Abstract

Модифицированную фенолоальдегидную новолачную смолу получают реакцией фенольного соединения (например, резорцина) с алифатическим полиолом. Реакционную смесь дополнительно вводят в реакцию с формальдегидом с получением модифицированной фенолоальдегидной новолачной смолы. Реакцию обычно проводят в присутствии кислотного или основного катализатора. Полученная смола отличается относительно низким уровнем свободного резорцина; и композиции каучука, содержащие смолу, обычно проявляют низкое дымление, более низкую вязкость по вискозиметру Муни (что означает более хорошую обрабатываемость), более хорошие динамические характеристики устойчивости (G') и/или хорошие разрывные свойства. Таким образом, полученная смола может быть использована в качестве акцептора метилена в вулканизируемой композиции каучука.
