Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung, die ein eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltendes Polyacrylat, ein Polyisocyanat und ein Pigment umfasst.
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzungen sind aus DE-A-35 46 594 und GB 2 186 281 bekannt. Beide Veröffentlichungen offenbaren Füllstoff-Zusammensetzungen, die Hydroxygruppen enthaltende Polyacrylate und Polyisocyanate umfassen. Diese Füllstoff-Zusammensetzungen sind zu weich, wenn sie gehärtet sind, und ergeben eine mäßige Schleiffähigkeit.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung stellt nun eine Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung bereit, umfassend
- A) wenigstens ein eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltendes Polyacrylat, umfassend 40 – 70 Gew.-% aromatische Vinylmonomere und/oder Methylmethacrylat, 25 – 40 Gew.-% hydroxy-funktionelle (Meth)acrylmonomere, 0 – 20 Gew.-% (Meth)acrylmonomere, die wenigstens 2 Kohlenstoffatome in der Alkylgruppe aufweisen, und 0,5 – 2,5 Gew.-% (Meth)acrylsäure,
- B) wenigstens eine Polyisocyanat-Verbindung und
- C) wenigstens ein Pigment,
- Die vorliegende Erfindung stellt eine Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung mit einem ausgezeichneten Gleichgewicht zwischen Topfzeit und Trocknungs-/Schleiffähigkeitseigenschaften, Konsistenz gegenüber Trocknungszeit und Viskosität und Fließen bereit. Der Füllstoff kann für Schleif- und Nichtschleifanwendungen verwendet werden, er kann mit einer großen Vielfalt von Polyisocyanaten gehärtet werden und mit herkömmlichen Decklacken bedeckt werden. Der Füllstoff kann innerhalb eines großen Temperatur- und Feuchtigkeitsbereichs verwendet werden. Eigenschaften wie Schleiffähigkeit, Haftung an ein Substrat und an einen Decklack, Topfzeit, Korrosionsbeständigkeit, Wasserbeständigkeit, Glanzbeständigkeit, Härte und Lagerbeständigkeit sind denjenigen von kommerziellen Füllstoffen ähnlich oder besser als dieselben.
- Das eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat kann aus aromatischen Vinyl-Verbindungen, Methylmethacrylat, Hydroxy-funktionellen (Meth)acryl-Monomeren, (Meth)acryl-Monomeren mit wenigstens 2 Kohlenstoffatomen in der Alkylgruppe und (Meth)acrylsäure hergestellt werden. Beispiele aromatischer Vinyl-Verbindungen schließen Styrol und seine Derivate wie Vinyltoluol und Mischungen derselben ein. Hydroxy-funktionelle (Meth)acryl-Monomere haben vorzugsweise 2 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatome in der Alkyl-Komponente. Beispielen von Hydroxyfunktionellen (Meth)acryl-Monomeren schließen Hydroxyethyl(meth)acrylat, Hydroxypropyl(meth)acrylat, Hydroxylbutyl(meth)acrylat und Mischungen derselben ein. (Meth)acryl-Monomere haben vorzugsweise 2 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatome in der Alkyl-Komponente. Beispiele von (Meth)acryl-Monomeren schließen Ethylmethacrylat, Propylmethacrylat, Butylmethacrylat und Mischungen derselben ein. Die Ausdrücke (Meth)acrylat und (Meth)acrylsäure beziehen sich jeweils auf Methacrylat und Acrylat sowie Methacrylsäure und Acrylsäure. Das eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat wird durch herkömmliche Verfahren hergestellt, z.B. durch langsame Zugabe geeigneter Monomerer zu einer Lösung eines geeigneten Polymerisationsinitiators wie eines Azo- oder Peroxy-Initiators.
