Es ist bekannt, daß durch metallorganische Verbindungen die Schmier eigenschaften und Reinigungswirkung
von Schmierölen in Maschinen, verbessert werden kann, wodurch die Maschinen während
des Betriebes sauber bleiben. Zu diesen Metallverbindungen gehören beispielsweise metallische
Verbindungen von Fettsäuren, Naphthensäuren, Sulfonsäuren, Alkoholen, Phenolen und Ketonen.
Diese Metallverbindungen können jedoch zu Korrosionen der Lagerlegierutigen, beispielsweise solcher
aus Cadmium-Silber und Kupfer-Blei, insbesondere hochtouriger Maschinen, bei denen hohe Temperaturen
auftreten, führen. Die für die Zwecke der Erfindung in Frage kommenden Zusätze können
nach dem Verfahren des Patents 858 248 hergestellt werden.
Die erfindungsgemäß verwendeten Zusatzmittel dagegen haben nicht nur die wünschenswerte Eigenschaft,
die Reinigung einer Maschine zu fördern, und die Stärke des Schmierfilms zu verbessern,
sondern auch ein Hängenbleiben der Ringe und die Bildung von Harzüberzügen auf den Kolben sowie
die korrodierende Wirkung des Öls zu verhindern. ■ Bevorzugte Zusatzmittel sind Verbindungen, die
durch Umsetzung von Schwefel und Phosphor mit Metallsalzen von hydroxy- und mercapto-substituierten
aromatischen Sulfiden erhalten werden können. Diese Verbindungen sollen in jedem aromatischen
Kern als Substituent mindestens eine Alkylgruppe mit mindestens 5 Kohlenstoffatomen enthalten.
Die Elemente Schwefel und Phosphor können in der Weise in das Metallsalzmolekül eingeführt sein,
daß man dieses mit elementarem Schwefel und Phosphor oder mit einem Phosphorsulfid zur
Reaktion bringt. Die Reaktion kann in der Regel
in einer Lösung von Schmieröl oder anderen Petroleumöl unter Gewinnung von Konzentraten durchgeführt
werden, die man bequem lagern oder verschiffen und Schmierölen, wenn erforderlich, zusetzen
kann.
Die Schwefel und Phosphor enthaltenden Verbindungen sind auch als oxydationsverhindernde
Mittel nützlich, wenn man sie Petroleumkohlenhwasserstoffein,
zusetzt, die keine Schmieröle sind. ίο Die Erfindung betrifft auch die Verwendung· von
Reaktionsprodukten von Phosphoarsulfiden oder
Phosphor- und Schwefelverbindungen, welche an Stelle von Sauerstoff oder Schwefel Selen und
Tellur enthalten, und ferner Verbindungen mit mehreren Benzolkernen.
Es wurden Petroleum-Kohlenwasserstoffe beschrieben, welche eine kleine Menge des Reaktionsproduktes aus Phosphor und Schwefel oder einem
Phosphorsulfid· und einer Verbindung der Formel
ArXMT
enthalten, in welcher Ar ein aromatischer oder ein substituierter aromatischer Kern, X ein Nichtmetall
der Gruppe VI des Periodischen Systems, M ein zweiwertiges Metall der Gruppe II des Periodischen
Systems und T die Gruppe — O H oder die Gruppe (OM)nXAr ist, in welcher M, X und Ar die
angegebene Bedeutung haben und η gleich 0,1
oder 2 iist.
Die bevorzugten Ausgangsstoffe dieser Zusatzmittel haben die allgemeine Formel (RArX)2M,
(R ist eine Alkylgruppe), beispielsweise die zweiwertigen Metallsalze alkylierter Phenole.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß man an Stelle der einfachen obenerwähnten aromatischen Verbindungen
die Metallsalze aromatischer Sulfide, Selenide oder Telluride als Zusatzmittel verwenden kann,
und daß in diesem Fall auch andere Metallverbindungen als die zweiwertigen der Gruppe II verwendet
werden können. Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung kleiner Mengen des Reaktionsproduktes
der Elemente Schwefel und Phosphor oder eines Phosphorsulfides mit einem Metallsalz einer Verbindung
der Formel
RAr(XH)-Y0-R1,
in welcher Ar ein aromatischer Kern, R Wasserstoff oder eine oder mehrere einwertige organische
Gruppen, vorzugsweise Alkyl, X ein Nichtmetall der Gruppe VI des Periodischen Systems, Y Schwefel,
Selen oder Tellur, a = 1, 2, 3 oder 4 und R1
eine einwertige organische Gruppe bedeutet, als Zusätze zu Mineralschmierölen, Benzinen, Dieselölen,
Kerosenen und Fetten.
