Description
- Blechummantelte Glasdachsprosse Die Erfindung betrifft eine blechummantelte Glasdachsprosse.
- Die Mäntel für Glasdachsprossen werden gewöhnlich aus Blei hergestellt und sollen dazu dienen, die Eisensprossen gegen Witterungseinflüsse zu schützen. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß die Blechmäntel an den Stirnseiten und an den Befestigungsstellen der Sprossen oft nicht ganz dicht schließen. Die eindringende angesäuerte Feuchtigkeit verursachte an den Eisensprossen Korrosionsschäden, die noch durch die elektrolytische Wirkung infolge Verbindung verschiedener Metalle unter Hinzutritt angesäuerter Feuchtigkeit so verstärkt wurden, daß eine vollständige Zerstörung der Glasdachsprossen eintrat, ohne daß dies von außen sichtbar war. Erst durch Einknicken der tragunfähig gewordenen Blechmäntel zeigte sich die Zerstörung.
- Die Erfindung besteht nun darin, daß die Glasdachsprossen einen porenfreien Zwischenüberzug über den Sprossenkern erhalten, und zwar aus demselben Metall hergestellt, aus dem der Blechmantel besteht. Auf diese Weise wird eine Korrosion durch elektrolytische Wirkung unmöglich.
- Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel.
- Der Sprossenkern i besteht aus Walzeisen von T-förmigem Querschnitt. Als Korrosionsschutz dient der porenfreie Zwischenüberzug 2, der im schmelzflüssigen Metallbad oder auf galvanischem Wege aufgebracht werden kann. Der Blechmantel 3 besitzt Flansche q. und 5, die zur Niederhaltung des Glases 6 dienen, während die Flansche 7 eine Abdichtung des Glases an der Unterfläche bewirken. An Stelle des gezeichneten T-förmigen Querschnittes können auch andere Querschnitte verwendet werden, z. B. L, U, 1, 0 u. dgl.

- PATENTANSPRUCI'I: Blechummantelte Glasdachsprosse, gekennzeichnet durch einen porenfreien Zwischenüberzug (2) über den Sprossenkern (i) aus dem gleichen Metall wie das des Blechmantels (3).
