- Hintergrund
- 1. Gebiet der Erfindung
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft allgemein prothetische orthopädische Implantate, insbesondere Gelenkkomponenten wie für die Verwendung bei Knien, Hüften, Schultern, Ellbogen, Zehen, Fingern, Handgelenken, Fußgelenken, Bandscheiben und dergleichen. Insbesondere betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer nicht-modularen prothetischen Gelenkkomponente, die eine Polymer-, Keramik- oder Metall-Lagerkomponente aufweist, die mit einem Polymer-, Keramik- oder Metallsubstrat verbunden ist, das mindestens eine poröse Oberfläche aufweist. Der nächstgelegene Stand der Technik ist
GB-A-2126096 - 2. Beschreibung des Stands der Technik
- Orthopädische Implantatvorrichtungen, die Fachleuten bekannt sind, weisen häufig eine Trägerkomponente und eine daran angebrachte Lagerkomponente auf. Ferner ist es häufig wünschenswert, daß die Metallträgerkomponente eine poröse Struktur oder Oberfläche aufweist, die zum Knocheneinwachsen geeignet ist, nachdem die Prothesenvorrichtung implantiert ist. Zum Beispiel weist eine typische prothetische Gelenkpfanne einen halbkugelförmigen Metallträger, mit einem porösen konvexen Äußeren und einem massiven konkaven Inneren auf. Eine ähnlich halbkugelförmige, jedoch kleinere Polymeroberfläche ist in das konkave Innere des Trägers eingesetzt. In einem anderen Beispiel weist eine typische tibiale Komponente zur Verwendung während einer Kniegelenkplastik ein tibiales Metallplateau mit einer porösen Knochenkontaktfläche und einer Polymerlagerkomponente auf, die an einer gegenüberliegenden Oberfläche angebracht ist.
- In vielen Fällen sind prothetische Gelenkvorrichtungen modular. Eine modulare Vorrichtung weist eine Trägerkomponente, die im allgemeinen ein biokompatibles Metall mit einer porösen Struktur oder Oberfläche aufweist, und eine getrennte Lagerflächenkomponente auf, die im allgemeinen ein Polymer aufweist. Zum Beispiel weist eine modulare Gelenkpfanne eine Metallträgerkomponente und eine Polymerlagerfläche auf, die fest darin eingesetzt ist. Eine solche Befestigung kann über eine oder mehrere einer Vielfalt bekannter mechanischer Einrichtungen, Schnappbefestigung der Komponenten, wie Preßeinpassung der Komponenten, eine Gewindeverbindung der Komponenten, Verwendung eines Sicherungsrings usw. erzielt werden.
- Fachleute erkannten, daß diese zusätzlichen mechanischen Halteeinrichtungen durch die Verwendung von nicht-modularen („Monoblock")-Gelenkkomponenten vermieden werden könnten. Monoblockgelenkkomponenten weisen einen Metallträger, wie eine Metall-Gelenkschale oder ein tibiales Metallplateau mit der integral daran angebrachten Lagerfläche auf. Im Unterschied zur modularen Komponente ist die Lagerfläche eines Monoblocks integral mit der Lagerkomponente und muß nicht während eines intraoperativen Schritts mechanisch an den Metallträger eines Implantats angebracht werden. Es sind gegenwärtig mehrere Monoblock-Prothesenvorrichtungen erhältlich. Diese Vorrichtungen werden im allgemeinen durch direktes Formpressen einer thermoplastischen Polymerlagerkomponente auf eine Trägerkomponente hergestellt. Jedoch weist dieses Verfahren zum Herstellen von Monoblockvorrichtungen Nachteile auf.
- In jüngerer Zeit weisen die Lagerkomponenten herkömmlicher Monoblock-Prothesenvorrichtungen häufig vernetztes Polyethylen mit ultrahohen Molekulargewicht („UHMWPE") auf. Die Vernetzung kann chemisch erreicht werden, jedoch wird sie üblicherweise über eine Bestrahlung mit Gamma- oder Elektronenstrahlen erreicht, nachdem die Monoblockvorrichtung zusammengebaut ist. Ein Problem bei diesem Prozeß ist es, daß die Metallkomponente der Monoblockvorrichtung die Lagerkomponente vor der Elektro nenstrahlbestrahlung abschirmen kann, die verwendet wird, um die Vernetzung einzuleiten, wodurch die Vernetzung der Lagerkomponente schwieriger und zeitaufwendiger gemacht wird oder möglicherweise Bereiche im Polymer erhalten werden, die unvernetzt bleiben.
