Den foreliggende opfindelse angår en mineraluldplade til termisk eller akustisk isolering forsynet med en i det væsentlige støvtæt til mineralulden fastholdt, tynd formstoffolie.
Mineraluld udgør på grund af sit ringe indhold af organisk materiale en meget anvendt brandhæmmende isolering. Det organiske materiale i mineralulden er et bindemiddel, der tjener til en indbyrdes såmmenklaeb-ning af mineralfibrene i disses krydsningspunkter, og1 Γ bindemidlet forøger mineraluldens elasticitet og trek* styrke. Til isoleringsformål, hvor den brandhæmmende virkning er det primære formål for isoleringen, anvendes der fortrinsvis en mineraluld, hvis indhold af biri-demiddel er minimalt, og hvor en bortbrænding af binde- 2 142064 midlet ikke kan give anledning til væsentlig temperaturstigning i mineralulden. Dette medfører en tilsvarende reduktion af mineraluldens tradestyrke, hvilket kan gøre plader af en sådan mineraluld mere sarte og dermed min-5 dre lette at håndtere navnlig under tilpasning og opsætning. Til afhjælpning af disse ulemper er det kendt at forsyne mineraluldpladerne med en støvtæt beklædning af metalfolie klæbet til mineraluldpladen. Ved anvendelse af et uorganisk klæbestof undgås en forøgelse af mængden 10 af brændbart materiale.
Den kendte belægning har imidlertid den ulempe, at den er forholdsvis kostbar i forhold til selve mineraluldpladen uden at den forøger den brandhæmmende virk-, ning af mineralulden. Metalfolien ændrer mineraluldens 15 akustiske isoleringsevne i negativ retning.
Det er endvidere kendt med henblik på at opnå en højere bøjnings- og trækstyrke på en mineralfiberplade at gennemhulle pladen som en si og derpå påføre et bindemiddel, f.eks. et skumstof, i overfladezonen 20 og ind i hullerne. Denne overfladebelægning kan yderligere afdækkes med en formstoffolie. Ved den kendte mineralfiberplade tilføres der betydelige mængder formstof, der øger mængden af brændbart materiale, eller, hvis der anvendes et uorganisk stof, vægten af pladen. Folien tje-25 ner mest til undgåelse af klæbning under fremstillingen.
Formålet for den foreliggende opfindelse er derfor at anvise en foliebeklædt mineraluldplade, der er tilsvarende bekvem at håndtere som den kendte foliebeklædte, men som er væsentligt billigere at fremstille og som 30 ikke udviser ringere brandhæmmende isolering.
Dette formål opnås ved, at mineraluldpladen er ejendommelig ved, at folien er af et brandhæmmende . formstof, og at folien er fastsmeltet til mineraluldpladen.
35 Ved anvendelse af formstoffolie kan folien ved opvarmning og samtidig fastsugning mod mineralulden bruges til ved delvis smeltning at hæfte til mineralulden.
Der spares derved et klæbestof. På grund af den ringe tykkelse folien kan nøjes med at have, giver en eventuel af- 142064 3 brænding ikke noget væsentligt bidrag til en opstået brand og forringer derfor ikke minerftluldpladens brandhæmmende virkning, der iøvrigt ved den kendte udformning ikke forbedres ved, at folien er en metalfolie, fortrins-5 vis af aluminium.
Opfindelsen skal i det følgende beskrives nærmere under henvisning til tegningen, der viser et apparat til beklædning af en mineraluldplade med en termoplastisk folie.
10 En mineraluldplade 1 fremføres ved hjælp af et perforeret transportbånd 2 gennem en station til pålægning af en folie. Folien, der aftages fra en magasinrulle 3, vist med 4, lægges ud på oversiden af mineraluldpladen og suges fast til denne ved hjælp af et vakuum i en 15 under transportbåndet placeret sugekasse 5. Over området med sugekassen er der placeret nogle Infrarøde strålingsgivere 6.
Folien er en plastfolie af termoplastisk formstof af en type, der ved afbrænding ikke udvikler væsent-20 lig røg og som ikke er flamme spred ende, f. eks. polyvinyl-klorid. Tykkelsen af folien afhænger af formålet, hvortil den beklædte mineraluld skal anvendes, men normalt er det ønskeligt at folien er tynd for ikke at tilføre store mængder organisk materiale til den iøvrigt i det 25 væsentlige uorganisk* mineraluldplade. En tykkelse sva- o rende til en specifik vagt af folien på 40 g/nt har vist sig anvendelig.
Mineraluldpladen kan vendes og påføres et tilsvarende lag på den modsatte sid* eller føres gennem et 30 tilsvarende arrangement, der blot er vendt op og ned.
Mineraluldens akustiske isoleringsevne forbedres ved, at folien ved fastsmeltningen i visse områder af ringe udstrækning omkring fibrene bliver perforeret og derved giver en akustisk isolering på samme måde som en per-35 foreret folie gør i akustiske isoleringslag. Perforeringen bevirker tillige at det er muligt at fastsuge og påsmelte folie på pladens modsatte side. En sådan dobbeltbeklædt plade udmærker sig i forhold til en ubeklædt plade ved en væsentlig større stivhed, langt mindre støvoptagelse- og 40 afgivelse og bekvemmere håndtering.

Efter pålægningen af folien kan mineraluldpladen udskæres til plader eller baner med normalt anvendt skæreudstyr.