- Vorzugsweise umfasst das eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat
47 – 53 Gew.-% aromatische Vinylmonomere wie Styrol und/oder Methylmethacrylat,
28 – 33 Gew.-% hydroxy-funktionelle (Meth)acrylmonomere wie Hydroxyethyl(meth)acrylat,
14 – 19 Gew.-% (Meth)acrylmonomere, die wenigstens 2 Kohlenstoffatome in der Alkylgruppe aufweisen, wie Butylacrylat, und
0,5 – 2 Gew.-% (Meth)acrylsäure. - Das eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat hat eine Hydroxylzahl zwischen 100 und 160 mg KOH/g festes Harz, vorzugsweise zwischen 110 und 130 mg KOH/g festes Harz. Die Säurezahl des eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltenden Polyacrylats liegt zwischen 5 und 20 mg KOH/g festes Harz. Das Massenmittel der Molmasse (Mw) des Polymers, die durch Gelpermeationschromatographie mit Polystyrol als Standard gemessen wurde, ist größer als 15 000, vorzugsweise zwischen 15 000 und 30 000. Die Glasübergangstemperatur (Tg) liegt zwischen 25 °C und 100 °C, vorzugsweise zwischen 40 °C und 60 °C, wie aus den Glasübergangstemperaturen des Homopolymers der einzelnen Monomere, die in der Literatur angegeben werden (Fox-Gleichung, siehe Batzer, Polymeric Material 1935, Seite 307), berechnet wurde.
- Die Polyisocyanat-Verbindung ist ein Vernetzungsmittel , das mit Hydroxygruppen reagiert. Polyisocyanate sind Verbindungen mit zwei oder mehr Isocyanatgruppen pro Molekül und in der Technik der Füllstoffe wohlbekannt. Geeignete Polyisocyanate sind aliphatische Polyisocyanate, wie Trimethylendiisocyanat, 1,2-Propylendiisocyanat, Tetramethylendiisocyanat, 2,3-Butylendiisocyanat, Hexamethylendiisocyanat, Octamethylendiisocyanat, 4-Isocyanatomethyl-1,8-octandiisocyanat, 2,2,4-Trimethylhexamethylendiisocyanat, 2,4,4-Trimethylhexamethylendiisocyanat, Dodecamethylendiisocyanat, α,α'-Dipropyletherdiisocyanat und trans-Vinylidendiisocyanat; alicycliclische Polyisocyanate, wie 1,3-Cyclopentylendiisocyanat, 1,2-Cyclohexylendiisocyanat, 1,4-Cyclohexylendiisocyanat, 4-Methyl-1,3-cyclohexylendiisocyanat, 4,4'-Dicyclohexylendiisocyanatmethan, 3,3'-Dimethyl-4,4'dicyclohexylendiisocyanatmethan, Norbornandiisocyanat und Isophorondiisocyanat; aromatische Polyisocyanate, wie m- und p-Phenylendiisocyanat, 1,3- und 1,4-Bis(isocyanatmethyl)benzol, 1,5-Dimethyl-2,4-bis(isocyanatmethyl)benzol, 1,3,5-Triisocyanatbenzol, 2,4- und 2,6-Toluoldi isocyanat, 2,4,6-Toluoltriisocyanat, α,α,α',α'-Tetramethyl-o-, m- und p-xylylendiisocyanat, 4,4'-Diphenylendiisocyanatmethan, 4,4'-Diphenylendiisocyanat, 3,3'-Dichlor-4,4'-diphenylendiisocyanat und Naphthalin-1,5-diisocyanat, und Mischungen der oben genannten Polyisocyanate.
- Auch können solche Verbindungen Addukte von Polyisocyanaten sein, z.B. Biurete, Isocyanurate, Allophanate, Uretdione, Prepolymere von Polyisocyanaten und Mischungen derselben. Beispiele solcher Addukte sind das Addukt von 2 Molekülen Hexamethylendiisocyanat oder Isophorondiisocyanat an ein Diol wie Ethylenglycol, das Addukt von 3 Molekülen Hexamethylendiisocyanat an 1 Molekül Wasser, das Addukt von 1 Molekül Trimethylolpropan an 3 Moleküle Isophorondiisocyanat, das Reaktionsprodukt von 3 mol α,α,α',α'-Tetramethylxyloldiisocyanat mit 1 mol Trimethylolpropan, das Addukt von 1 Molekül Pentaerythrit an 4 Moleküle Toluoldiisocyanat, das Isocyanurat von Hexamethylendiisocyanat, das von Bayer unter der Handelsbezeichnung Desmodur® N3390 und Desmodur® N3600 erhältlich ist, das Uretdion von Hexamethylendiisocyanat, das von Bayer unter der Handelsbezeichnung Desmodur® N3400 erhältlich ist, das Allophanat von Hexamethylendiisocyanat, das von Bayer unter der Handelsbezeichnung Desmodur® LS 2101 erhältlich ist, das Addukt von 3 mol Toluoldiisocyanat an 1 mol Trimethylolpropan, das von Bayer unter der Handelsbezeichnung Desmodur® L erhältlich ist, und das Isocyanurat von Isophorondiisocyanat, das von Hüls unter der Handelsbezeichnung Vestanat® T1890 erhältlich ist. Weiterhin sind (Co)polymere von isocyanatfunktionellen Monomeren, wie α,α'-Dimethylm-isopropenylbenzylisocyanat, zur Verwendung geeignet. Schließlich können die oben erwähntem Isocyanate und Addukte derselben in Form von blockierten Isocyanaten vorliegen, wie dem Fachmann bekannt ist.