- Eine anderes in der Technik bekanntes Problem bei Monoblockprozessen ist, daß solche Prozesse keinen Platz für die Verwendung nicht formbarer Materialien, wie Metalle oder Keramiken für die Lagerfläche bieten, da dieselbe nicht auf die Trägerkomponente formgepreßt oder spritzgegossen werden kann.
- Folglich ist ein Bedarf nach einem Verfahren zum Herstellen einer orthopädischen Monoblock-Gelenkvorrichtung vorhanden, wobei die Polymerkomponente getrennt von der Trägerkomponente vernetzt werden kann und damit anschließend verbunden werden kann, um eine Monoblock-Vorrichtung zu bilden.
- Es ist noch ein weiterer Bedarf nach einem Verfahren zum Herstellen eines orthopädischen Monoblockgelenks vorhanden, das Metall, Keramik oder ein anderes nicht fließfähiges Material für die Lagerfläche nutzt.
- Zusammenfassung
- Die vorliegende Erfindung weist ein Prothesenimplantat nach Anspruch 1 und ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer orthopädischen Monoblock-Gelenkvorrichtung nach Anspruch 6 auf, wobei die Gelenkvorrichtung eine Polymer-, Metall- oder Keramiklagerkomponente aufweist, die fest an eine poröse Metallkomponente oder eine Metallkomponente angebracht ist. In solchen Vorrichtungen steht die Metallkomponente im allgemeinen mit dem angrenzenden Knochen in Verbindung oder Kontakt. Die Lagerfläche (oder Gelenkfläche) steht im allgemeinen mit einem anderen Knochen oder einer Gelenkfläche von einem angrenzenden Implantat in einem beweglichen Kontakt.
- Ein Vorteil der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, daß eine vernetzte Polymerkomponente eher an eine Metallkomponente angebracht werden kann, als daß ein nichtvernetztes Polymer angebracht wird und anschließend dasselbe bestrahlt wird, um Ver netzungen zu erzeugen, da die Metallkomponente eine solche anschließende Bestrahlung schwierig machen kann.
- Ein anderer Vorteil der vorliegenden Erfindung ist, daß die Lagerfläche eine Vielfalt von Materialien, wie Thermoplaste, Duroplaste, Metalle und Keramiken aufweisen kann, jedoch immer noch an die poröse Metallkomponente gebunden sein kann.
- Diese und andere Vorteile und Merkmale der vorliegenden Erfindung werden Fachleuten bei der Durchsicht der beigefügten Ansprüche und Zeichnungen deutlich werden.
- Kurze Beschreibung der Zeichnungen

Obwohl die Zeichnungen eine exemplarische Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung darstellen, sind die Zeichnungen nicht notwendigerweise maßstabsgerecht und bestimmte Merkmale können übertrieben sein, um die Erfindung besser zu veranschaulichen und zu erläutern. Die hierin dargelegte Erläuterung veranschaulicht nur eine exemplarische Ausführungsform der Erfindung.
