Изобретение относится к неорганическому сцинтилляционному материалу формулыв которой М обозначает двухвалентный щелочно-земельный металл и М' обозначает трехвалентный металл, причем(z+v) больше или равно 0,0001 и меньше или равно 0,2,z больше или равно 0 и меньше или равно 0,2,v больше или равно 0 и меньше или равно 0,2,х больше или равно 0,0001 и меньше 0,1,у изменяется от (x+z) до 1.Более конкретно, этот материал применяют для сцинтиллирующих детекторов в промышленности, медицине (сканер) и/или для детектирования при нефтяном бурении. Присутствие Са в кристалле позволяет снизить послесвечение, сохраняя высокую способность к остановке лучей высокой энергии.