- Bevorzugt werden das Isocyanurat von Hexamethylendiisocyanat, das Biuret von Hexamethylendiisocyanat, das Isocyanurat von Isophorondiisocyanat, Mischungen des Biurets von Hexamethylendiisocyanat und des Isocyanurats von Isophorondiisocyanat und Mischungen des Isocyanurats von Hexamethylendiisocyanat und des Isocyanurats von Isophorondiisocyanat.
- Die Polyisocyanat-Verbindung wird in einer solchen Menge verwendet, dass das Verhältnis der Isocyanatgruppen zu der Gesamtzahl der Hydroxygruppen in der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung im Bereich von 0,5 bis 2 und vorzugsweise von 0,75 bis 1,25 liegt.
- Pigmente liegen in der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung der vorliegenden Erfindung vor. Brauchbare Pigmente sind verschiedene Typen, die in der Technik üblich sind, welche folgende – ohne aber auf dieselben beschränkt zu sein – einschließen: Titandioxid, Graphit, Ruß, Zinkoxid, Calciumsulfid, Chromoxid, Zinksulfid, Zinkchromat, Strontiumchromat, Bariumchromat, Bleichromat, Bleicyanamid, Bleisilicochromat, gelbes Nickeltitan, gelbes Chromtitan, rotes Eisenoxid, gelbes Eisenoxid, schwarzes Eisenoxid, Naphtolrot und -braun, Anthrachinone, Dioxazinkviolett, Isoindolingelb, Arylidgelb und -orange, Ultramarinblau, Phthalocyanin-Komplexe, Amarant, Chinacridone, halogenierte Thioindigo-Pigmente, Verschnittpigmente wie Magnesiumsilicat, Aluminiumsilicat, Calciumsilicat, Calciumcarbonat, Quarzstaub, Bariumsulfat und Zinkphosphat und Mischungen derselben. Vorzugsweise werden Magnesiumsilicat, Aluminiumsilicat, Bariumsulfat, Calciumcarbonat, Titandioxid, Zinkphosphat, vorzugsweise mikronisiert, und Mischungen derselben verwendet. Die Pigmentvolumen-Konzentration in der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung reicht von 40 % bis 80 %, vorzugsweise von 40 % bis 60 %, bezogen auf Feststoffe.
- Die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung kann auch Katalysatoren für die Isocyanat-Hydroxy-Reaktion umfassen, wie Dibutylzinndilaurat, Dimethylzindilaurat, Dioctylzinndilauratdiazabicyclooctan (DABCO), Zirconiumoctoat, Triethylamin und Mischungen derselben. Vorzugsweise wird eine Mischung von Dibutylzinndilaurat und Zirconiumoctoat verwendet. Der Katalysator wird in einer Menge von 0,001 Gew.-% bis 5 Gew.-%, bezogen auf festes Harz, vorzugsweise von 0,1 bis 2,5 Gew.-% verwendet. Das Mischungsverhältnis von Dibutylzinndilaurat und Zirconiumoctoat kann im Bereich von 1:5 – 100, vorzugsweise von 1:15 – 75 liegen.
- Die Zusammensetzung kann weiterhin herkömmliche Polymere umfassen, wie ein Polyesterharz, ein Epoxyharz, das gegebenenfalls hydroxylfunktionell ist, und Mischungen derselben. Auch Haftvermittler, wie Amino-, Mercapto- und Epoxysilane und Elastizitätsverbesserer wie Elast-o-ActifTM von Akzo Nobel Coatings BV, Niederlande, können eingeschlossen sein.
- Vorzugsweise kann Nitrocellulose zu der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gegeben werden, um die Konsistenz zu verstärken. Nitrocellulose kann in einer Menge von 0,01 bis 5 Gew.-% der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung verwendet werden.
