробиотическими качествами. Штамм Е. mundtii (ST4SA) вырабатывает антимикробный пептид, который демонстрирует антимикробную активность в отношении широкого спектра бактерий. Изобретение также предусматривает изолированную последовательность нуклеотидов, кодирующую антимикробный пептид (пептид ST4SA). Также изобретение предусматривает процедуру получения пептида настоящего изобретения, согласно которой штамм ST4SA Enterococcus mundtii культивируют в питательной среде при микроаэрофильных условиях и температуре от 10 до 45°С до получения извлекаемого количества упомянутого пептида, после чего пептид извлекают. Изолированный пептид настоящего изобретения может применяться в качестве антимикробного средства в составе жидкого или гелеобразного препарата для местного лечения, а также может использоваться в качестве антимикробного средства после инкапсуляции в полимере.
