Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft chirurgische Nadeln, die aus Legierungen hergestellt sind, die ein Formgedächtnis aufweisen, und Verfahren zur Verwendung solcher chirurgischen Nadeln.
- Formgedächtnis, wie der Name impliziert, bezieht sich auf die Eigenschaft bestimmter Metallef daß, wenn die Metalle verformt werden, sie einfach durch Erwärmen wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Form gebracht werden können. Metallegierungen, die diesen sog. "Memory-Effekt" zeigen, sind seit Jahrzehnten bekannt. Obwohl diese Materialien anfangs überwiegend im militärischen Bereich verwendet wurden, sind die Legierungen in letzter Zeit für eine Vielzahl von Verwendungen, einschließlich medizinischer, verwendet worden.
- Obwohl eine Anzahl von Legierungen den Memory-Effekt zeigen, haben NiTi-Legierungen (als Nitinollegierungen bezeichnet) die größte Verwendung gefunden. Legierungen, die ungefähr 50 (Atom-)Prozent Ni und 50 Prozent Titan aufweisen, haben besonders breite Verwendung gefunden.
- In dem US-Patent 4,170,990, erteilt 16 Oktober 1979 für Baumgart et al., ist ein Verfahren zum Implantieren eines mechanischen Verbindungselements, das aus einer Legierung mit Formgedächtnis hergestellt ist, in lebendes Gewebe und schließlich das Entfernen der Elemente beschrieben. Vor der Implantation wird dern Element bei einer hohen Temperatur ein Formgedächtnis verliehen, dann wird es abgekühlt und für das Einbringen verformt. Nach der Implantation wird das Element über eine bestimmte Temperatur erwärmt, um es zu veranlassen, die Form anzunehmen, die es vor der plastischen Verformung hatte. Wenn das Element entfernt werden soll, wird es abgekühlt und wieder in die Form gebracht, die es für das Einbringen hatte.
- In dem US-Patent 4,425,908, erteilt 17. Januar 1984 für Simon, ist ein Blutgerinnselfilter aus Nitinol beschrieben, der in seiner Niedrig-Temperatur-Phase gerade gemacht bzw. gestreckt und durch ein Röhrchen oder Katheter geführt werden kann, während er kühl gehalten wird. Wenn er seinen Bestimmungsort in dem Körper erreicht (z. B. die Vena Cava), wird das Element in seinen Hoch-Temperatur-Zustand umgewandelt und nimmt eine gespeicherte Filterform an.
- In dem US-Patent 4,485,816, erteilt 4. Dezember 1984 für Krumme, ist eine chirurgische Klammer mit Formgedächtnis beschrieben. Der Klammer wird zuerst bei einer erhöhten Temperatur eine gewünschte geschlossene Form verliehen. Sie wird dann abgekühlt und in eine offene Position verformt. Die offene Klammer wird dann so positioniert, daß sie sich zwischen Gewebeteilen, die miteinander verbunden werden sollen, erstreckt und mit diesen in Kontakt ist. Beim Erwärmen der Klammer nimmt sie ihre gespeicherte (geschlossene) Form an und durchdringt und verbindet das Gewebe.
- In dem US-Patent 4,926,860, erteilt 22. Mai 1990 für Stice et al., ist ein Arthroskopie-Instrument beschrieben, die sich die "Superelastizität" zunutze macht, die Legierungen mit Formgedächtnis inhärent ist. Superelastizität (oder "Pseudoelastizität") beschreibt die Eigenschaft von Legierungen mit Formgedächtnis, daß sie beim Entlasten nach einer wesentlichen Verformung in ihre ursprüngliche Form zurückkehren. Die Vorrichtung kann eine Kanüle mit einem gebogenen Lumen und eine flexible Sonde aus einer Legierung mit Formgedächtnis umfassen. Die gebogene Kanüle wird so in den Körper eingeführt, daß sich ihr distales Ende an einer operativen Eingriffsstelle befindet. Der Sonde wird in dern austenitischen Zustand oder dem kaltgearbeiteten martensitischen Zustand eine gerade bzw. gestreckte Form verliehen. Wenn sie durch die Kanüle geschoben wird, biegt sich die Sonde elastisch, wenn sie jedoch aus dem distalen Ende heraustritt, nimmt sie wieder ihre gerade Form an. Die Vorrichtung ermöglicht es einer geraden Sonde, eine entfernte operative Eingriffsstelle zu erreichen, die sonst für die Sonde unzugänglich sein könnte. Die Sonde kann ein Paar SME-Nadeln umfassen, die an ihren proximalen Enden an gegenüberliegenden Enden eines Nahtmaterials befestigt sind. Eine ähnliche Technologie wird in dem US-Patent 4,984,581, erteilt 15. Januar 1991 für Stice, beschrieben.
