Description

  • Vorrichtung zum Zusammenvulkanisieren der beiden Enden einer Gummibahn Das Zusammenv ulkanisieren der Enden an Gummibahnen bietet in den für diese Zwecke zur Verfügung stehenden Pressen gewisse Schwierigkeiten. Man hilft, sich -vielfach damit, daß die Ständer der 'Pressen -durch entsprechende _ weite Ausladung und Ausbildung der- da'-s- Pressenmaul bildenden Teile ein Einführen des Gummibandes seitlich des Preßelementes in die Presse gestatten, so daß die miteinander zu verbindenden Gummibandenden überlappt werden- und in diesem Zustand zwischen die Preßstempel gebracht werden können.
  • Gegenstand der Erfindung ist nun eine Vorrichtung zum Zusammenvulkanisieren von Gummibandenden, bei der das Anpressen der Verbindungsstelle an die Preßplatte einer Vulkanisierpresse durch einen in die Presse einzuführenden Heiztisch bewirkt wird. Gemäß der Erfindung besteht der Heiztisch aus einer losen Heizplatte, deren der Verbindungsstelle abgekehrte Seite mit einer Isolierschicht versehen sein kann.
  • Hierdurch wird die Presse verwendbar zum Zusammenvulkanisieren der beiden Enden eines und desselben Gummibandes, insofern, als während des Zusammenvulkanisierens sich die zusätzliche Heizplatte in der durch das Gummiband gebildeten Schleife befindet.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung schematisch dargestellt. Die Presse i hat eine bewegliche Unterplatte z und eine feste Oberplatte q.. Zum Aneinanderv ulkanisieren der beiden Enden 5 und 6 der Gummibahn 7 kommt nun erfindungsgemäß eine zusätzliche lose Heizplatte 9 in Anwendung, die zwischen die beiden Heizplatten 3 und q. in die Presse eingebracht werden kann. Diese Heizplatte 9 ist an der unteren Seite mit einer Isolierplatte 8 versehen, die noch besonders durch Wasser . gekühlt sein kann.
  • Die Gümmibahn 7 kann nunmehr mit ihren beiden übereinandergelegten Enden 5 und 6 zwischen die Heizplatten 3 und q. eingebracht «-erden, und zwar so, daß die zu verbindenden Bandenden zwischen der einen ohnehin vorhandenen Heizplatte und der zusätzlichen fIeizplatte 9 sich befinden. Zwischen diesen beiden Heizplatten werden nun die Bandenden 5 und 6 auseinandervulkanisiert,wobei der der Verbindungsstelle gegenüberliegende Teil des Gummibandes zwischen der unteren Heizplatte und ebenfalls der zusätzlichen Heizplatte eingeklemmt wird. Um Beschädigungen des Gummibandes zu vermeiden, ist die Isolierung 8 dieser Heizplatte vorgesehen, wobei angezeigt ist, die Heizplatte 3 während des Zusammenvulkanisierens der Enden 5 und 6 zu kühlen.

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Vorrichtung zum Zusammenvulkanisieren der beiden Enden einer Gummibahn, bei der das Anpressen der Verbindungsstelle an die eine Preßplatte einer Vulkanisierpresse durch ;einen in die Presse einzuführenden Heiztisch bewirkt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Heiztisch aus einer losen Heizplatte besteht, deren der Verbindungsstelle abgekehrte Seite mit einer Isolierschicht versehen sein kann.
