Description
BESCHREIBUNG
Die Erfindung betrifft eine wärmehärtbare in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung,
die geeignet ist zum Beschichten eines geformten bzw. pressgeformten mit Fiberglas bzw.
Glasfasern verstärkten wärmegehärteten Kunststoffs in der Form, wie ein Polyesterharz- oder ein Vinylesterharz-(FRP)-Formkörper
bzw. Pressling oder -Teil, bei der es gewöhnlich nicht erforderlich ist zwei oder mehrere Komponenten
unmittelbar vor der Anwendung zu kombinieren.
Ein Hauptnachteil der pressgeformten wärmegehärteten mit
Glasfasern verstärkten Polyester-(FRP)-Presslinge sind Fehler der Oberfläche, wie Löcher bzw. Pressfehler, Poren,
Oberflächenrisse, Welligkeit und Einsackstellen. Das überzugsverfahren in der Form der US-PS 4 081 578 überwindet
diese Fehler allgemein durch Formen eines wärmehärtbaren Materials mit geringer Viskosität auf dem FRP
in einem zweiten Form- bzw. Pres.sform-Arbeitsgang. Die
in <^er US-PS 4 081 578 beschriebene Zusammensetzung enthält
freie Hydroxyl- sowie Isocyanatgruppenr die miteinander
bei Raumtemperatur reagieren, wodurch eine begrenzte Topfzeit (etwa eine halbe Stunde) resultiert. In
der Praxis werden die reaktiven Bestandteile getrennt gehalten und nur unmittelbar vor der Anwendung vereint.
Hierdurch wird eine Doppel-Pumpausrüstung und eine genaue
Bemessungsvorrichtung notwendig, wodurch die Kosten und die Kompliziertheit des Systems gesteigert werden. Ein
Überzug aus einer einzigen Komponente würde somit einen beträchtlichen Vorteil bieten. Darüber hinaus verteilt
sich Russ nicht gut in in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzungen auf Isocyanatbasis, und es ist schwierig nach dem
Überziehen in der Form und dem anschliessenden elektrostatischen Anstrich eine gleichmässige Anstrichmittelschicht
zu erzielen.
Daher ist es ein Ziel der Erfindung, die aufgeführten

Schwierigkeiten zu überwinden und ein Verfahren zum Überziehen eines FRP-Presslings bzw. -Formkörpers in der Form
mit einer Einkomponenten-Überzugszusammensetzung bereitzustellen.
Ein weiteres Ziel der Erfindung ist die Bereitstellung einer Zusammensetzung, die zur Überzugsbildung in der
Form auf einem FRP-Pressling bzw. -Formkörper geeignet ist.

Ein weiteres Ziel der Erfindung ist die Bereitstellung eines gehärteten pressgeformten FRP-Presslings oder
-Teils mit einem anhaftenden Überzug, der in der Form aufgebracht wurde mit einer Einkomponenten-in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung.
Diese und andere Ziele bzw. Gegenstände und Vorteile der Erfindung sind aus der folgenden genaueren Beschreibung
und den Arbeitsbeispielen ersichtlich.
Erfindungsgemäss kann ein FRP-Formkörper bzw. -Pressling
in der Form unter Verwendung einer durch freie Radikale initiierten wärmehärtbaren Einkomponenten-Zusammensetzung
überzogen werden, aus
(a) 100 Gew.-Teilen mindestens eines polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis mit mindestens 2 Acrylatgruppen
und einem gewichtsmittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 500 bis 1500,
(b) etwa 80 bis 160 Gew.-Teilen mindestens eines copolymerisierbaren
ethylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren,
(c) etwa 10 bis 120 Gew.-Teilen mindestens einer copolymerisierbaren
monoethylenisch ungesättigten Verbindung mit einer -CO-Gruppe und einer -NH-, -NH- und/oder -OH-Gruppe,