- In dem US-Patent 5,002,563, erteilt 26. März 1991 für Pyka et al., sind die Merkmale der Präambel von Anspruch 1 beschrieben. Letzterer beschreibt Nahtmaterialien, bei denen Legierungen mit Formgedächtnis verwendet werden. Den Nahtmaterialien wird bei einer erhöhten Temperatur eine Schlingenform verliehen, dann werden sie abgekühlt und verformt (gerade gemacht bzw. gestreckt), um das Einführen in Gewebe zu erleichtern. Nachdem das Nahtinaterial angebracht ist, wird es erwärmt oder auf andere Weise in seine Hoch-Temperatur-(Schlingen-)Form umgewandelt. Obwohl das Nahtmaterial zum Einführen im allgemeinen an einer Nadel befestigt ist, kann es alternativ zugespitzt werden, um die Verwendung einer Nadel überflüssig zu machen. Diese Technik setzt voraus, daß die Legierung zugespitzt werden kann und in ihrem Niedrig- Temperatur-Zustand Gewebe durchdringen kann.
- Die chirurgische Nadel, wie sie in Anspruch 1 beschrieben ist, umfaßt eine Legierung mit Formgedächtnis, die einen ersten Zustand niedriger Temderatur und einen zweiten Zustand hoher Temperatur aufweist, wobei die Nadel
- (a) in ihrem Niedrig-Temperatur-Zustand zu einer länglichen Form formbar ist, die einen Durchtritt durch ein längliches Röhrchen erlaubt, und
- (b) in ihrem Hoch-Temperatur-Zustand
- (i) einen vorbestimmten Bogen bildet und
- (ii) zur Verwendung als eine chirurgische Nadel geeignet ist.
- Die Nadel ist insbesondere adaptiert für endoskopische und andere chirurgische Verfahren, bei denen Elemente durch eine Kanüle bzw. einen Schaft, die ein enges Lumen aufweisen, durch die eine gewöhnliche gebogene, starre Nadel der Art, die an der Eingriffsstelle benötigt oder gewünscht wird, nicht hindurchgeleitet werden könnte, an die chirurgische Eingriffsstelle geleitet werden.
- Zur Verwendung in diesen Verfahren umfaßt ein Verfahren zum Einführen einer gebogenen Nadel an eine chirurgische Eingriffsstelle in einem Patienten die Schritte:
- (a) Einführen einer Kanüle in den Patienten, die den Zugang an die chirurgische Eingriffsstelle am Patienten von außen ermöglicht,
- (b) Bereitstellen einer Nadel aus einer Metallegierung mit Formgedächtnis, die, nachdem sie in eine Bogenform geformt und bei einer erhöhten Temperatur getempert worden ist, in eine längliche Form geformt worden ist, während sie in einem ersten Zustand niedriger Temperatur war,
- (c) Hindurchleiten der länglichen Nadel durch die Kanüle und
- (d) Erwärmen der Nadel auf eine Temperatur, bei der die Legierung in einen zweiten Zustand hoher Temperatur umgewandelt bzw. gebracht wird, wodurch die Nadel veranlaßt wird, wieder in ihre Bogenform zurückzukehren.
- Der Bequemlichkeit halber bezeichnen wir in dieser Beschreibung und den beigefügten Ansprüchen die gebogene Nadel als in der Form eines Bogens vorliegend, obwohl es klar ersichtlich ist, daß die Nadel jede gewünschte "gespeicherte" Form haben könnte.
- Fig. 1 stellt eine Hysteresekurve für eine martensitische Umwandlung in einer Legierung mit Formgedächtnis dar.
- Fig. 1A stellt eine Spannungs-Verformungs-Kurve für die Verformung und wärmeinduzierte Rückkehr in den alten Zustand einer Legierung mit Formgedächtnis dar.
- Fig. 2 stellt eine erfindungsgemäße Nadel in einem Querschnitt einer Kanüle dar.
- Fig. 3 ist eine perspektivische Ansicht einer erfindungsgemäßen Nadel und der Vorrichtung, die verwendet wird, um sie zu einer chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle zu bringen.