- Detaillierte Beschreibung
- Die vorliegende Erfindung weist ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Monoblock-Prothesenvorrichtung mit einer porösen Metallkomponente auf. Die
1 und2 zeigen exemplarische Vorrichtungen, die unter Verwendung des vorliegenden Verfahrens hergestellt werden können, die eine Gelenkpfanne für eine Hüftprothese und ein tibiales Plateau für eine Knieprothese aufweisen. Es wird durch Fachleute erkannt werden, daß andere Prothesenvorrichtungen, die eine Metallkomponente und Lagerkomponente aufweisen, wie glenoidale Komponenten für Schulterprothesen und dergleichen ebenfalls durch das vorliegende Verfahren hergestellt werden könnten. - Nun auf
3 bezugnehmend, wird eine schematische Ansicht einer ersten Ausführungsform300 des vorliegenden Verfahrens gezeigt. Das Verfahren weist die Schritte auf: Bereitstellen einer Metallträgerkomponente120 mit einer gewünschten Form; Bereitstellen einer Lagerkomponente160 mit einer gewünschten Form, wobei die Komponente mehrere Nuten165 aufweist, die daran angeordnet sind; Anordnen einer Metallkomponente120 und Lagerkomponente160 in einer Spritzgießvorrichtung, so daß ein gewünschter Spalt zwischen der Lagerkomponente160 und der porösen Metallkomponente120 vorhanden ist; und Spritzgießen einer Polymerzwischenschicht140 zwischen der porösen Metallkomponente120 und der Lagerkomponente160 , so daß die Polymerzwischenschicht140 mit der porösen Struktur der Metallkomponente120 und den Nuten165 der Lagerkomponente160 in Verbindung steht. - Wie sie hierin verwendet werden, sollten die Ausdrücke Trägerkomponente
120 , Polymerzwischenschicht140 und Lagerkomponente160 allgemein auf solche Komponenten ohne Berücksichtigung einer besonderen Form oder Prothesenimplantatanwendung zutreffen. Zum Beispiel findet der Ausdruck Lagerkomponente160 eine entsprechende Anwendung auf eine Meniskuskomponente einer Knieprothese und auf die Gelenkfläche einer prothetischen Gelenkpfanne. - Erneut auf
3 bezugnehmend, wird ein Schritt310 des Verfahrens300 gezeigt, der das Bereitstellen der Metallträgerkomponente120 aufweist. Die Metallträgerkomponente120 weist eine texturierte Oberfläche121 auf, an die sich die Polymerzwischenschicht140 heften kann. Der Metallträger120 und die Oberfläche121 sind vollständig porös, oder die Oberfläche121 ist porös und an den Metallträger120 durch Einrichtungen geheftet, die in der Technik allgemein bekannt sind. Die Metallkomponente120 weist ein biokompatibles Metallmaterial auf, das aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die aus Tantal, Titan, Kobalt-Chrom und rostfreiem Stahl besteht. Die Metallträgerkomponente120 ist ausreichend porös, um es zu ermöglichen, daß sich die Polymerzwischenschicht140 während des Formprozesses, der anschließend hierin beschrieben wird, darin verschränkt (wie in6 gezeigt). Vorzugsweise weist die Metallkomponente120 ein poröses Tantalmetall oder eine poröse Tantalmetalloberfläche auf. Ein Beispiel eines geeigneten porösen Tantalmetalls wird imUS-Patent Nr. 5,282,861 mit dem Titel „Open Cell Tantalum Structures for Cancellous Bone Implants and Cell and Tissue Receptors", offenbart, das am 1. Feb. 1994 an Richard B. Kaplan erteilt und an Ultramet, Pomona, CA übertragen wurde. Fachleute werden erkennen, daß in der vorliegenden Erfindung jedes biokompatible Material mit einer Oberfläche ausreichender Porositat und geeigneten mechanischen Eigenschaften, um zu vermeiden, daß es durch das vorliegende Verfahren nachteilig beeinflußt wird, verwendet werden kann. Einige exemplarische biokompatible Materialien umfassen: rostfreien Stahl, eine Kobalt-Chrom-Legierung, Titan und Titanlegierungen. - Die Metallträgerkomponente
120 weist ferner eine Form auf, die zur Verwendung in einem besonderen orthopädischen Implantat geeignet ist. Zum Beispiel könnte die Metallträgerkomponente120 des Schritts310 zu einer halbkugelförmigen Schale zur Verwendung in einem Gelenkpfannenimplantat geformt werden, wie in -
1 gezeigt. Alternativ könnte die Metallkomponente120 zu einer Platte zur Verwendung als ein tibiales Plateau geformt werden, wie in2 gezeigt. - Immer noch auf
