RICHARD VINE TUSON in ERITH (England). Schwefelige Säure abgebende Desinfectionsmittel in fester und flüssiger Form.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 8. Juli 1879 ab.
Das pulverförmige Desinfectionsmittel wird '■-durch Mischen eines schwefligsauren, zweifach
schwefligsauren oder unterschwefligsauren Salzes mit einem salzsauren, schwefelsauren, salpetersauren
oder essigsauren Eisen-, Mangan- oder Aluminiumsalz erhalten. Die Bestandteile werden
einzeln getrocknet und dann in bestimmtem Verhältnifs gemischt.
Ich ziehe eine Mischung von gleichen Theilen von schwefligsaurem Kalk und Eisenchlorid vor.
Um das Pulver zu conserviren, mufs es unter Luftabschlufs aufbewahrt werden. Wird es
der Atmosphäre ausgesetzt, so entwickelt sich schweflige Säure, welche als starkes Desinfectionsmittel
wirkt.
Das flüssige Desinfectionsmittel wird dadurch hergestellt, dafs man in eine Lösung von irgend
einem salzsauren, schwefelsauren, salpetersauren oder essigsauren Zink-, Eisen-, Mangan-, Aluminium-
oder Kupfersalz oder einer Mischung dieser Salze in Wasser, Glycerin, Weingeist,
Holzessig, Methylalkohol oder Fuselöl bezw. in einer Mischung dieser Flüssigkeiten schweflige
Säure bis zur Sättigung einleitet.

- Patent-Anspruch:Desinfectionsmittel, welche schweflige Säure abgeben, von vorstehend beschriebener Zusammensetzung in fester und flüssiger Form.