(d) etwa 20 bis 90 Gew.-Teilen carboxyliertem Polyvinylacetat
mit einer Säurezahl von etwa 1,5 bis 4,
(e) etwa 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teilen mindestens eines Zink-
salzes einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen,
(f) etwa 0,01 bis 1,0 Gew.-Teilen mindestens eines Beschleunigers für einen Peroxidinitiator,
(g) etwa 5 bis 30 Gew.-Teilen leitfähigem Russ,
(h) etwa 50 bis 155 Gew.-Teilen eines Füllstoffs bzw. Füllmaterials,
(i) einer copolymerisierbaren oder cohärtbaren Diacrylatverbindung
mit einem gewichtsmittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 250 bis 5000, die mindestens ein Oligomeres auf
Polyoxyalkylen-glykol-Basis mit 2 Acrylatgruppen ist,
(j) mindestens einem copolymerisierbaren Tri- oder Tetraacrylat, mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa
250 bis 1000,
wobei (i) und (j) insgesamt etwa 5 bis 120 Gew.-Teile betragen und das Gewichtsverhältnis von (i) zu (j) etwa
10:1 bis 1:10 ist und
(k) mindestens einem Calciumsalz einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen in einer Menge von etwa
0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teilen.
Ein organischer freie-Radikale-Peroxidinitiator wird in
der Zusammensetzung in einer Menge von bis zu etwa 5, vorzugsweise bis zu 2 Gew.-%, basierend auf dem Gewicht
der polymerisierbaren ethylenisch ungesättigten Materialien, verwendet.

Die Zusammensetzung fliesst gut und ist für etwa eine
Woche stabil, selbst wenn sie das Peroxid enthält. Sie kann in einer kurzen Zeit geformt bzw. pressgeformt werden.
Der resultierende wärmegehärtete Überzug zeigt eine gute Adhäsion an verschiedenen FRP-Substraten und nimmt
zahlreiche Anstrich-Decküberzüge auf, wodurch es nicht notwendig ist eine Grundierung bzw. einen Primer zu verwenden

Auch wird Russ gut in der gesamten Zusammensetzung dispergiert, unter Bildung eines Überzugs in der Form, beim
Härten, der einem elektrostatischen Sprühanstrich unterzogen werden kann, unter Bildung eines gleichmässigen
Anstrichüberzugs oder -films. Durch den vorliegenden Überzug wird darüber hinaus im allgemeinen jegliche nachfolgende
Stufe der Grundierung des in-der-Form-Überzugs mit einem leitfähigen Primer bzw. einer leitfähigen Grundierung
vor dem elektrostatischen Anstrich ausgeräumt.
Die vorliegende in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung ergibt
eine verbesserte Härte und Beständigkeit gegen Lösungsmittel im Vergleich mit denen der vorstehend erwähnten
US-PS 4 414 173.
Im folgenden werden Einzelheiten und bevorzugte Ausführungsformen der Erfindung diskutiert.
(a) Das polymerisierbare Oligomere auf Epoxybasis mit mindestens 2 Acrylat- (oder Methacrylat- oder Ethacrylat-)
-Gruppen wird hergestellt durch Reaktion von Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure oder Ethacrylsäure usw. mit einem Oligomeren
auf Epoxybasis oder Harz, wie ein Bisphenol A-epoxy, ein Tetrabrom-bisphenol A-epoxy, phenolisches Novolakepoxy,
Tetraphenylolethan-epoxy, dicycloaliphatisches Epoxy usw. Gemische dieser Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis
können verwendet werden. Vorzugsweise verwendet man unter diesen Materialien ein Diacrylat mit endständigem

Bisphenol A-Epoxyoligomerem. Sie haben gewichtsmittlere
Molekulargewichte von etwa 500 bis L500. Diese Materialien

(b) Ein copolymerisierbares ethylenisch ungesättigtes Monomeres wird zur Copolymerisation mit den und zur Vernetzung
der polymerisierbaren Oligomeren verwendet und umfasst Styrol (bevorzugt), oC-Methylstyrol, Vinyltoluol,
t-Butylstyrol, Chlorstyrol, Methylmethacrylat, Diallylphthalat
(mit Styrol oder Methylmethacrylat und dergleichen), Triallylcyanurat, Triallylisocyanurat, Divinylbenzol,
Methylacrylat usw., und Gemische davon. Das ungesättigte Monomere wird in einer Menge von etwa 80 bis
160 Gew.-Teilen pro 100 Gew.-Teile des polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis verwendet.
(c) Zur weiteren Copolymerisation und Vernetzung und zur Verbesserung der Härte des resultierenden Überzugs wird
in der in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung eine mono-