- Die Zusammensetzung kann weiterhin konventionelle Additive umfassen, wie Stabilisatoren, Tenside, UV-Absorber, Katalysatorblockierer, Antioxidationsmittel, Pigment-Dispergiermittel, Fließmitteladditiven, Rheologieregler, Egalisierhilfsmittel und Lösungsmittel. Das Lösungsmittel kann jedes Lösungsmittel sein, das in der Technik bekannt ist, d.h. aliphatische und/oder aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe. Beispiele schließen die folgenden ein: Solvesso® 100, Toluol, Xylol, Butanol, Isopropanol, Butylacetat, Ethylacetat, Methoxypropylacetat, Aceton, Acetylaceton, Methylisobutylketon, Methylisoamylketon, Methylethylketon, Methoxypropanal, Diacetonalkohol, Butylglycolacetat, Ethylethoxypropionat, Tetrahydronaphthalin und Mischungen derselben.
- Vorzugsweise umfasst die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung weniger als 600 g/l flüchtiges organisches Lösungsmittel, bezogen auf die gesamte Zusammensetzung, mehr bevorzugt weniger als 550 g/l, am meisten bevorzugt weniger als 525 g/l, gemessen gemäß ISO 11890.
- Die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzungen werden in einem Ein-, Zwei- oder Dreikomponentensystem formuliert, und zwar in Abhängigkeit von der Auswahl der freien Isocyanatgruppen oder der blockierten Isocyanatgruppen und dem Vorliegen von Katalysatoren in dem System.
- Die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung der vorliegenden Erfindung wird zur Herstellung beschichteter Substrate verwendet. Diese Substrate schließen Holz, Kunststoff und Metall ein. Das Substrat kann vorher mit einem Primer beschichtet werden, bevor die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung aufgetragen wird. Die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung ist besonders in der Reparaturlackindustrie brauchbar, insbesondere der Karosseriewerkstatt, um Automobile zu reparieren. Die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung ist auch in der Automobilindustrie zum Decklackieren großer Transportfahrzeuge wie Züge und Busse anwendbar, und sie kann auch bei Flugzeugen verwendet werden. Die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung kann unter Verwendung herkömmlicher Sprühgerätschaften oder großvolumiger Niederdruck-Sprühgerätschaften aufgetragen werden, was einen Decklack hoher Qualität ergibt. Andere Arten des Auftragens sind Walzenauftrag, Streichen, Bespritzen, Fließbeschichten, Eintauchen, elektrostatisches Sprühen oder Elektrophorese, wobei das Sprühen bevorzugt wird. Beispielhafte Metallsubstrate schließen Stahl, verzinkten Stahl, Aluminium, Kupfer, Zink, Magnesium und Legierungen derselben ein. Die Härtungstemperaturen liegen vorzugsweise zwischen 0 °C und 80 °C und mehr bevorzugt zwischen 20 °C und 60 °C. Die Härtung kann auch unter IR-Licht durchgeführt werden.
- Es ist ein weiterer Vorteil der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzungen der vorliegenden Erfindung, dass sie Schichten von 25 μm bis 250 μm ohne irgendein Problem bereitstellen können. Die erwähnte Dicke bezieht sich auf die Trockenfilmdicke. Die Schichtdicke kann ohne Gardinenbildung und Blasenbildung erreicht werden.
- Die Erfindung wird weiterhin durch die folgenden Beispiele erläutert.
- Beispiele
- Die folgenden Verfahren wurden verwendet, falls nichts Anderweitiges angegeben ist.
- Die Viskosität wird in einem DIN Auslaufbecher Nr. 4 gemäß DIN 53221-1987 (Din C 4) gemessen. Die Viskosität wird in Sekunden angegeben.
- Die Topfzeit ist die Zeitspanne zwischen dem anfänglichen Vermischen aller Komponenten und dem Punkt, an dem die Viskosität auf das Doppelte der anfänglichen Viskosität angestiegen ist.
- Das VOC der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung wird gemäß ISO 11890 gemessen. Die Persoz-Härte wird gemäß ISO 1522-1973 gemessen, außer dass eine Stahlplatte, die behandelt wurde, wie in den Beispielen angegeben ist, anstelle einer Glasplatte verwendet wird.
