<Desc/Clms Page number 1> Verfahren zum Stumpfschweissen einer der Verbindung und gleichzeitigen Abdichtung der Verbindungsstellen von aus Kunststoff bestehenden Lüftungskanälen dienenden Muffe in Form eines Ringkörpers EMI1.1 <Desc/Clms Page number 2> gebracht, dass an ihr sowohl die Stirnkante des Stückes 7 des Lüftungskanales als auch die Stirnkante der Muffe 8 angelegtwerdenkönnen. Nach dem Aufheizen dieser Stirnkanten werden mittels des in einem für die Herstellung der Schweissnaht erforderlichen Abstand von den Stirnkanten der zu verbindenden Teile gelegten Spannrahmens 9, z. B. eines für Kisten zu verwendenden Metallbandes, der Kanal und die Muffe vorgespannt und in diesem Zustand stumpf verschweisst. Auf diese Weise wird die genaue Masshaltung der miteinander zu verbindenden Teile gewährleistet. Diese Masshaltung ist aber eine Voraussetzung für das Erreichen eines maximalen Dichtungseffektes.
Claims (1)
- PA TENT ANSPRUCH : Verfahren zum Stumpfschweissen einer der Verbindung und gleichzeitigen Abdichtung der Verbindungsstellen von aus Kunststoff bestehenden Lüftungskanälen dienenden Muffe in Form eines Ringkörpers, der an dem zu verbindenden Endstück des einen Kanales angesetzt und auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite mit einer Aussparung zum Einführen des Endstückes des andern Kanales sowie mit einer sich durch das Endstück schliessenden, der Aufnahme eines Verbindungsmittels dienenden Kammer versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zu verbindenden Flächen durch Anlegen an diebeiden Seiten einer dazwischengeschobenen Heizplatte aufgeheizt und die Endstücke sowie die Muffe nach Entfernen der Heizplatte durch einen bandagenartigen Spannrahmen bis zur leichten Durchbiegung ihrer Wandungen vorübergehend vorgespannt und in diesem Zustand stumpf geschweisst werden.