- Fig. 4 ist eine schematische Darstellung einer erfindungsgemäßen Nadel, die mittels einer Heizvorrichtung gebogen wird.
- Fig. 5 stellt eine erfindungsgemäße Nadel dar, die durch einen Querschnitt einer Kanüle zurückgezogen wird.
- In den letzten Jahren ist sehr stark auf die Kostendämpfung in Krankenhäusern und auf medizinischem Gebiet geachtet worden. Auf dem Gebiet der Chirurgie bieten weniger invasive Verfahren eine Gelegenheit, nicht nur Kosten zu reduzieren, sondern auch Traumata beim Patienten zu verringern und die Genesung zu beschleunigen. Eine Technik, die in den letzten Jahren entwickelt worden ist, um das Ausmaß des Eingriffes von chirurgischen Verfahren zu verringern, ist die endoskopische Chirurgie.
- Die endoskopische Chirurgie umfaßt die Verwendung eines Endoskops, eines Instruments, das es einem Chirurgen ermöglicht, jede beliebige Körperhöhle visuell genau zu untörsuchen. Das Endoskop wird durch ein Röhrchen, das üblicherweise als Kanüle bezeichnet wird, eingeführt, nachdem eine Öffnung in das weiche Gewebe gestochen wurde, das die Körperhöhle schützt. Die Öffnung wird mit einem Trokar, einem Instrument mit einer scharfen Spitze, gemacht. Der Trokar umfaßt einen Obturator, oder Schneidgerät, der in einer Trokarkanüle gleitet. Mit dem Obturator wird zuerst eine Öffnung in das Gewebe gestochen, die etwa die gleiche Größe aufweist wie der innere Durchmesser der Kanüle. Der Obturator wird dann aus der Kanüle zurückgezogen. Oft werden auf diese Weise zwei oder mehr Kanülen eingeführt, je nach dem durchzuführenden Verfahren. Jede Kanüle ermöglicht einen Zugang zu der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle für eine oder mehrere Funktionen, z. B. Beleuchtung, Visualisierung, Einführen chirurgischer Geräte, usw. Der Chirurg kann dann an der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle diagnostische und therapeutische Verfahren unter Verwendung von Vorrichtungen durchführen, die so ausgelegt sind, daß sie durch die Kanüle(n) passen.
- Vom Standpunkt aus, das Trauma beim Patienten möglichst gering zu halten ist es ganz offensichtlich wünschenswert, sowohl die Anzahl als auch den Durchmesser der Kanülen, die in den Patienten eingeführt werden, zu minimieren. Wenn das Verfahren einen chirurgischen Eingriff umfaßt, ist es im allgemeinen notwendig, Gewebe an der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle miteinander zu verbinden. Diese Notwendigkeit hat zu einem Problem geführt. Da die bevorzugten chirurgischen Nadeln die Form eines Bogens aufweisen, der typischerweise im Bereich von 114 bis 518 eines Kreises liegt (d. h. ein Bogen, dessen Innenwinkel im Bereich von etwa 90º bis 225º liegt), können die bevorzugten chirurgischen Nadeln nicht durch die bevorzugten (d. h. engen) Kanülen an die chirurgische Eingriffsstelle geleitet werden.
- Es ist nun festgestellt worden, daß der Memory-Effekt (SME) den Weg zu einer Lösung des Problems bietet. Der SME beruht auf einer Phasenänderung, die in bestimmten Legierungen stattfindet; d. h. Legierungen mit Formgedächtnis (SMAs), wenn sie über ihre charakteristische Umwandlungstemperatur hinweg abgekühlt oder erwärmt werden. Die am besten bekannten SMAs sind NiTi-(Nitinol-)Legierungen, in denen die Phasenänderung von einer geordneten kubischen Kristallform über ihrer Umwandlungstemperatur (TTR) zu einer monoklinen Kristallphase unterhalb der TTR stattfindet. Die Umwandlung ist bekannt als eine martensitische Umwandlung zwischen einer "austenitischen" Form bei hoher Temperatur und einer "martensitischen" Form bei niedriger Temperatur. Für eine gegebene Legierungszusammensetzung in einem gegebenen getemperten Zustand findet die Umwandlung bei einer vorhersagbaren, wiederholbaren Temperatur statt. Die Umwandlung findet statt, wenn die Legierung in einer Phase eine Temperatur erreichl, bei der die andere Phase thermodynamisch stabiler ist. Da die Änderung durch eine Scherbewegung der obigen stattfindet, und nicht durch einen Diffusionsmechanismus, findet die Umwandlung praktisch sofort statt.