Die GruppeR1 kann sein: ein Alkyl-, Aryl-,
Alkaryl- oder Aralkylrest, der durch Halogen, Nitro-, Amino-, HO-, Alkoxy-, Aroxy- oder Mercaptogruppen
substituiert sein kann.
Zweiwertige Metalle der Gruppe II sind bevorzugt, insbesondere Calcium, Barium, Strontium,
Magnesium und Zink; doch auch Zinn, Blei, Aluminium, Kobalt oder Nickel ergeben wertvolle Produkte.
Bevorzugt verwendet werden Metallsalze der allgemeinen Formel
R-Ar (XH)-Y0-Ar (XH)-R,
insbesondere Sulfide alkylierter Phenole.
Erfindungsgemäß werden die Reaktionsprodukte eines Phosphorsulfides oder einer Kombination der
Elemente Schwefel und Phosphor mit den folgenden Verbindungen verwendet: Barium-tert.-octyl-.
phenolsulfid, Barium di-tert.-amylphenolsulfid, CaI-ciumisohexadecylphenolsulfid,
Alkyliertes Salicylsäuresulfidzinnparaffinwachs, Magnesium tert.-amylphenolsulfid.
Die Zusatzmittel werden vorteilhafterweise mit Schmierölen in Konzentrationen von etwa 0,02 bis
5,0 Gewichtsprozent, vorzugsweise von 0,1 bis 2,0 Gewichtsprozent vermischt, jedoch können für
einige Zwecke auch größere Mengen Zusatzmittel verwendet werden. Die für die höchstmögliche
Verbesserung erforderliche Menge hängt bis zu einem gewissen Grad von dem jeweils verwendeten
Zusatzmittel, dar Natur des Schmieröls und den allgemeinen Arbeitsbedingungen, der Maschine ab,
in welcher das Schmieröl verwendet werden soll. Die angegebene Zusatzmenge ist auch wirksam,
wenn die Zusätze in Fettem und in Hochdruckschmiermitteln verwendet werden sollen, obwohl in
letztem Fall auch größere Mengen bis zu 20 Gewichtsprozent verwendet werden können..
Oft ist es zweckmäßig, Konzentrate der Zusätze in öl zu verwenden, die beispielsweise 25 bis 75 Ge^
wichtsprozent des wirksamen Zusatzmittels enthalten; das Konzentrat wird damn später dem
Schmieröl zugegeben, um eine Mischung mit dem gewünschten Gehalt an Zusatzmittel zu erhalten.
Wenn man also beispielsweise ein 40 Gewichtsprozentiges Konzentrat verwendet, können 2,5 Gewichtsprozent
dieses Konzentrats mit solchen Mengen Schmieröl gemischt werden, daß dieses ι Gewichtsprozent eines Zusatzmittels enthält.
Versuchsreihe I
Um die korrosionsverhütende Wirkung der nach
dem Patent 858 248 hergestellten Produkte zu prüfen, wurden sie in kleinen Mengen gut raffiniertem,
mittels eines Lösungsmittels extrahiertem, paraffinischem Mineralschmieröl SAE 20 zugegeben.
Mit Ausnahme einer Mischung enthielt jedes öl 0,625 Gewichtsprozent eines gemäß den Beispielen
des Patents 858248 hergestellten Zusatzkonzentrats, was ungefähr 0,25 Gewichtsprozent des eigentliehen
Zusatzmittels entspricht. Vom Produkt des Beispiels 10 des Patents 858 248 wurden nur
0,25 Gewichtsprozent mit dem öl vermischt, da dieses Produkt kein Zusatzkonzentrat, sondern ein
reines Zusatzmittel ist. Ein Vergleichsversuch wurde mit einer Probe eines unvermischten Öls
durchgeführt.
