Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Becher aus Kunststoff, insbesondere zur Abnahme flüssiger oder pastöser Milchprodukte oder Nahrungsmittel, mit einer auf seinem Becherrand mittels einer Siegelschicht aufgesiegelten, die Bechermündung überspannenden und eine Aluminiumschicht enthaltenden Deckfolie.
Derartige Becher mit aufgesiegelter Deckfolie gehören zum Stand der Technik. Der Erfinder hat sich das Ziel gesetzt, eine Verbesserung des Verschlusses derartiger Behälter herbeizuführen sowie insbesondere ein ungewolltes Durchstoßen und Einreißen der Deckfolie zu unterbinden.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe führt eine Deckfolie aus einer weichen Aluminiumschicht hoher Dehnung und Festigkeit sowie einer Dicke von 15 bis 20 µm, auf die eine Papierschicht eines flächenspezifischen Gewichtes von 35 bis 50 g/mm² mit einer hohen Elastizität mittels eines elastischen Kaschierklebers aufkaschiert ist, wobei die Unterseite der Deckfolie eine Heißsiegelschicht mit definierter Schälfestigkeit aufweist.
Diese Verbund-Deckfolie, für die im Rahmen der Erfindung gesondert Schutz begehrt wird, löst die vom Erfinder gesehene Aufgabe in bestechender Weise - insbesondere dann, wenn die Deckfolie in einem begrenzten ringförmigen Bereich mit der Oberfläche des Becherrandes verbunden und eine umlaufende äußere Randzone von der Heißsiegelschicht freigehalten ist.
Dank der besonders reißfesten Ausgestaltung der Deckschicht ist es nun möglich, eine spezielle Ausbildung der Siegelnaht zu erzeugen; da im Siegelnahtbereich keine Kerbwirkung entsteht, kann die Aluminiumfolie durch Kerbwirkung auch nicht einreißen oder zerstört werden. Diese spezifische Ausgestaltung der Siegelnaht wiederum gestattet ein sicheres Trennen der Deckelfolie vom Becher und dadurch ein verbraucherfreundliches Abreißen bzw. Öffnen.
Außerdem hat es sich als günstig erwiesen, daß die Deckfolie im Verbund Aluminium/Papierschicht ein definiertes Dehnungs- und Spannungsverhalten aufweist, welches sogar ein problemloses Verarbeiten auf Verpackungsmaschinen mit Reckeinrichtung gestattet.
Weitere Vorteile, Merkmale und Einzelheiten der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels sowie anhand der Zeichnung; diese zeigt in:

Ein einstückig aus Kunststoff geformter Becher 10 für Joghurt od. dgl. Lebensmittel besteht aus einer etwa zylindrischen Becherwandung 11 an einer Bodenplatte 12 und einem radial von der Becherwandung 11 abkragenden, eine Bechermündung 13 umgebenden Becherrand 14.
Eine Sicke 17 bestimmt auf dem Becherrand 14 eine seitlich begrenzte Siegelzone für eine aufgesiegelte Deckfolie 20; letztere ist somit nicht vollflächig mit der Oberfläche des Becherrandes 14 verbunden, sondern nur im schmalen Bereich einer Sickenbreite b von beispielsweise 2 mm, der äußere Randbereich 15 des Becherrandes 14 ist somit nicht mit der Deckfolie 20 versiegelt.
Die Deckfolie 20 besteht aus einer weichen Aluminiumfolie bzw. -schicht 21 von 15µm Dicke mit spezieller Zusammensetzung zum Erreichen definierter technologischer Werte, einer darauf mittels eines elastischen Kaschierklebers 22 flächig kaschierten Papierschicht 23 mit spezieller Behandlung, die hohe Festigkeit und Elastizität aufweist sowie einer andererseits die Aluminiumfolie 23 überdeckenden Heißsiegelschicht 24 mit definierter Schälfestigkeit bei hoher Siegelnahtdichtigkeit (Fig. 4).
Diese in der Zeichnung im Verhältnis zum Becher 10 - oder den in Fig. 3 angedeuteten Maschinenteilen - mit überhöhter Dicke h dargestellte mehrschichtige Deckfolie 20 wird mittels eines Siegelwerkzeuges 30 aufgebracht, das an einer Druckfläche 31 mit einem der Sicke 17 entsprechenden Formring 32 versehen ist und Deckfolie 20 samt Becherrand 14 auf eine Gegenfläche 34 drückt.
Mit diesem Siegelwerkzeug 30 ist ein Verfahren zum dichten Verschließen des aus Kunststoff geformten Bechers 10 durchführbar; in beschriebener Weise wird auf den Becherrand 14 die mit der Heißsiegelschicht 24 versehene Deckfolie 20 aufgebracht sowie durch Druck und Hitze festgelegt. Dabei entsteht in der Deckfolie 20 eine ringartige Ausformung 27 sowie im Becherrand 14 jene Sicke 17, in die sich die Deckfolie 20 einschmiegt. Der außerhalb jener Ausformung 27 vorhandene Teil der Heißsiegelschicht 24 wird nicht aktiviert.
Die mehrschichtige Deckfolie 20 bietet in der beschriebenen Ausführung einen hohen Widerstand gegen ein Durchstoßen und Einreißen während des Öffnens des Bechers 10 an.
Zudem gestattet die Deckfolie 20 das Einbringen in die Sicke 17 des Becherrandes 14, ohne daß durch Kerbwirkung eine partielle Zerstörung oder Beschädigung der Deckfolie 20 zu befürchten ist.