ethylenisch ungesättigte Verbindung mit einer -C-Gruppe und mit einer -NH„, -NH- und/oder -OH-Gruppe verwendet.
Beispiele für solche monomere Verbindungen sind Hydroxypropyl-methacrylat (bevorzugt), Hydroxyethyl-methacrylat,
Hydroxyethylacrylat, Hydroxyethylcrotonat, Hydroxypropylacrylat, Hydroxy-polyoxypropylen-acrylat, Hydroxy-polyoxypropylen-methacrylat,
Hydroxy-polyoxyethylen-methacrylat; Acrylamid, Methacrylamid, N-Hydroxymethyl-acrylamid,
N-Hydroxymethyl-methacrylamid usw., und Gemische davon. Diese Verbindungen werden in einer Menge von etwa
10 bis 120 Gew.-Teilen pro 100 Gew.-Teile des polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis verwendet.

(d) Carboxyliertes Polyvinylacetat wird in der in-der-Form-Zusammensetzung
verwendet um die Haftung von Anstrichen und die Härte des in-der-Form-Überzugs auf dem
Substrat zu verbessern. Das carboxylierte Polyvinylacetat weist eine Säurezahl von etwa 1,5 bis 4 auf. Das carboxylierte
Polyvinylacetat wird in einer Menge von etwa 20 bis 90 Gew.-Teilen pro 100 Gew.-Teile des polymerisierbaren
Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis verwendet.
(e) Ein Zinksalz einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen wird ebenfalls in der in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung
verwendet und scheint als ein Entformungsmittel sowie als ein zweiter Beschleuniger zur
Härtung zu funktionieren. Fettsäuren sind bekannt. Vergleiche "Organic Chemistry," Fieser und Fieser,
D.C. Heath and Company, Boston, 1944, Seiten 88, 381-390, 398 und 401 und "Hackh's Chemical Dictionary," Grant,
McGraw Hill Book Company, New York, 1969, Seite 261. Gemische von Zinksalzen der Fettsäuren können verwendet
werden. Beispiele für einige Zinksalze sind Zinkpalmitat,
Zinkstearat, Zinkricinoleat und dergleichen. Vorzugsweise verwendet man das Zinksalz einer gesättigten Fettsäure,
wie Zinkstearat. Vergleiche auch "Whittington1s

261. Das Zinksalz wird in einer Menge von etwa 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teilen pro 100 Gew.-Teile des polymerisierbaren
Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis verwendet.
(f) Ein Beschleuniger wird für den Peroxidinitiator verwendet und ist ein Material, wie ein Trockner (Drier),
z.B. Cobaltoctoat (bevorzugt). Andere Materialien die verwendet werden können sind Zinknaphthenat, Bleinaphthenat,
Cobaltnaphthenat und Mangannaphthenat. Lösliche Co-, Mn- und Pb-Salze von Linolsäure können ebenfalls
verwendet werden. Es können auch Gemische von Beschleunigern verwendet werden. Der Beschleuniger wird in einer

Menge von etwa 0,01 bis 1 Gew.-Teil pro 100 Gew.-Teile des polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis verwendet.
(g) Leitfähig^** Russ wird in

