Description

Mineralullplate til termisk eller akustisk isolering.
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en mineralullplate til termisk eller akustisk isolering, forsynt med en i det vesentlige støvtett og til mineralullen klebet folie.
Mineralull utgjør på grunn av sitt lille innhold
av organisk materiale en meget anvendt brannhemmende isolering. Det organiske materiale i mineralullen er et bindemiddel som tjener til en innbyrdes sammenklebing av mineralullfibrene i deres krysningspunkter, og bindemiddelet øker mineralullens elastisitet og strekkstyrke. Til isoleringsformål, hvor den brannhemmende virkning er det primære formål for isoleringen, anvendes det fortrinnsvis en minerallull hvis innhold av bindemiddel er minimalt og hvor en bortbrenning av bindemiddelet ikke forårsaker vesentlig temperaturstigning i mineralullen. Dette medfører en tilsvarende reduksjon av mineralullens strekkstyrke, hvilket kan gjøre plater av en slik mineralull mere ømfintlige og derved mindre lette å håndtere, særlig under tilpasning og oppsetning. Por avhjelping av disse ulempene er det kjent å forsyne mineralullplatene med en støv-tett bekledning av metallfolie som er klebet til mineralullplaten. Ved anvendelse av et uorganisk klebemiddel unngås en økning av mengden av brennbart materiale.
Det kjente belegg har imidlertid den ulempe at det er forholdsvis kostbart i forhold til selve mineralullplaten, uten at den øker den brannhemmende virkning av mineralullen. Metallfolien endrer mineralullens akustiske isoleringsevne i negativ retning.
Formålet med foreliggende oppfinnelse er derfor å angi en foliebekledt mineralullplate som er like lett å håndtere som den kjente mineralfoliebekledte, men som er vesentlig billigere å fremstille og som ikke oppviser mindre brannhemmende isoleringsevne.
Dette formål oppnås ved at mineralullplaten erkarakterisert vedat folien er en tynn, brannhemmende plastfolie, og at folien er klebet til mineralullen ved fastsmelting.
Ved anvendelse av termoplastisk plastfolie kan folien ved oppvarming og samtidig fastsuging mot mineralullen brukes til ved delvis smelting å hefte til mineralullen. Der-r ved spares klebemiddel. På grunn av den lille tykkelsen som en folie har, gir en eventuell avbrenning ikke noe vesentlig bidrag til oppståelse av brann og nedsetter derfor ikke mineralullplatens brannhemmende virkning, som ved den kjente ut^forming ikke forbedres ved at folien er en metallfolie, fortrinnsvis av aluminium.
Mineralullplatens akustiske isoleringsevne forbedres ved at folien ved fastsmeltingen i visse områder med liten ut-strekning med fibrene er perforert og derved gir en akustisk isolering på samme måte som en perforert folie i akustisk is"oleringslag. Perforeringen bevirker samtidig at det er mulig å suge fast og smelte på en folie på platens motsatte side. Oppfinnelsen angår også en slik plate som i forhold til en ubekledt plate oppnår en vesentlig større stivhet, langt mindre støvopptagelse og støvavgiving og er enklere å håndtere.
Oppfinnelsen skal i det følgende forklares nærmere under henvisning til tegningen som viser et apparat til belegging av en mineralullplate med en termoplastisk folie.
En mineralullplate 1 fremføres ved hjelp av et perforert transportbånd 2 gjennom en stasjon til pålegging av en folie. Folien 4, som kommer fra en forrådsrulle 3 legges ut på oversiden av mineralullplaten og suges fast til denne ved hjelp av et vakuum i en under transportbåndet plassert suge-kasse 5. Over området med sugekassen er det plassert noen infrarøde strålegivere 6.
Folien 4 er en plastfolie av termoplastisk materiale av en type som ved brenning ikke utvikler vesentlig røk og som ikke er flammespredende, f.eks. polyvinylklorid. Tykkelsen av folien avhenger-av det formål som den belagte mineralullen skal benyttes, men normalt er det ønskelig at folien er tynn for ikke å tilføre store mengder organisk materiale til den forøvrig vesentlig uorganiske mineralullplaten. En tykkelse svarende til. en spesifikk vekt av folien på 40 g/m tiar vist seg hen-siktsmessig .
Mineralullplaten kan vendes og påføres et tilsvarende lag på den motsatte side, eller føres gjennom et tilsvarende arrangement som bare er vendt opp ned.
Etter påleggingen av folien kan mineralullplaten skjæres til plater eller baner ved normalt skjæreutstyr.

Claims (2)

1. Mineralullplate til termisk eller akustisk isolering med en i det vesentlige støvtett til mineralullen klebet folie, karakterisert ved at folien er en tynn, brannhemmende plastfolie, og at folien er klebet til mineralullen ved fastsmelting.
2. Mineralullplate ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at det på begge sider er klebet folie ved hjelp av fastsmelting.