Die Papierschicht 23 ist scharf satiniert, gebleicht und weist eine plane Kaschierqualität auf bei einem Flächengewicht von 35 bis 45 g/m², einer Dicke von 35 bis 40 µm und einem pH-Wert von 5,2 bis 7,0. Weitere Kenngrößen sind:

Claims (6)

1. Becher aus Kunststoff, insbesondere zur Aufnahme flüssiger oder pastöser Milchprodukte oder Nahrungsmittel, mit einer auf seinem Becherrand mittels seiner Siegelschicht aufgesiegelten, die Bechermündung überspannenden und eine Aluminiumschicht enthaltenden Deckfolie, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Deckfolie (20) aus einer weichen Aluminiumschicht (21) hoher Dehnung und Festigkeit sowie einer Dicke von 15 bis 20 µm besteht, auf die eine Papierschicht (23) eines flächenspezifischen Gewichtes von 35 bis 50 g/m² mit einer hohen Elastizität mittels eines elastischen Kaschierklebers (22) aufkaschiert ist, wobei die Unterseite der Deckfolie eine Heißsiegelschicht (24) mit definierter Schälfestigkeit aufweist.
2. Becher nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Deckfolie (20) in einem begrenzten ringförmigen Bereich (27) mit der Oberfläche des Becherrandes (14) verbunden und eine umlaufende äußere Randzone (15) von der Heißsiegelschicht (24) freigehalten ist.
3. Becher nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der ringförmige Bereich von einer Sicke (17) des Becherrandes (14) bestimmt ist, in welche sich eine Ausformung (27) der Deckfolie (20) einschmiegt.

Deckfolie für einen Becher nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Aluminiumschicht (21) neben Aluminium u. a. noch etwa 0,2% Si, 1,3 bis 1,4% Fe, 0,4 bis 0,5% Mn, 0,1% Zn enthält und die Papierschicht (23) scharf satiniert, gebleicht ist und eine plane Kaschierqualität aufweist, bei einem Flächengewicht von 35 bis 45 g/m², einer Dicke von 35 bis 40 µm und einem pH-Wert von 5,2 bis 7,0.
5. Deckfolie nach Anspruch 4, gekennzeichnet durch eine Papierschicht (23) mit Chloridgehalt, max. (%) 0,05 als NaCl Sulfatgehalt, max. (%) 0,3 als Na₂SO₄ Feuchtigkeitsgehalt (%) lt. Bestellung Luftdurchlässigkeitszahl n. BEKK 300 Glättezahl d. Kasch Seite n. BEKK 1700 Aschegehalt (%) -