3 bezugnehmend, weist das Verfahren der vorliegenden Erfindung ferner den Schritt320 auf, wobei die Lagerkomponente160 mit einer gewünschten Form vorgesehen ist. Die Lagerkomponente160 weist ein Material auf, das aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die aus Duroplasten, Thermoplasten, Metallen und Keramiken, einschließlich zum Beispiel, Polyurethan, Polyethylen und vernetztem Polyethylen, einer Titanlegierung, Kobaltlegierung, Aluminiumoxid und Zirkonoxid besteht. Die Lagerkomponente160 ist in einer Weise geformt, die für ein bestimmtes orthopädisches Implantat geeignet ist. Wie in1 gezeigt, weist die Lagerkomponente160 zum Beispiel eine halbkugelförmige Form auf, die im konkaven Inneren einer Gelenkpfannenschale angeordnet ist. Alternativ kann die Lagerkomponente160 , wie in2 gezeigt, beispielhaft und nicht einschränkend eine Form aufweisen, die für einen prothetischen Kniemeniskus geeignet ist. - Nun auf
4 bezugnehmend, wird eine Lagerfläche160 gezeigt. Die Lagerfläche160 weist Nuten165 auf, an die sich die Polymerzwischenschicht140 heften oder mit ihr „ineinandergreifen" kann. In einer ersten Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung sind Nuten165 um einen Abschnitt des Äußeren der Lagerkomponente160 angeordnet, so daß die Metallkomponente120 mindestens teilweise dort herum angeordnet ist, wie in6 gezeigt und unten detaillierter beschrieben wird. In anderen Ausführungsformen der Erfindung (5 ) kann die Lagerkomponente160 anstelle der Nuten eine texturierte Oberfläche, eine gerändelte Oberfläche oder eine Oberfläche aufweisen, die mehrere herausgearbeitete oder geformte Vertiefungen aufweist, wie in5 gezeigt. - Erneut auf
3 bezugnehmend, wird Schritt330 des Verfahrens300 gezeigt. Der Schritt330 weist das Anordnen der porösen Trägerkomponente120 und der Lagerkomponente160 in einer Spritzgießvorrichtung auf. Es ist jede Spritzgießvorrichtung zufriedenstellend, die zum Transport und Aushärten eines ausgewählten Polymermaterials imstande ist. Die Formvorrichtung sollte auch imstande sein, die Metallträgerkomponente120 und die Lagerkomponente160 in ihrer Form unterzubringen. Die Komponenten120 und160 sollten in der Form so angeordnet werden, daß die mindestens eine poröse Oberfläche der Metallkomponente120 einer texturierten Oberfläche der Lagerkomponente160 gegenüberliegt. Es sollte ein Spalt mit einem erwünschen Zwischenraum in der Form zwischen den Komponenten120 und160 vorhanden sein. - Immer noch auf
3 bezugnehmend, wird Schritt340 des Verfahrens300 gezeigt, wobei eine Polymerzwischenschicht140 danach in den Spalt spritzgegossen wird. Die Zwischenschicht140 weist irgendein biokompatibles thermoplastisches Polymer auf, einschließlich zum Beispiel Polyethylen, PEEK (einem Marken-Polyketon der Vitrex Company), andere Polyketone und Polyurethan. Während des Spritzgießprozesses fließt die Zwischenschicht140 mindestens teilweise um die Verzahnungseinrichtung der Lagerkomponente160 und mindestens teilweise in die poröse Oberfläche der Metallkomponente120 . Bei der Aushärtung sichert sich die Zwischenschicht140 mechanisch an der Lagerkomponente160 und der Metallkomponente120 , wie in6 dargestellt. Folglich wird über die Zwischenschicht140 eine Bindung zwischen den Komponenten120 und160 geschaffen. Fachleute werden erkennen, daß es vorzuziehen ist, daß die Zwischenschicht140 ein Polymer aufweist, das mit dem Material mischbar ist, das für die Lagerkomponente160 verwendet wird. Zum Beispiel sollte eine Polyethylen-Zwischenschicht140 mit Lagerkomponenten160 aus vernetzten Polyethylen mit ultrahohem Molekulargewicht verwendet werden, da eine solche Zwischenschicht140 einen Kleber sowie eine mechanische Bindung zwischen der Zwischenschicht140 und der Lagerkomponente160 bereitstellen wird. - Wenn wir uns nun