- Die Adhäsion wird gemäß ISO 2409 gemessen. Die Adhäsion wird auf einer Skala von 0 (= kein Ablösen) bis 5 (vollständiges Ablösen) visuell bestimmt.
- Die Elastizität wird gemäß ISO 1520 (Erichsen) und gemäß ASTM D2974 (Aufprallen) bestimmt.
- Die Steinsplitterbeständigkeit wird gemäß Ford BI 157-04 bestimmt. Die Platten werden auf einer Skala von 0 (=gut) bis 7 (=schlecht) visuell bewertet. Ein erster Test wurde mit einer nicht behandelten Platte durchgeführt. Ein zweiter Test an der gleichen Stelle auf der Platte wurde nach einem 72stündigen Einweichen in Wasser gemäß ASTM D870 durchgeführt.
- Die Wasserbeständigkeit wird gemäß ASTM D4585 (Kondensationstest QTC 40 °C) gemessen.
- Die Korrosionsbeständigkeit wurde gemäß ASTM B117 (Salzsprühtest) gemessen.
- Die folgenden Verbindungen wurden verwendet:
- Hydroxygruppe-enthaltendes Polyacrylat A mit der folgenden Monomer-Zusammensetzung: 53 Gew.-% Styrol, 28 Gew.-% Hydroxyethylmethacrylat, 18 Gew.-% Butylacrylat und 1 Gew.-% Acrylsäure, Mw = 21 000 (GPC mit Polystyrol als Standard); Hydroxyzahl = 120 mg KOH/g festes Harz, Säurezahl: = 8 mg KOH/g festes Harz; Tg = 47 °C und Feststoffgehalt = 52 Gew.-% in Xylol.
- Hydroxygruppe-enthaltendes Polyacrylat B, das gemäß Copolymer 1 – offenbart in
DE 35 46 594 und GB 2 186 281 – hergestellt wurde, mit der folgenden Monomer-Zusammensetzung: 30 Gew.-% Styrol, 18,4 Gew.-% Methylmethacrylat, 30 Gew.-% Hydroxyethylmethacrylat, 20,3 Gew.-% Butylacrylat und 1,3 Gew.-% Acrylsäure. Mw = 6750 (GPC mit Polystyrol als Standard); Hydroxyzahl = 120 mg KOH/g festes Harz, Feststoffgehalt = 71 Gew.-%. - Hydroxygruppe-enthaltendes Polyacrylat C mit der folgenden Monomer-Zusammensetzung: 30 Gew.-% Styrol, 18,4 Gew.-% Methylmethacrylat, 30 Gew.-% Hydroxyethylmethacrylat, 20,3 Gew.-% Butylacrylat und 1,3 Gew.-% Acrylsäure. Mw = 33 400 (GPC mit Polystyrol als Standard); Hydroxyzahl = 120 mg KOH/g festes Harz; Feststoffgehalt = 62 Gew.-%.
- Hydroxygruppe-enthaltendes Polyacrylat D, das gemäß Copolymer 7 – offenbart in
DE 35 46 594 und GB 2 186 281 – hergestellt wurde, mit der folgenden Monomer-Zusammensetzung: 50,5 Gew.-% Styrol, 17,6 Gew.-% Methylmethacrylat, 15 Gew.-% Hydroxyethylacrylat, 15,2 Gew.-% 2-Ethylhexylacrylat und 1,8 Gew.-% Acrylsäure. Mw = 28 900 (GPC mit Polystyrol als Standard); Hydroxyzahl = 80 mg KOH/g festes Harz; Feststoffgehalt = 51 Gew.-%. - DBTL ist Dibutylzinndilaurat, 1 Gew.-% in Xylol.
- Durham-Zirconium 18 ist 63 Gew.-% Zirconiumoctoat in Exxsol D60.
NCO – X: Isocyanurat von Hexamethylendiisocyanat,
NCO – Y: 4:1 Gewichtsmischung des Biurets von Hexamethylendiisocyanat und des Isocyanurats von Isophorondiisocyanat

- Die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung wird aus den folgenden Verbindungen hergestellt, außer dem Polyisocyanat und DBTL:
27,6 g eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltendes Polyacrylat A
14,8 g Titandioxid
10 g mikronisiertes Zinkphosphat
10 g Calciumcarbonat
21,8 g Aluminiumsilicat
14 g Butylacetat und Methoxypropylacetat
1,25 g herkömmliche Additive 0,5 g Durham-Zirconium 18 Tabelle 1 Füllstoff-Zusammensetzungen - Substrat
- Stahl
- Eine Stahlplatte wurde mit M600 Degreaser (im Handel von Akzo Nobel Coatings BV, Niederlande erhältlich) entfettet und maschinell mit P180 geschliffen.