- Es ist zu beachten, daß bequemerweise auf eine einzige TTR verwiesen wird, bei der die Phasenumwandlung stattfindet. Genauer gesagt wird eine Legierung über einen engen Temperaturbereich martensitisch, wenn sie über die TTR hinweg gekühlt wird, und wird über einen engen, und geringfügig höheren Temperaturbereich austenitisch, wenn sie über die TTR hinweg erwärmt wird.
- Eine Kurve (Hysteresekurve), die dieses Verhalten darstellt, ist als Fig. 1 gezeigt. Beim Erwärmen der Legierung beginnt die Umwandlung zu der austenitischen Phase bei hoher Temperatur bei As und ist bei Af vollständig. Beim nachfolgenden Abkühlen beginnt die martensitische Umwandlung der Legierung bei Ms und ist bei Mf vollständig. Um in der Legierung eine Form zu induzieren, die gespeichert wird, muß die Legierung trainiert werden, indem sie in die gewünschte Form gezwungen wird und auf eine Temperatur deutlich oberhalb Af erwärmt wird.
- Ein anderer Weg, das Verhalten von SMAs darzustellen, verwendet die Spannungs/Verformungs-Kurve von Fig. 1A. Beginnend mit der Legierung in ihrer gespeicherten Form und martensitischen Phase beim Ursprung "O", wird die Legierung entlang des Wegs O-A verformt. Wenn die Verformung vollständig ist (d. h. die Spannung weggenommen), entspannt sich die Legierung geringfügig entlang der Kurve A-B. Erwärmen der Legierung zu der austenitischen Phase bringt sie entlang der Kurve B-C (nahezu) in ihre ursprüngliche Form zurück.
- Die Verwendung von SMAs für chirurgische Nadeln ist wie folgt. Eine chirurgische Nadel wird aus einer SMA in der gewünschten "Bogen"-Form hergestellt. Der in dieser Beschreibung und den beigefügten Ansprüchen verwendete Begriff "Bogen" soll sich allgemein auf eine gebogene Form beziehen, obwohl ein Kreisbogen die am häufigsten für eine chirurgische Nadel verwendete Form ist. Der Bogen wird in der austenitischen Phase bei einer Temperatur deutlich oberhalb Af (Fig. 1) gehalten. Die Nadel wird dann unter Mf abgekühlt und wird in die martensitische Phase umgewandelt. Während sie sich in der martensitischen Phase befindet, wird die Nadel in dem Maß verformt, das notwendig ist, daß sie durch eine Kanüle geleitet werden kann, (d. h. gerade gemacht bzw. gestreckt).
- Fig. 2 stellt eine verformte Nadel 10 mit daran angebrachtem Nahtmaterial 12 dar, die durch die Kanüle 14 geleitet wird, während sie in dern Nadelhalter 16 gehalten wird. Die Nadel wird durch die Kanüle geleitet, während sie bei einer Temperatur unterhalb As gehalten wird.
- Fig. 3 zeigt einen Trokar 18 mit daran angebrachter, eingeführter Kanüle 14, nachdem der Obturator zurückgezogen worden ist. Die Nadel 10, die in dern Nadelhalter 16 gehalten wird, befindet sich an der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle in dem Körper. Die Körperwand (Haut) ist schematisch in dern Ausschnitt 20 gezeigt. Wenn sie sich an der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle befindet, wird die Nadel mit der Heizvorrichtung 22 auf oberhalb Af erwärmt. Die Wärme kann beispielsweise bereitgestellt werden durch ein Beleuchtungslicht, durch einen Laser oder durch einen Kauter eines beliebigen Typs, der in der endoskopischen Chirurgie verwendet wird. Die Nadel wird in die austenitische Phase umgewandelt und kehrt in die gebogene Form zurück. Eine vergrößerte schematische Darstellung der Formänderung der Nadel 10, verursacht durch Erwärmen mit der Heizvorrichtung 22, ist in Fig. 4 gezeigt.
