Claims (16)
1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et præparat, omfattende de følgende trin: a: inkubere et vandigt substrat med bifidobakterier, hvor substratet omfatter mindst én udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af mælk, mælkeprotein, valle, valleprotein, valleproteinhydrolysat, kaseinhydrolysat, og laktose for at opnå en inkuberet blanding; b: inaktivere bifidobakterierne ved at opvarme den inkuberede blanding og/eller fjerne bifidobakterieceller fra den inkuberede blanding ved hjælp af centrifugering og/eller filtrering; c: kombinere en sammensætning omfattende den blanding, som opnås i trin a eller opnås i trin b, fortrinsvis opnået i trin b med mindst to forskellige ikke-fordøjelige kulhydrater, hvor fortrinsvis mindst én, fortrinsvis to, er udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af fructo-oligosaccharider, galacto-oligosaccharider, glu-co-oligosaccharider, arabino-oligosaccharider, mannan-oligosaccharider, xylo-oligosaccharider, fuco-oligosaccharider, arabinogalacto- oligosaccharider, glucomanno-oligosaccharider, galactomanno-oligosaccharider, raffinose, lactosucrose, sialinsyre omfattende oligosaccha-rider og uronsyre-oligosaccharider.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor bifidobakterierne tilhører arten B. breve, fortrinsvis stammen B. breve CNCM 1-2219.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, yderligere omfattende følgende trin: d: inkubere et substrat med Streptococcus thermophilus, fortrinsvis stammen S. thermophilus CNCM 1-1620 eller CNCM 1-1470, hvor substratet er mindst én udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af mælk, mælkeprotein, valle, valleprotein, valleproteinhydrolysat, kasein, kaseinhydrolysat, og laktose for at opnå en inkuberet blanding, og e: inaktivere S. thermophilus ved at opvarme den inkuberede blanding af trin d og/eller fjerne S. thermophilus-celler fra den inkuberede blanding af trin e ved hjælp af centrifugering og/eller filtrering; f: kombinere den inkuberede blanding opnået i trin d eller e, fortrinsvis trin d, med den inkuberede blanding opnået i trin a, b eller c, fortrinsvis i trin a.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor de ikke-fordøjelige kulhydrater er mindst én, fortrinsvis mindst to, udvalgt fra gruppen bestående af galacto-oligosaccharider og fructo-oligosaccharider.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor fremstillingen efter trin b omfatter mindre end 103 cfu levende bifidobakterier per g tørvægt af præparatet.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, yderligere omfattende et tørringstrin.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor der i trin c kun tilsættes én ikke-fordøjelig kulhydrat, hvor det ikke-fordøjelige kulhydrat er fruc-to-oligosaccharid.
8. Præparat, der kan opnås ved hjælp af fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav.
9. Ernæringssammensætning omfattende eller bestående af præparatet ifølge krav 8.
10. Sammensætning ifølge krav 9, omfattende 0,5 til 10 g ikke-fordøjeligt kulhydrat per 100 g tørvægt af sammensætningen.
11. Spædbørnsernæring omfattende, på basis af tørvægt af småbørnsernæ-ringen a) fra 0,5 til 10 vægt% af summen af galacto-oligosaccharider og fructo-oligosaccharider, og b) fra 5 til 99,5 vægt% af præparatet opnået efter trin b ifølge et af krav 1 til krav 5, hvor bifidobakterierne i trin a tilhører arten B. breve c) og eventuelt 2 til 94,5 vægt% af præparatet opnået i trin e ifølge et af kravene 3 til 6.
12. Sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 9 til 11 til anvendelse til at tilvejebringe ernæring til et spædbarn.
13. Sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 9 til 12 til anvendelse ved behandling og/eller forebyggelse af en sygdom.
14. Sammensætning eller præparat ifølge et af kravene 8 til 13 til anvendelse ved behandling og/eller forebyggelse af infektioner og/eller diarré.
15. Sammensætning eller præparat ifølge et af kravene 8 til 14 til anvendelse ved behandling og/eller forebyggelse af bakterietranslokation.
16. Sammensætning eller præparat ifølge et af kravene 8 til 14 til anvendelse ved forbedring af intestinal barrierefunktion, stigning i intestinal barrieremodning og/eller formindsket intestinal barrierepermeabilitet.