- Aluminium
- Eine Aluminiumplatte wurde mit M600 Degreaser entfettet und mit einem rotem Scotch Brite Kissen, Typ A abgerieben.
- Verzinkter Stahl
- Ein verzinkter Stahl wurde mit M600 Degreaser entfettet und mit einem rotem Scotch Brite Kissen, Typ A abgerieben. Dann wurde die Platte wieder mit M600 entfettet.
- Vorbeschichtungen
- Die Platten wurden vor dem Auftragen des Füllstoffs mit Washprimer CR von Akzo Nobel Coatings BV, Niederlande behandelt.
- Decklacke
- B/C = Basis/Klarlack
-
- Autobase (im Handel von Akzo Nobel-Coatings erhältlich),
- Autoclear MS 2000 (im Handel von Akzo Nobel-Coatings erhältlich).
- Feste Farben
-
- AC: Autocryl (im Handel von Akzo Nobel-Coatings erhältlich),
- AC+: Autocryl Plus (im Handel von Akzo Nobel-Coatings erhältlich),
- AC LV: Autocryl LV 480 (im Handel von Akzo Nobel-Coatings erhältlich).
- Schleiffüllstoffe
- Die vorher beschichteten Substrate wurden mit den Schleiffüllstoffen besprüht und 1 Tag bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet. Dann wurden die beschichteten Substrate mit P500 geschliffen und mit den unterschiedlichen Decklacken beschichtet. Die Dicke der getrockneten Füllstoffschicht war 70 bis 100 μm.
- Das Schleifen war nach dreistündigem Trocknen bei Raumtemperatur, 30minütigem Trocknen bei 60 °C, 16stündigem Trocknen bei 10 °C oder 15minütigem Trocknen unter IR-Licht möglich. Demgemäß ist die Trocknungszeit der Schleiffüllstoffe ausgezeichnet.
- Nichtschleif-Füllstoffe
- Die vorher beschichteten Substrate wurden mit Nichtschleif-Füllstoffen besprüht und direkt mit den unterschiedlichen Decklacken beschichtet (nass-auf-nass). Die geschätzte Dicke der getrockneten Füllstoffschicht war 35 bis 50 μm.
- Die Topfzeit sowohl der Schleif- als auch der Nichtschleif-Füllstoffe war 60 bis 120 min. Das Gleichgewicht zwischen Topfzeit und Trocknungs/Schleiffähigkeitseigenschaften war ausgezeichnet, ebenso wie die Konsistenz gegenüber der Trocknungszeit. Die Fließeigenschaften waren ausgezeichnet, insbesondere für den Schleiffüllstoff, der ein geringeres Schleifen ergab. Die Glanzbeständigkeit war gut.
- Die Ergebnisse der Eigenschaften des Systems sind nachstehend in den Tabellen 2 und 3 aufgeführt.
- Die Schleif- und Nichtschleif-Füllstoffe der vorliegenden Erfindung stellen eine ausgezeichnete Härte, Elastizität, Adhäsion, Wasser- und Korrosionsbeständigkeit bereit, und zwar unabhängig von den verwendeten Härtungsmitteln.
- Wiederum sind die Systemeigenschaften der Platten, die mit Schleif- und Nichtschleif-Füllstoffen beschichtet wurden, ausgezeichnet.
- Beispiel 25 und Vergleichsbeispiele A und B
- Die folgende Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung wurde hergestellt:
27,6 g Hydroxygruppe enthaltendes Polyacrylat C (der Feststoffgehalt wurde unter Zugabe von Butylacetat auf 51 % gebracht)
14,8 g Titandioxid
10 g mikronisiertes Zinkphosphat
10 g Calciumcarbonat
21,8 g Aluminiumsilicat
14 g Butylacetat und Methoxypropylacetat
1,25 g herkömmliche Additive
0,5 g Durham-Zirconium 18
0,5 g DBTL - NCO-X wurde zugegeben, um ein NCO:OH-Verhältnis von 1 zu erhalten. Diese Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung wurde auf eine Stahlplatte aufgetragen. Die Schleifeigenschaften und die MEK-Beständigkeit wurden nach dreistündigem Trocknen bei Umgebungstemperatur bestimmt. Der Versuch wurde wiederholt, außer dass das Hydroxygruppe enthaltendes Polyacrylat C mit einem Feststoffgehalt von 51 % durch das Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat B oder das Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat D ersetzt wurde. Die Ergebnisse der Versuche sind in der Tabelle 4 aufgeführt.