6 zuwenden, wird eine andere Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Verfahren600 ge zeigt. Das Verfahren600 weist die Schritte auf: Bereitstellen einer porösen Trägerkomponente120 mit einer gewünschten Form; Bereitstellen einer Lagerkomponente160 mit einer gewünschten Form, wobei die Komponente eine Polymerverzahnungseinrichtung165 aufweist; Anordnen der porösen Trägerstruktur und der Lagerkomponente in einer Formpreßvorrichtung, so daß ein gewünschter Spalt zwischen der Lagerkomponente und der porösen Struktur vorhanden ist; Anordnen einer Schicht Polymerharz im Spalt zwischen der porösen Oberfläche der Trägerkomponente und der texturierten Oberfläche der Lagerkomponente, so daß die Polymerschicht mit der porösen Struktur und der texturierten Oberfläche der Lagerkomponente in Verbindung steht, wodurch eine Anordnung gebildet wird; und Unterziehen der Anordnung einem Formpreßzyklus, so daß die Polymerschicht eine massive Zwischenschicht bildet, wobei die Zwischenschicht die poröse Struktur und die Lagerkomponente bindet. - Die Schritte des Verfahrens
600 sind so gestaltet, wie oben hinsichtlich anderer Ausführungsformen der vorliegenden Erfindung beschrieben, mit der Ausnahme der Schritte640 und650 , die anschließend hierin beschrieben werden. Der Schritt640 des Verfahrens500 weist das Anordnen eines Polymerharzes in einer Formpreßvorrichtung angrenzend an und in Verbindung mit einer porösen Oberfläche der Trägerkomponente120 und in Verbindung mit einer texturierten Oberfläche der Lagerkomponente160 auf. Dieses Polymerharz wird als Polymerzwischenschicht140 dienen. Fachleute werden erkennen, daß die Zwischenschicht140 in jeder nützlichen Form vorgesehen werden kann, einschließlich zum Beispiel Flocken oder Pulver. Die Polymerzwischenschicht140 kann, wie vorhergehend hierin offenbart, irgendein biokompatibles thermoplastisches Polymer, einschließlich PEEK (einem warenzeichengeschützten Polyketon der Vitrex Company), Polyethylen, UHMWPE, Polyurethan und dergleichen aufweisen. Die Kombination der Zwischenschicht140 , die mit der Metallkomponente120 und der Lagerkomponente160 in Verbindung steht, wird hierin als Anordnung180 bezeichnet. - Immer noch auf
6 bezugnehmend, wird Schritt650 des Verfahrens600 gezeigt, in dem die Anordnung180 einem Formpreßzyklus unterzogen wird, so daß die Zwischenschicht140 in die poröse Oberfläche der Metallkomponente120 bzw. um die Verzahnungseinrichtung165 der Lagerkomponente160 fließt. Der Formpreßzyklus weist im allgemeinen die Nutzung eines Drucks von etwa 0,7 MPa (100 psi) bis etwa 4,1 MPa (600 psi) für eine Zeit von etwa 1 bis etwa 6 Stunden und einer Temperatur von etwa 150°C bis etwa 200°C auf. Die Zwischenschicht140 sichert sich mechanisch in diesen Oberflächen, wie in den4 –5 gezeigt. Nachdem das Formen vollendet ist, ist ein nahezu fertig bearbeitetes orthopädisches Implantat hergestellt worden. - In Verfahren des Stands der Technik zur Herstellung einer Monoblock-Prothesenvorrichtung wurde nicht-vernetztes Material direkt auf die poröse Oberfläche der Metallkomponente geformt. Um ein Implantat mit einem vernetzten Polymerlagerflächenmaterial herzustellen, wird die Vernetzung durchgeführt, nachdem das Implantat zusammengebaut ist, indem das Teil bestrahlt wird. Jedoch ist es schwierig, bei Verwendung solcher Praktiken eine einheitliche Vernetzungsdichte zu erzielen, da die Metallkomponente die Elektronenstrahl- oder Gammabestrahlung unterbricht, die im allgemeinen verwendet wird, um die Vernetzung in einem Polymer einzuleiten. Es ist daher ein Vorteil des vorliegende Verfahrens, daß eine Lagerkomponente, die ein vernetztes Material aufweist, an eine Metallkomponente gebunden wird, ohne daß anschließend das Teil bestrahlt werden muß, um die Lagerkomponente zu vernetzen.
- Ein anderer Vorteil des vorliegenden Verfahrens ist, daß es ein Mittel bereitstellt, durch das nicht-fließfähige Materialien verwendet werden können, um die Lagerfläche zu formen, dadurch, daß eine Bindung zwischen den Komponenten
120 und160 über die Zwischenschicht140 vorhanden ist. Zum Beispiel kann das vorliegende Verfahren eine Keramiklagerkomponente160 , die mindestens eine texturierte oder poröse Oberfläche aufweist, mit einer porösen Metallkomponente120 verbinden. - Es wird durch Fachleute erkannt werden, daß das Vorhergehende eine Beschreibung einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung ist und daß Veränderungen der Gestaltung und des Aufbaus an der bevorzugten Ausführungsform vorgenommen werden können, ohne den Rahmen der Erfindung zu verlassen, der in den beigefügten Ansprüchen definiert ist.