- Nachdem die Nadel ihre Funktion an der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle erfüllt hat, wird sie durch die Kanüle zurückgezogen, wie in Fig. 5 gezeigt ist. In der Durchsicht ist die Nadel 10 gezeigt, wie sie gerade in die Kanüle 14 eintritt. Wenn die Nadel 10 durch die Kanüle 14 herausgezogen wird, verformt sie sich, wie durch die durchgezogene Linie gezeigt ist. Das Nahtmaterial 12 ist der Klarheit und Einfachheit halber zu einer sehr kurzen Länge geschnitten dargestellt, obwohl normalerweise ein längeres Stück Nahtmaterial an der Nadel 10 befestigt bleibt.
- Die innere Durchmesser von Kanülen, die in der Endoskopie verwendet werden (und in den Fig. 2, 3 und 5 dargestellt sind), beträgt typischerweise 5, 7 oder 10 mm. Die größte laterale Abmessung einer gebogenen Nadel, die an einer chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle verwendet wird, "h" in Fig. 4, kann 12 mm groß sein. (Einfache Geometrie zeigt, daß h = R-1/2(4R² - L²)1/2, wobei R der Krümmungsradius und L die longitudinale Abmessung (d. h. die Sehne) der gebogenen Nadel ist. Wenn ein Chirurg versuchen würde, eine derartige Nadel durch eine 10 mm-Kanüle zu schieben, würde die Nadelspitze und/oder Kanüle ernsthaft beschädigt werden. Was möglicherweise noch schlimmer wäre, die Nadel könnte in der Kanüle stecken bleiben, was ein Entfernen und Ersetzen der Kanüle erforderlich machen würde.
- Eine SME-Nadel, die an der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle gebogen worden ist, könnte durch die Kanüle zurückgezogen werden (wie in Fig. 5 gezeigt ist), auch wenn h das zwei- oder dreifache des inneren Durchmessers der Kanüle betragen würde, da sich die Nadel als Reaktion auf die Spannung, die durch die starren Kanülenwände ausgeübt wird, zu einer geraden geometrischen Form biegt.
- Eine wichtige Eigenschaft der SMAs, die für die erfindungsgemäßen Nadeln verwendet werden, besteht darin, daß sie eine ausreichende Festigkeit aufweisen. Insbesondere sollten sie die Festigkeit in ihrer Hoch-Temperatur-Phase aufweisen. (Wenn die Festigkeit der Legierung nur etwas geringer ist als diejenige von konventionellem Nadelmaterial (z. B. rostfreiem Stahl), kann ein etwas größerer Nadeldurchinesser zum Kompensieren verwendet werden, jedoch sind wesentlich größere Durchmesser unerwünscht). Die Spannung, die dies auf die Phasenumwandlungseigenschaften der Nadel ausübt, wird in Zusammenhang mit Fig. 1 besser verständlich.
- An der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle wird die Nadel von einer Temperatur bei oder unterhalb As auf eine Temperatur oberhalb Af erwärmt. Wenn die Wärme entfernt wird, sollte die Temperatur nicht unter etwa Ms fallen, da sonst die Nadel weicher wird. Somit durchläuft die Legierung, die für chirurgische SME-Nadeln verwendet wird, ihre Phasenumwandlung vorzugsweise in einem engen Bereich nahe der normalen Körpertemperatur. Da praktische und medizinische Gründe die Temperatur begrenzen, auf die die Nadel an der chirurgischen Eingriffsstelle erwärmt werden kann, ist die Legierung vorzugsweise oberhalb etwa 35º austenitisch. (Af 35 ºC). Wenn die Temperatur der Nadel während der Lagerung, dern Transport oder dern Einführen durch die Kanüle auf über A&sub3; steigt, würde sie unerwünschterweise dazu neigen, sich vorzeitig zu biegen. Obwohl dieser Tendenz durch Kühlen und/oder Halten der Nadel in einer starren Hülle mit einem engen Lumen entgegengewirkt werden kann, beträgt As für bequemes Handhaben vorzugsweise etwa 25 ºC oder mehr.
- Es sind eine Vielzahl von SMAs genannt worden, die mehr oder weniger für chirurgische SME-Nadeln geeignet sind. Bevorzugte Legierungen umfassen Nickel und mindestens eines der Metalle Aluminium, Kobalt und Titan, bei denen der Zustand niedriger Temperatur martensitisch und der Zustand hoher Temperatur austenitisch ist. Unter diesen sind Nitinollegierungen, die in erster Linie Nickel und Titan sind (im allgemeinen jeweils etwa 50 %), jedoch auch kleine Mengen Eisen umfassen können; Legierungen aus Nickel, Titan und Kobalt; und Legierungen aus etwa 63 % Nickel und etwa 37 % Aluminium. Legierungen aus rostfreiem Stahl auf Eisenbasis, die eines oder mehrere der Metalle Chrom, Nickel, Mangan, Silizium und Kobalt umfassen, sind ebenfalls geeignet. Besonders bevorzugte Legierungszusammensetzungen umfassen 9 % Chrom, max. 10 % Nickel, max. 15 % Mangan, max. 7 % Silizium und den Rest Eisen.