(h) Ein Füllstoff bzw. Füllmaterial wird in der in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung
in einer Menge von etwa 50 bis 155 Gew.-Teilen pro 100 Gew.-Teile des polymerisierbaren
Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis verwendet. Beispiele für Füllstoffe sind Ton, MgO, Mg(OH)2, CaCO3, Siliciumdioxid,
Calciumsilicat, Glimmer, Aluminiumhydroxid, Bariumsulfat, Talkum, hydratisiertes Siliciumdioxid, Magnesiumcarbonat und
Gemische davon. Die Füllstoffe sollten fein verteilt sein. Es ist bevorzugt unter diesen Füllstoffen Talkum
zu verwenden. Die Füllstoffe können der in-der-Form-Zusammensetzung
die gewünschte Viskosität und den gewünschten Fluss für die Formung verleihen und zu gewünschten
physikalischen Eigenschaften des resultierenden wärmegehärteten
in-der-Form-Überzugs beitragen. Füllstoffe können auch die Adhäsion verbessern. Es sollte sorgfältig
bei der Verwendung höherer Füllstoffgehalte umgegangen werden, da dies zu hohen Viskositäten und zu
Schwierigkeiten beim Fluss und der Handhabung führen kann.
(i) Darüber hinaus wird in der in-der-Form-überzugszusammensetzung
eine copolymerisierbare oder cohärtbare bzw. mithärtbare Diacrylatverbindung mit einem gewichtsmittleren
Molekulargewicht von etwa 250 bis 5000 verwendet, bei der es sich um mindestens ein Oligomeres auf
Polyoxyalkylen-glykol-Basis mit 2 Acrylatgruppen handelt.
Beispiele für diese Diacrylatverbindungen umfassen Triethylen-glykol-diacrylat, Tetraethylen-glykol-diacrylat,
Tetraethylen-glykol-dimethacrylat, Polyethylen-glykoldiacrylat, Polypropylen-glykol-diacrylat, Polyethylen-

glykol-dimethacrylat oder Polyoxyethylen-glykol-dimethacrylat (bevorzugt), Polypropylen-glykol-dimethacrylat,
Polyethylen-propylen-glykol-diacrylat, usw. und Gemische davon. Diese Acrylate können hergestellt werden durch
Reaktion von Polyoxyalkylen-glykolen, wie Polypropylenether-glykol
mit Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure und dergleichen, oder durch Umesterung bzw. Esteraustausch.
(j) In der in-der-Form-Zusammensetzung wird auch zur
Verbesserung der Härte, ohne die Adhäsion eines Anstrichmittels nachteilig zu beeinflussen, ein copolymerisierbares
Tri- oder Tetraacrylat verwendet, wie das Reaktionsprodukt von Acryl- und/oder Methacrylsäure bzw. -säuren
mit Triolen oder Tetrolen, wie Glycerin, Trimethylolpropan, Hexantriol, Pentaerythrit und dergleichen. Diese
Materialien können auch durch Umesterung erhalten werden, beispielsweise durch Reaktion von Ethylacrylat und den
Polyolen. Andere Polyole können verwendet werden, wie die Ethylenoxid- und/oder Propylenoxid-Addukte dieser
Polyole, wie 1,2,3-Tri-(2-hydroxy-propoxy)-propan ("CP-260,"
Molekulargewicht etwa 260, Dow Chemical Co.), "Pluracol" PEP 650 (Propylenoxid-Addukt von Pentaerythrit, Äquivalentgewicht
etwa 148,1, BASF Wyandotte), "Pluracol" TP 340 (Propylenoxid-Addukt von Trimethylolpropan, Äquivalentgewicht
etwa 101,1, BASF Wyandotte) usw. und Gemische davon. Beispiele für einige dieser Acrylate sind
Trimethylolpropan-triacrylat, Pentaerythrit-triacrylat,
Pentaerythrit-tetraacrylat, Trimethylolpropan-trimethacrylat (bevorzugt) usw. Gemische dieser Tri- und Tetraacrylate
können verwendet werden. Diese Acrylate weisen mittlere Molekulargewichte von etwa 250 bis 1000 auf.
(i) und (j) betragen insgesamt etwa 5 bis 120 Gew.-Teile pro 100 Gew.-Teile des polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf
Epoxybasis, und das Gewichtsverhältnis von (i) zu (j) liegt bei etwa 10:1 bis 1:10.