- Bewertung
- 0 = am schlechtesten, 10 = am besten.
- Schleiffähigkeit
- Wird als Verklumpen des Schleifpapiers bewertet, d.h. die Bildung von harten, glänzenden Klumpen, die an dem Schleifpapier kleben.
- MEK-Beständigkeit
- Ein Stück Baumwolle, das mit Methylethylketon durchtränkt ist, wird 1 Minute lang auf die Beschichtung gelegt; nach dem Entfernen der Baumwolle wird die Härte mit dem Fingernagel beurteilt.
- Härte
- Sie wird mit dem Fingernagel beurteilt.
- Wie aus den Ergebnissen der Tabelle 4 ersichtlich ist, stellt eine Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß der Erfindung bessere Ergebnisse bereit als eine Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß dem Stand der Technik.
Claims (9)
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung, umfassend: A) wenigstens ein eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltendes Polyacrylat, umfassend 40 – 70 Gew.-% aromatische Vinylmonomere und/oder Methylmethacrylat, 25 – 40 Gew.-% hydroxy-funktionelle (Meth)acrylmonomere, 0 – 20 Gew.-% (Meth)acrylmonomere, die wenigstens 2 Kohlenstoffatome in der Alkylgruppe aufweisen, und 0,5 – 2,5 Gew.-% (Meth)acrylsäure, wobei das eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat eine Hydroxylzahl zwischen 100 und 160 mg KOH/g festes Harz, eine Säurezahl zwischen 5 und 20 mg KOH/g festes Harz, ein Mw von größer als 15 000 und ein Tg zwischen 25 °C und 100 °C aufweist, B) wenigstens eine Polyisocyanat-Verbindung und C) wenigstens ein Pigment, wobei die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung eine Pigment-Volumenkonzentration im Bereich von 40 bis 80 % bezogen auf Feststoffe aufweist.
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das eine Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat 47 – 53 Gew.-% aromatische Vinylmonomere und/oder Methylmethacrylat, 28 – 33 Gew.-% hydroxy-funktionelle (Meth)acrylmonomere, 14 – 19 Gew.-% (Meth)acrylmonomere, die wenigstens 2 Kohlenstoffatome in der Alkylgruppe aufweisen, und 0,5 – 2 Gew.-% (Meth)acrylsäure umfasst.
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das die Hydroxygruppe enthaltende Polyacrylat eine Hydroxylzahl zwischen 110 und 130 mg KOH/g festes Harz, ein Mw zwischen 15 000 und 30 000 und ein Tg zwischen 40 °C und 60 °C hat.
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Polyisocyanat aus dem Isocyanurat von Hexamethylendiisocyanat, dem Biuret von Hexamethylendiisocyanat und dem Isocyanurat von Isophorondiisocyanat und deren Mischungen ausgewählt ist.
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Polyisocyanat-Verbindung in einer solchen Menge verwendet wird, dass das Verhältnis von Isocyanatgruppen zur gesamten Anzahl der Hydroxygruppen in der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung im Bereich von 0,75 zu 1,25 liegt.
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Pigment aus Magnesiumsilicat, Aluminiumsilicat, Bariumsulfat, Calciumcarbonat, Titandioxid, Zinkphosphat und Mischungen derselben ausgewählt ist.
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung zusätzlich dazu einen Katalysator für die Isocyanat-Hydroxy-Reaktion umfasst, der aus der aus Dibutylzinndilaurat und Zirconiumoctoat und deren Mischungen bestehenden Gruppe ausgewählt ist.
- Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung eine Pigment-Volumenkonzentration im Bereich von 40 bis 60 % bezogen auf Feststoffe umfasst.
- Verwendung der Füllstoff-Zusammensetzung gemäß irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche zur (Reparatur)lackierung großer Fahrzeuge und zur Autoreparaturlackierung.