Die Versuche wurden wie folgt durchgeführt: 500 ecm des zu prüfenden Öls wurden in ein Oxydationsrohr
aus Glas (Länge 33,02 cm, Durchmesser 5,23 cm) gegeben, das am Boden, um die
Luftverteilung zu erleichtern, eine Bohrung von 0,63 cm für ein gelochtes Lufteinlaß rohr hatte. Das
Oxydationsrohr wurde in ein beheiztes Bad gegeben, um die Temperatur des Öls während des
Versuches auf 162,80°' zu halten. Zwei Teile von
Automobillagerni aus einer Kupfer-Blei-Legierung und bekanntem Gewicht, die eine Gesamtoberfläche
von 25 qcm hatten, wurden auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten einer Stange aus rostfreiem Stahl befestigt,
dann in ein Ölbad getaucht und mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 600 Umdr./min gedreht, so daß eine
genügende Bewegung der Muster während der Prüfung gegeben war. Durch das O1I wurde Luft
mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 56 1/Std. geblasen. Zur Verschärfung der Versuchsbedingungen wurden
die Lager nach jeweils 4 Stunden gewaschen und gewogen, dann poliert und wiederum, bevor der
Versuch für weitere 4 Stunden fortgeführt wurde, gewogen. Die Tabelle I zeigt den steigenden Gewichtsverlust
nach je 4 Stunden Versuchsdauer.

Versuchsreihe II
In einer weiteren Versuchsreihe wurde eine Schmierölmischung, die einen erfindungsgeniäßen
Zusatz hatte, und ein unverrnischtes Öl in einer i-Zylinder-C. F. R.-Maschine geprüft, die wie folgt
betrieben wurde: 1800 Umdr./min, Öltemperatur 129,5'°, Temperatur des Wassermantels 93,3°,
Betriebsdauer 55 Stunden, Nach jedem Versuch wurden die Maschinenteile geprüft und die hinsichtlich
Ablagerungen, Verfärbungen und gegebenenfalls auch Abnutzung während des Betriebes aufgetretenen
Schäden auf Grund einer Vergleichsskala

Aus der Tabelle kann ohne weiteres erkannt werden, daß das Öl durch den Zusatz des erfindungsgemäßen
Mittels wesentlich verbessert wurde.
Versuchsreihe III
Schmieröhnischunigen mit verschiedenen Zusätzen
wurden mit dem für den Versuch II benutzten öl hergestellt. Das zusatzfreie öl und jede der verschiedenen
Mischungen wurden in- einer Chevrolet-Maschine geprüft, welche 36 Stunden unter den
folgenden Bedingungen lief: 30 Bremspferdekräfte, 3150 Umdr./min, 137,8°'Öltemperatur, 93,3° Wassermanteltemperatur.
Um die korrodierende Wirkung jeder ölmischung zu messen, wurden zwei Kurbelstangen der Maschine
mit Kupferbleilagern ausgerüstet. Nach Beendigung jeder Prüfung wurden, die verschiedenen Teile der
mit den Werten ο bis 10 je nach der Stärke der Ablagerung, der Verfärbung und der Abnutzung
geschätzt. Die einzelnen Schätzungen der Schäden wurden je nach ihrer relativen Bedeutung bewertet
und aus ihnen eine Gesamtschätzung errechnet, die nachstehend unter der Bezeichnung »Aufgetretener
Schaden« zahlenmäßig angegeben ist. Je niedriger die für den aufgetretenen Schaden angegebene Zahl
ist, desto besser ist der Zustand der Maschine und folglich die Wirkung des Öls in der Maschine. Bei
diesen Versuchen war das Öl ein durch Lösungsmittel extrahiertes Mid-Continent-Paraffmöl mit
einer Viskosität von 1,490E; dem öl war eine
kleine Menge Polybuten zugegeben.
Die Ergebnisse dieser Versuche sind in der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführt.
Maschine geprüft und der aufgetretene Schaden, wie oben angegeben, festgestellt.
