Claims (19)
1. 1. Vandig sol, der indeholder kolloide partikler, som er baseret på siliciumdioxid, der har et aksialt forhold på mindst 10 og en S-værdi op til 25 %.
2. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge krav 1, hvor solen har et aksialt forhold i intervallet fra 10 til 100, hensigtsmæssigt op til 40.
3. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor solen har et aksialt forhold i intervallet fra 11 til 35.
4. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 3, hvor de siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler er overflademodificeret med aluminium.
5. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge krav 4, hvor solen har et molforhold mellem Si:AI på fra 5:1 til 20:1.
6. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 5, hvor solen har et indhold af siliciumdioxid på mindst 3 % efter vægt.
7. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 6, hvor solen har en S-værdi i intervallet fra 5 til 20 %
8. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 7, hvor solen har et pH i intervallet fra 7,0 til 10,0.
9. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 8, hvor solen har et molforhold mellem Si:X, hvor X = alkalimetal, på fra 6:1 til 20:1.
10. Sol, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 9, hvor solen indeholder asymmetriske eller aflange siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler.
11. Anvendelse af solen, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 8 som et flokkuleringsmiddel.
12. Anvendelse ifølge krav 11, hvor solen, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler, anvendes som et drænings- og retentionsmiddel ved papirfremstilling.
13. Anvendelse ifølge krav 11, hvor solen, der indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler, anvendes som et flokkuleringsmiddel til vandrensning.
14. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af papir, som omfatter: (a) at tilvejebringe en vandig suspension, der omfatter cellulosefibre; (b) at tilsætte et eller flere drænings- og retentionsmiddel, der omfatter en sol, som indeholder siliciumdioxidbaserede partikler ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 10, til suspensionen; og (c) at afvande den opnåede suspension for at tilvejebringe et ark eller en bane af papir.
15. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 14, hvor det ene eller de nævnte flere drænings- og retentionshjælpemidler omfatter kationisk stivelse.
16. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 14 eller 15, hvor det ene eller de nævnte flere drænings- og retentionsmidler omfatter en kationisk syntetisk polymer.
17. Fremgangsmåden ifølge ethvert af kravene 14 til 16, hvor det ene eller de nævnte flere drænings- og retentionsmidler omfatter en anionisk polymer.
18. Fremgangsmåden ifølge ethvert af kravene 14 til 17, hvor det ene eller de nævnte flere drænings- og retentionsmidler omfatter et polyacrylamid.
19. Fremgangsmåden ifølge ethvert af kravene 14 til 18, hvor den yderligere omfatter at tilsætte et kationisk koaguleringsmiddel til suspensionen.