Claims (10)
- Prothesenimplantat, das aufweist: eine Lagerkomponente (
160 ), wobei die Lagerkomponente (160 ) eine Verzahnungseinrichtung (165 ) aufweist, die an deren Außenfläche angeordnet ist; eine Trägerkomponente (120 ) und eine Polymerzwischenschicht (140 ) zwischen der Lagerkomponente (160 ) und der Trägerkomponente (120 ), wobei die Lagerkomponente (160 ) und die Zwischenschicht (140 ) nicht aus demselben Material bestehen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trägerkomponente (120 eine poröse Oberfläche aufweist und die Polymerzwischenschicht (140 ) zwischen der Verzahnungseinrichtung (165 ) und der porösen Oberfläche angeordnet ist, wodurch die Lagerkomponente (160 ) mit der Trägerkomponente (120 ) verbunden ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Lagerkomponente (
160 ) ein Material aufweist, das aus Polymeren, UHMWPE, Polyethylen, Polyurethan, PEEK, Metallen, Kobalt-Chrom, Titan, Tantal, Keramiken, Aluminiumoxid und Zirkonoxid ausgewählt ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Trägerkomponente (
120 ) ein Material aufweist, das aus Tantal, Titan, einer Titanlegierung, rostfreiem Stahl, einer Kobalt-Chrom-Legierung, Niob, Polymeren, UHMWPE, Polyethylen, Polyurethan, PEEK, Metallen, Kobalt-Chrom, Titan, Tantal, Keramiken, Aluminiumoxid und Zirkonoxid ausgewählt ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Polymerzwischenschicht (
140 ) ein Material aufweist, das aus Polyethylen, Polyurethan, PEEK und UHMWPE ausgewählt ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Verzahnungseinrichtung (
165 ) aus mehreren Nuten, die auf der Außenseite der Lagerkomponente angeordnet sind, einer gerändelten Oberfläche auf der Außenseite der Lagerkomponente und einer gekerbten Oberfläche auf der Außenseite der Lagerkomponente ausgewählt ist. - Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Monoblock-Prothesevorrichtung, wobei das Verfahren aufweist: Bereitstellen einer Trägerkomponente (
120 ) mit einer gewünschten Form, die eine poröse Oberfläche aufweist, Bereitstellen einer Lagerkomponente (160 ) mit einer gewünschten Form, wobei die Komponente eine Verzahnungseinrichtung (165 ) aufweist, die an deren Außenfläche angeordnet ist; Formen eine Polymerzwischenschicht (140 ) zwischen der poröse Oberfläche und der Verzahnungseinrichtung (165 ) der Lagerkomponente (160 ), so daß die Polymerzwischenschicht (140 ) mit der porösen Oberfläche und der Verzahnungseinrichtung (165 ) der Lagerkomponente (160 ) in Verbindung steht, so daß die Zwischenschicht (140 ) die Trägerkomponente (120 ) an der Lagerkomponente (160 ) befestigt. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei die Lagerkomponente (
160 ) ein Material aufweist, das aus Polymeren, UHMWPE, Polyethylen, Polyurethan, PEEK, Metallen, Kobalt-Chrom, Titan, Tantal, Keramiken, Aluminiumoxid und Zirkonoxid ausgewählt ist. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 6 oder 7, wobei die Trägerkomponente (
120 ) ein Material aufweist, das aus Tantal, Titan, ei ner Titanlegierung, rostfreiem Stahl, einer Kobalt-Chrom-Legierung, Niob, Polymeren, UHMWPE, Polyethylen, Polyurethan, PEEK, Metallen, Kobalt-Chrom, Titan, Tantal, Keramiken, Aluminiumoxid und Zirkonoxid ausgewählt ist. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 8, wobei die Polymerzwischenschicht (
140 ) ein Material aufweist, das aus Polyethylen, Polyurethan, PEEK und UHMWPE ausgewählt ist. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 9, wobei die Verzahnungseinrichtung (
165 ) aus mehreren Nuten, die auf der Außenseite der Lagerkomponente angeordnet sind, einer gerändelten Oberfläche auf der Außenseite der Lagerkomponente und einer gekerbten Oberfläche auf der Außenseite der Lagerkomponente ausgewählt ist.