Die Ergebnisse dieser Prüfungen sind in der
Tabelle III dargestellt, aus der man erkennt, daß ein erfindungsgemäßes, durch Umsetzung eines
Metallalkylphenolsulfids mit einem Phosphorsulfid (Mischung 2) hergestelltes Reaktionsprodukt in
dieser Prüfung befriedigendere Ergebnisse ergab, als das Metallalkylphenolsulfid selbst (Mischung 1).
Man erkennt sogar, daß bessere Ergebnisse mit einer Ölmischung erzielt wurden, die sowohl ein
Metallsulfonat und ein erfmdungsgemäßes Zusatzmittel enthielt. Es sei ferner festgestellt, daß die
Fähigkeit des Zusatzmittels, Korrosionen zu verhüten, auf Grund von Prüfungen im praktischen
Maschinenbetrieb festgestellt wurde.

Versuchsreihe IV
Eine Reihe weiterer Maschinenversuche wurden in einer i-Cylinder-xCaterpillar«- (eingetragenes
Warenzeichen) Dieselmaschine durchgeführt; jeder Versuch lief über 126 Stunden unter den folgendem
Bedingungen: 19,8 Bremspferdekräfte, 1000 Umdr./niin, 71,i° Öltemperatur, 82,2° Wassermanteltemperatur.
Die untersuchten ölmischungen enthielten erfindungsgemäße Zusätze in einem
SÄE-3 o°-lösungsmittelextr ahier ten-Mid-Contiment-Schmieröl.
Die aufgetretenen Schäden wurden, wie bei der Versuchsreihe II beschrieben, geschätzt; die
diesen Schätzungen entsprechenden Werte sind in der Tabelle IV aufgeführt, aus welcher hervorgeht,
daß auch bei diesen Versuchen, für welche ein anderes öl und eine andere Maschine bei der
Prüfung benutzt wurde, eim Zusatzmittel vorliegender Erfindung (Mischung 2) eine größere Verbesserung
zur Folge hatte, als ein unbehandeltes Metallalkylphenolsulfid (Mischung 1), und daß überragende
Ergebnisse mittels einer Kombination aus einem Metallpetroleumsulfonat und einem Zusatzmittel
vorliegender Erfindung (Mischung 3) erzielt wurden.

Versuchsreihe V
Schmierölmischungen wurden in der Weise hergestellt, daß zu besonderen Teilen eines SAE-200-extrahierten-Mid-Continent-Öls2,5
Gewichtsprozent des gemäß den Beispielen 1 und 5 des Patents 858 248
hergestellten Zusatzkonzentrats zugegeben wurden. Jedes öl wurde auf Wasserempfindlichkeit geprüft,
d. h. auf die Neigung des Zusatzmittels, sich von dem Öl in Gegenwart des Wassers zu trennen.
Dieser Versuch wurde wie folgt ausgeführt: 600 ecm Ölmischung wurden mit 1 °/o Wasser mit Hilfe eines
von einem Motor angetriebenen Mischers der Ei-Schlag-Type emulgiert, wobei der Mischer mit
höchsten Touren 15 Minuten lief. Nach dem Rühren wurden 500 ecm der Emulsion in einen 500 ecm
Maßzylinder gegossen und 24 Stunden stehengelassen. Danach wurde die Menge der vom öl
abgeschiedenen Emulsionsschicht gemessen. Je kleiner die Menge der Abscheidung, desto besser
ist die Wasserfestigkeit des Zusatzmittels.
Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle V gezeigt.

Man erkennt ohne weiteres, daß das mit Phosphorsulfid
behandelte Metallalkylphenolsulfid wesentlich wasserfester als das unbehandelte, gegenüber
Wasser sehr empfindliche Metallalkylphenolsulfid ist.
