Description
- Verfahren zur Herstellung von Steifstoffen für die Bekleidungsindustrie Textile Steifstofte, wie Gaze, Steifleinen, Steiffüllwatten u. dgl., werden hergestellt unter Verwendung organischer Klebstoffe oder mitunter auch Wasserglas. Die ersteren haben den Nachteil, nicht fäufnis- und schimmelbeständig und dem Befall durch biologische Schädlinge ausgesetzt zu sein, die letzteren den Nachteil, spröde, brüchig und ohne dauernde Steifheit zu sein.
- Das erfi -dutlgsgeinäße #*erfa.hren beseitigt die erwähnten Nachteile und führt zu hervorragendem SteifmaterJal für die Bekleidungsindustrie. Erfin, dungsgemä ß werden die zu Steifmaterial bestimmten Gewebe, notfalls auch Papier oder Papiergewebe mit dem Bach dem Verfahren gemäß Patent 83367i gewonnenen Bindemittel getränkt oder bestrichen. Dieses 13in,dernittel wird derart hergestellt, daß Kieselsäuren,, wie sie aus erhitztem Wasse:rglas durch Einführung von Phenolen: oder deren alkalischen Laugen in Mischjung mit ein- oder mehrwertigen Alkoholen erhalten wurden, gelöstem Silicat unter Erwärmen zugesetzt werden. Das schnell trocknende Bindemittel führt zu feuerbeständigen, nach Belieben steifen Geweben von hervorragender Datierheftigkeit.

- PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung von Steifstoffen für diie Bekleidungsindustrie, dadurch geke:ninzejich,net, daß Textilgewebe, Papier od. dgl. Material mit dem nach dem Verfahren gemäß Patent 833 671 hergestellten Bindemittel ein oder mehrere Male imprägniert werden.