- Die erfindungsgemäßen chirurgischen SME-Nadeln können in allen Formen, die in der Technik für chirurgische Nadeln bekannt sind, hergestellt werden. Beispielsweise kann die Nadel an ihrem distalen Ende eine kegelförmige Spitze, eine dreikantige Spitze oder eine Kombination der beiden aufweisen. Die Nadel kann über einen Teil ihrer Länge einen abgeflachten Bereich aufweisen, um das Greifen oder Orientieren der Nadel zu erleichtern, und sie kann eine Öffnung oder einen Kanal an ihrem proximalen Ende aufweisen, um das Befestigen von Nahtmaterial zu vereinfachen.
- Ein Draht aus einer Nitinollegierung mit der Zusammensetzung 50 (Atom-)% Nickel, 50 % Titan und einem Durchmesser von etwa 1 mm wurde um einen Gewindestab mit einem Durchmesser von 15 mm gewickelt, bei 425 ºC für etwa 5 Min. getempert und dann auf -75 ºC abgekühlt. Es wurden 35 mm lange Stücke geschnitten, gerade gemacht bzw. gestreckt und mit einer Spitze versehen. Die Nadeln wurden in einem sogenannten Pelvitrainer eingebracht, um eine endoskopische chirurgische Eingriffsstelle zu simulieren, und dann durch Erwärmen mit einem Laser oder einem Kauter gebogen.
- Eine gestreckte Nadel, die wie in Beispiel 1 hergestellt worden ist, wurde durch eine Endopath*-7 min-Kanüle an eine operative Eingriffsstelle in einem Schwein geleitet. Sie wurde durch ein Beleuchtungslicht erwärmt und dabei in eine Halbkreisschlinge mit einem Durchmesser von etwa 23 mm gebogen. Die Nadel wurde von der operativen Eingriffsstelle entfernt, indem sie mit einem Nadelhalter durch die Kanüle gezogen wurde.
Claims (8)
1. Chirurgische Nadel (10) mit daran befestigtem
Nahtmaterial (12), die zur Verwendung in endoskopischen
Verfahren adaptiert ist, bei dein Elemente an die
chirurgische Eingriffsstelle durch eine Kanüle (14) geleitet
werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Nadel (10) eine
Legierung mit Formgedächtnis umfaßt, die einen ersten
Zustand niedriger Temperatur und einen zweiten Zustand
hoher Temperatur umfaßt, wobei die Nadel (10)
(a) in dern Zustand niedriger Temperatur zu einer
langlichen Form formbar ist, die einen Durchtritt durch
ein längliches Röhrchen oder Kanüle (14) erlaubt, und
(b) in dem Zustand hoher Temperatur
(i) einen vorbestimmten Bogen bildet und
(ii) zur Verwendung als eine chirurgische Nadel
(10) geeignet ist.
2. Nadel nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Legierung Nickel und
ein oder mehrere Metalle, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe
bestehend aus Aluminium, Kobalt und Titan umfaßt, wobei
der Zustand niedriger Temperatur martensitisch und der
Zustand hoher Temperatur austenitisch ist.
3. Nadel nach Anspruch 2, wobei die Legierung bei
Temperaturen unter etwa 25 ºC martensitisch ist und bei
Temperaturen über etwa 35 ºC austenitisch ist.
4. Nadel nach Anspruch 2, wobei die
Legierungszusammensetzung etwa 50 % Nickel und etwa 50 % Titan ist.
5. Nadel nach Anspruch 2, wobei die Legierung im
wesentlichen aus Nickel, Titan und einer geringen Menge Eisen
besteht.
6. Nadel nach Anspruch 2, wobei die Legierung im
wesentlichen aus Nickel, Titan und Kobalt besteht.
7. Nadel nach Anspruch 2, wobei die
Legierungszusammensetzung etwa 63 % Nickel und etwa 37 % Aluminium ist.
8. Nadel nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Legierung Fe und ein
oder mehrere Metalle ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend
aus Cr, Ni, Mn, Si und Co umfaßt.