Obwohl in den meisten Fällen die Zusatzmittel
der Erfindung schon allein Schmierölen wesentlich bessere Eigenschaften verleihen, können sehr oft
noch größere Verbesserungen dadurch erzielt werden, daß man die Zusatzmittel in Verbindung mit
anderen, der Reinigung dienenden Zusätzen verwendet, z.B. Metallseifen, Metallphenolatem, Metallalkoholaten,
Metallphenolsulfiden, Organometallphosphaten, Thiophosphaten, Phosphiten und Thiophosphiten,
Metallsulfonaten, Metallthiocarbamaten, Metallxanthaten und Thioxanthaten u. dgl.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Zusatzmittel können in Mineralschmierölen zusammen mit einem oder
mehreren der nachstehenden Verbindungstypen verwendet werden: Barium tert.-Octylphenolsulfid,
Kobalt tert.-amylphenolsulfid, Zinnsalz von mit
Paraffinwachs alkyliertem Phenolsulfid, Calciummahagonisulfonaten,
Bariummahagonisulfonaten, Strontiummahagonisulfonaten, Magnesiumniahagonisulfonaten,
Zinkmahagonisulfonaten, Magnesiumcetylphenolat, Calciumorthostearylphenolat, Calciumsalz des Kondensationsproduktes von Amylphenol
und Formaldehyd, Nickeloleat, Calciumdichlorostearat, Mischsalz der Aluminiumcalciumseife
von Fettsäuren aus der Oxydation von Petroleumfraktionen, Calciumisohexadecylphenolsulfonat,
Bariumoctadecylat, Calciumphenylstearat, Nickeldi'butyldithiocarbamat,
Nickelamylxanthat, Bariumdioctyldithiophosphat,
Zinkmethylcyclohexyldithiophosphat, Calciumdihexadecylmonothiophosphit, Zink tert.-octylphenolsulfidthiophosphat, Calciumcetylphosphat,
Magnesiumlaurylsalicylat, Zinkdiisopropylsalicylat, Zinnaphthenat, Aluminiumnaphthenat,
Di-Calcium-Octadecylphenolsulfonat, Barium-Zink-Phenolsalz
der Isohexadecylphenolsulfonsäure, Calcium-Barium-Phenol-Carboxylsalz der Octadecylsalicylsäure.
Besonders vorteilhaft ist, wie bereits die aufgeführten Versuche erkennen lassen, die Verwendung
der erfindungsgemäßen Zusätze in Verbindung mit Metallsalzen, der Mahagonisulfonsäuren. Solche
Mischungen sind nicht nur gute Detergents, sondern auch Rostschutzmittel. Ein SAE-ioo'~Schmieröl,
welches 1,5 Gewichtsprozenit Calciummahagonisulfonate und 0,85 Gewichtsprozent des Reaktionsproduktes aus Barium tert.-octylphenolsulfid, hergestellt
gemäß Beispiel 1 des Patents 858 248, und P2S5 (molares. Verhältnis von P2S5 zu Phenolsulfidsalz
= 0,4 : 1) enthielt, erwies sich als ein gutes Rostschutzmittel. Mit Sandgebläse behandelte
Tafeln wurden in diese Ölmischung1 getaucht, das überschüssige öl abtropfen gelassen, und die mit
Öl überzogenen Tafeln sowohl der Prüfung in einem feuchten Raum wie auch einer Prüfung durch Eintauchen
in Salzwasser unterworfen. Die mit der vorgenannten Ölmischung überzogenen Tafeln blieben
200 Stunden: in dem feuchten Raum (100 %
Feuchtigkeit bei 37,8°) ohne zu rosten. Andere in xoo gleicher Weise mit der Ölmischung überzogene
Tafeln wurden im künstlichen Seewasser (in einer wäßrigen Lösung, welche NaCl, MgCl2 und CaCl2
und Na2SO4 enthielt) 20 Stunden getaucht, ohne
zu rosten.
Als Schmieröle kommen in Frage: reine Mineralschmieröle
oder solche, die durch Destillation von Paraffin;, Naphthen, Asphalt oder Mischungen dieser
Rohstoffe erhalten sind, oder gegebenenfalls verschiedene Ölmischungen sowie Rückstände, insbesondere
solche, aus welchen die asphaltischen Bestandteile sorgfältig entfernt worden sind. Die
Öle können auf bekanntem Wege raffiniert sein, beispielsweise mit Hilfe von Säuren, Alkali und/oder
Ton oder anderen Mitteln, wie z. B. Aluminiumchlorid, oder es kann sich um extrahierte Ölprodukte
handeln, beispielsweise solche, die durch ein Lösungsmittel, wie Phenol, Schwefeldioxyd, Furfurol,
Dichloräthyläther, Nitrobenzol, Crotonaldehyd, extrahiert worden sind.
