Process for the production of water-insoluble monoazo dyes By adding resinous or solid fatty acids to water-insoluble monoazo acids from acetoacetic acid arylides, a finer distribution of the pigments and thus greater transparency of the dyes is achieved according to patent specification 427 870. According to British patent specification 445 705, this greater transparency is achieved by coupling diazotized 1-amino-2-nitro-4-methylb: e, zol with aaetoacetylamino-benzene in the presence of calcium or b: arium resenate in such Amount carries out that the final color material, lff 20 'to 35% resinate.
Aluminiumhydroxyd darstellt. It has now been found that there is an increase in the transparency of the dyes
achieved if aluminum resinate is used instead of the resin or the alkaline earth metal resinate
used. The use of aluminum resinate thus becomes an important technical one
Progress aims. The dyes can be prepared in such a way that the acetoacetic acid arylide solution
a separately prepared slurry of aluminum resinate prior to the start of coupling
adds or lets it run in at the same time as the diazo solution - but you can also
on the other hand, proceed in such a way that, first of all, to the alkaline acetic acid solution
the solution of a soluble resin soap is added, then an aluminum solution is added,
acidified to a weakly acidic reaction and then the coupling takes place. Of course
you can also make the coupling in the presence of a pigment carrier, for. B. one
transparent printing white, which is clearly translucent in an oil-based binder

sch@vefelsaurer Tonerde
(mit 22% Al #03) in 4oo Raumteilen Wasser und 5o Raumteilen Natronlauge von 40°
B6 hinzu, gibt weiterhin 7o Gewichtsteile essigsauxes Natrium in 35o Raumteilen
5 an.
zol, 8o Raumteilen. Salzsäure von 20° B6, 5oo Raumteilen Wasser und 17,3
Gewichtsteilen Natriumnitrit hergestellt wurde. Nach dem Auskuppeln wird der Farbstoff
abgesaugt, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet. Man .erhält so 117 Gewichtsteile
Farbstoff.
Beispiel 2 53 Gewichtsteile i
A.cetoacetylamino-2-chlorbenzol werden in -i 3oo Raumteilen Wasser und 25 Raumteilen
Man erhält so i i o Gewichtsteile' Farbstoff.
27 Gewichtsteile transparentes Druckweiß hinzu und beginnt dann .erst mit der Kupplung.EXAMPLE 1 44 parts by weight of aoetoacetylaminobenzene are dissolved in 1300 spatial axes of water with 20 parts by volume of sodium hydroxide solution at - 40 ° Bd. The solution is added to a solution of 27 parts by weight of rosin in 50 parts by volume of water and 20 parts by volume of sodium hydroxide solution at 40 ° B6. Before the start of the coupling, a solution of 27 parts by weight of sch @ vefelsaurer clay (with 22% Al # 03) in 400 parts by volume of water and 50 parts by volume of sodium hydroxide solution at 40 ° B6 is added, and 7o parts by weight of acetic sodium in 35o parts by volume of water are added and acidifies with 50% acetic acid up to a pH value of approx. 6 to 5. The following is then added: a diazo solution consisting of 39.5 parts by weight of i amino-2-nitro-4-methylbenzene, 80 parts by volume. Hydrochloric acid of 20 ° B6, 500 parts by volume of water and 17.3 parts by weight of sodium nitrite was prepared. After uncoupling, the dye is filtered off with suction, washed with water and dried. 117 parts by weight of dye are obtained in this way. Instead of an alkaline solution of alumina sulfuric acid, a solution of sodium aluminate can also be used. Example 2 53 parts by weight of acetoacetylamino-2-chlorobenzene are dissolved in 300 parts by volume of water and 25 parts by volume of 40 ° B6 sodium hydroxide solution. A solution of 30 parts by weight of rosin in 500 parts by volume of water and 22 parts by volume of sodium hydroxide solution 40 ° B6 is added to the solution. After adding a solution of 15 parts by weight of sulfuric alumina (with 22% Al. 03) in zoo parts by volume of water and 25 parts by volume of sodium hydroxide solution at 40 ° Be, 70 parts by weight of sodium acetic acid in 35% of water are added and acidified with 500% acetic acid up to a pH of 6 to 5. A diazo solution prepared from 43.5 parts by weight of i-amino-2-chloro-1-nitrobenzene, 85 parts by volume of hydrochloric acid at 25 ° B6, 500 parts by volume of water and 17.3 parts by weight of sodium nitrite is then added. After uncoupling, the dye is filtered off with suction, washed with water and dried. This gives iio parts by weight of dye. Example 3 The procedure is as in Example i, but after acidification with acetic acid, 27 parts by weight of transparent printing white are added and the coupling then begins.
