Description

KLASSE 22: Farbstoffe, Firnisse, Lacke.
Dr. ED. SEELIG in DRESDEN. Verfahren zur Darstellung von Acetylchlorid und Benzoylchlorid aus Benzylacetat.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 8. Januar 1887 ab.
Behandelt man ein mittelst Oelbades auf 170 bis 18o° erhaltenes Benzylacetat mit Chlor,
so vollzieht sich eine der nachfolgenden Gleichung entsprechende Umsetzung:

"■ CO Cl + C2 H3 O Cl + 2 HCl.
Das Acetylchlorid wird zum Theil in abgekühlter Vorlage verdichtet, zum anderen Theil
bleibt es dem Benzoylchlorid beigemischt und wird gleichzeitig mit diesem durch Rectification
gereinigt.