Da die erfindungsgemäßen Zusatzmittel auch minderwertigen Mineralölen oder anderen Ölen zugesetzt
werden können, kann keine genaue Regel für die Wahl des Ausgangsöls gegeben werden.
Gewisse Bedingungen müssen selbstverständlich beachtet werden. Das Öl muß die für seinen Ver-
wendungszweck erforderliche Viskosität und Flüchtigkeit
aufweisen. Das Öl muß das Zusatzmittel gut lösen, jedoch können auch1 in einigen Fällen
besondere Lösungsmittel zu Hilfe genommen werden. Die Schmieröle können, wie sie auch hergestellt
sein mögen, hinsichtlich Viskosität und anderer Eigenschaften je nach dem für sie vorgesehenen
Verwendungszweck weitgehend voneinander abweichen; in der Regel haben sie jedoch
ίο eine Viskosität von 1,34 bis 4,301E. Zur Schmierung
von Dieselmaschinen mit einer niedrigen oder mittleren Tourenzahl pflegt man häufig ein
Schmieröl zu verwenden, das aus naphthenischen oder aromatischen Rohmischungen; hergestellt und
eine Viskosität von 1,46 bis 2,292'01E und einen
Viskositätsindex von ο bis 50 hat. Für gewisse hochtourige Dieselmaschinen, Flugzeugmotoren und
andere Benzinmotoren werden oft die Öle mit einem höheren Viskositätsindex bevorzugt, der beispielsweise
zwischen 75 bis 100 oder sogar noch höher liegt.
Neben den ernndutigsgemäßen Stoffen können
aber auch andere Mittel Verwendung finden, beispielsweise Farbstoffe, durch Wärme eingedickte
fette Öle, geschwefelte Fettöle, metallorganische Verbindungen, metallische Seifen oder andere
Seifen, Schlammverteiler, Antioxydantien, Verdickungsmittel, die Viskosität, den Index und die
Ölbeschaffenheit verbessernde Mittel, Harze, Kautschuk, mit Voltol versetzte Fettöle oder Fette,
Mineralöle und/oder Wachse und Kolloide, wie Graphit oder Zinkoxyd usw. Weitere Beispiele
solcher Mittel sind Phenylalphanaphthylamin, mit Voltol versetztes Walratöl, 2, o-Di-tert.-butyl^-methylphenol,
mit Schwefel behandeltes Walratöl, p-tert.-Amylphenolsulfi.de, Dibenzyldisulfid, Polyisobutylen,
mit Schwefel behandelte Paraffinwachsolefine, Trikresylphosphat, Diamyltrisulfid, und das
Kondensationsprodukt von Phenol mit einem Reaktionsprodukt aus Schwefelchlorid und Diisobutylen.
Als Lösungsmittel können Ester, Ketone, Alkohole, Aldehyde, halogenierte oder nitrierte
Verbindungen verwendet werden, vorteilhaft höhere Alkohole mit 8 oder mehr Kohlenstoffatomen, insbesondere
mit je> bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen. Es können aliphatische gesättigte Alkohole mit geraden
und verzweigten Ketten, wie beispielsweise Octylalkohol (C8H17OH), Laurylalkohol (C12H25OH),
Cerylalkohol (C16H33OH), Stearylalkohol, Octadecylalkohol
(C18H37OH), Heptadecylalkohol
(C17H35OH), die entsprechenden Olefinalkohole,
wie Oleylalkohol, ringförmige Alkohole, wie Naphthenalkohole, und arylsubstituierte Alkylalkohole,
z. B. Phenyloctylalkohol, oder Octadecylbenzylalkohol oder Mischungen der genannten Alkohole,
oder gemischte, natürlich vorkommende Alkohole verwendet werden, wie sie beispielsweise im Wollfett
und im Walratöl enthalten sind, wobei die Alkohole entweder isoliert werden oder das WoIlfett,
Walratöl oder andere alkoholhaltige Naturprodukte direkt verwendet werden. Es können auch
synthetisch, beispielsweise durch die Oxydation von Petroleumkohlenwasserstoffen, wie Paraffinwachs,
Petrolat usw., hergestellte Alkohole Verwendung finden. 6g
Diese weiteren Zusatzmittel unterstützen die Detergentwirkung der erfindungsgemäß verwendeten
Zusätze.
