Abstract

Un proceso para la producción de un producto a base de ferroniquel a partir de un producto mixto a base de hidrdxido de hierro y niquel, proceso éste que incluye los siguientes pasos: disponer de un producto mixto a base de hidrdxido de hierro y niquel; peletizar el producto mixto a base de nidrdxido de hierro y niquel a los efectos de producir pellas de hidrdxido de hierro y niquel; calcinar las pellas de hidrdxido de hierro y niquel a los fines de producir pellas mixtas a base de óxido de hierro y niquel; y reducir ]as pellas de oxido de hierro y niquel con uno o mas gases reductores a temperaturas elevadas, con el objeto de producir petlas de ferroniquel.