Die Zusätze werden erfindungsgemäß für Kurbelwellengehäuseschmieröle,
Hochdruckschmieröle, Spülöle für Maschinen, Industrieöle, Maschinenöle, Schmiermittel und Fette verwendet. Ferner kommt
ihre Verwendung für Motorbrennstoff, Dieselforennstoffe und Leuchtpetroleum in Frage. Insbesondere
sei ihre Verwendung in Motorbrennstoffen erwähnt, die Tetraäthylblei oder andere Antiklopfmittel enthalten.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Zusätze dienen nicht nur als Antioxydationsmittel für den Brennstoff,
sondern als Stabilisatoren für das Antiklopfmittel selbst.
Claims (15)
- PATENTANSPRÜCHE:ι. Verwendung der nach Patent 858 248 erhaltenen Verbindungen als Zusatzmittel zu Mineralschmierölen, Benzinen, Dieselölen, Kerosenen und Fetten.
- 2. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 1, go in welchen R eine Alkylgruppe, vorzugsweise mit verzweigter Kette ist.
- 3. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, in welchem R' bedeutet: Alkyl, Aryl, Ar alkyl, Alkaryl oder einen Rest —Ar (XH) —R mit oder ohne substituierende Atome oder Gruppen, wie Halogen, Nitro-, Amino-, Oxy-, Alkoxy-, Aroxy- oder Mercaptogruppen.
- 4. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach den Ansprüchen ι bis 3, bei welchen das Metallsalz ein Salz eines, zweiwertigen Metalls der Gruppe II des Periodischetii Systems, vorzugsweise Calcium, Barium, Strontium, Magnesium oder Zink ist.
- 5. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach den An- Ί05 Sprüchen 1 bis 4, bei welchen das Metallsalz ein Salz der Metalle Zinn, Blei, Aluminium, Kobalt oder Nickel ist.
- 6. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach den Ansprüchen ι bis S, bei welchen Ar ein Benzolkern und X Sauerstoff bedeutet.
- 7. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach den Ansprüchen ι bis 6, bei welchen die Gesamtzahl der inj der Alkylgruppe oder Gruppen R, welche an den aromatischen Kern Ar gebunden sind, enthaltenen Kohlenstoff atome zwischen 5 und 25 liegt.
- 8. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 1, die als Zusatzmittel ein alkyliertes Phenolsulfid enthalten.
- 9. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 8, die als alkyliertes Phenolsulfid eine der folgenden Verbindungen enthalten: Barium tert.-octylphenolsulfid, Barium tert.-amylphenolsulfid, CaI-ciumisohexadecylphenolsulfid, alkyliertes salicylsaures Sulfidzinnparaffinwachs, Magnesium tert,-amylphenoJsulfid, Calcium terk-octylphenolsulfid, Kobalt tert.-amylphenolsulfid oder Mischcalciumbarium tert.-octylphenolsulfid.
- 10. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 8, bei welchen das Sulfid ein Thioäther, Disulfid oder Polysulfid ist.
- 11. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 8, bei welchen das Metall ein zweiwertiges Metall der Gruppe II ist.
- 12. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 8, bei welchen die Alkylgruppe ist: η-Butyl, Isobutyl, tert.-Butyl, n-Amyl, Isoamyl, Cyclohexyl, n-Octyl, Isooctyl, tert.-Octyl, Do-decyl, Octadecyl, Paraffinwachskette oder Cbis C24 verzweigte Kettenradikale.
- 13. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 8 in einer Menge von 0,02 bis 5,0 Gewichtsprozent, vorzugsweise von 0,1 bis 2,0 Gewichtsprozent.
- 14. Verwendung von Zusätzen nach Anspruch 8 in einer Menge bis zu 20 Gewichtsprozent für Hochdruckschmieröle.
- 15. Ausführungsform der Erfindung nach Anspruch 8, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung eines 25 bis 75 gewichtsprozentigen Konzentrats.© 9595 2.55