Da einige dieser reaktiven Polyacrylate hergestellt werden können durch Reaktion ungesättigter Säuren und Alkohole,
können sie einige OH- und/oder COOH-Gruppen enthalten.
Die vorstehenden Acrylatverbindungen scheinen die Härte des in-der-Form-Überzugs zu verbessern und die Brüchigkeit
zu verringern.
(k) Ein Calciumsalz einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, in einer Menge von etwa 0,2 bis 5
Gew.-Teilen Calciumsalz pro 100 Gew.-Teile des polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis, wird in der in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung
als Entformungsmittel und zur Steuerung der Härtungsgeschwindigkeit bzw. des Härtungsausmasses
verwendet. Fettsäuren sind bekannt, wie vorstehend erwähnt. Gemische von Calciumsalzen der Fettsäurenkönnen
verwendet werden. Beispiele für einige CaI-ciumsalze sind Calciumstearat, Calciumpalmitat, Calciumoleat
und dergleichen. Vorzugsweise verwendet man das Calciumsalz einer gesättigten Fettsäure, wie Calciumstearat.
Ein organischer freie-Radikale-Initiator oder freie Radikale
erzeugender Initiator (Katalysator), wie ein Peroxid, wird verwendet, um die Polymerisation, Copolymerisation
und/oder Vernetzung der ethylenisch ungesättigten Oligomeren und der anderen ethylenisch ungesättigten Materialien
zu katalysieren. Beispiele für freie-Radikale-Initiatoren
umfassen tert-Butylperbenzoat, tert-Butylperoctoat in Diallylphthalat, Diacetylperoxid in Dimethylphthalat,
Dibenzoylperoxid, Di-(p-chlorbenzoyl)-peroxid in Dibutylphthalat, Di-(2,4-dichlorbenzoyl)-peroxid mit
Dibutylphthalat, Dilauroylperoxid, Methylethylketon-peroxid,
Cyclohexanonperoxid in Dibutylphthalat, 3,5-Dihydroxy-3,4-dimethyl-l,2-dioxacyclopentan,
t-Butylperoxy-(2-ethylhexanoat), Caprylylperoxid, 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di-(benzoylperoxy)-hexan,
1-Hydroxycyclohexyl-hydroperoxid-l,

t-Butylperoxy-(2-ethylbutyrat), 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-bis-(t-butylperoxy)-hexan,
Cumylhydroperoxid, Diacetylperoxid, t-Buty!hydroperoxid, Di-tert-butylperoxid, 3,5-Dihydroxy-3,5-dimethyl-l,2-oxacyclopentan
und 1,1-bis-(t-Butylperoxy)-3,3,5-trimethyl-cyclohexan
und dergleichen, und Gemische davon. Manchmal ist es günstig Gemische von Initiatoren
zu verwenden um Vorteil aus ihren unterschiedlichen Zersetzungsraten und -zeiten bei verschiedenen
Temperaturen usw. zu ziehen. Bevorzugt verwendet man als Initiator tert-Butylperbenzoat. Der Peroxidinitiator
sollte in ausreichender Menge verwendet werden, um die Wirkung des Inhibitors zu überwinden und um eine Vernetzung
oder Härtung der ethylenisch ungesättigten Materialien zu bewirken. Im allgemeinen wird der Peroxidinitiator
in einer Menge von bis zu etwa 5, vorzugsweise bis zu etwa 2, Gew.-% , basierend auf dem Gewicht der in
der in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung verwendeten ethylenisch ungesättigten Materialien verwendet.
Die vorstehend erwähnten ungesättigten Materialien werden somit in ausreichender Menge verwendet, um beim
Härten (z.B. Polymerisation, Copolymerisation und/oder Vernetzung) eine wärmegehärtete Zusammensetzung zu ergeben.
Um eine vorzeitige Gelbildung der ethylenisch ungesättigten Materialien zu verhindern und um eine verbesserte
Lagerzeit oder Lagerfähigkeit zu ergeben, werden Inhibitoren
in gewünschter Menge zu der Zusammensetzung gefügt oder werden vor der Verwendung in den Ausgangsmaterialien
bereitgestellt. Beispiele für Inhibitoren sind Hydrochinon, 'Benzochinon, p-t-Butylbrenzcatechin und dergleichen
und Gemische davon.
Die in-der-Form-Zusammensetzung kann zusätzlich gegebenenfalls mit anderen Entformungsmitteln, Antizersetzungsmitteln,
UV-Absorbern, Paraffinwachs, festen Glas- oder

Harz-Mikrokügelchen, Verdickungsmittelη, Zusätzen die eine
geringe Schrumpfung ergeben sollen und dergleichen, vermischt bzw. kompoundiert werden. Diese Kompoundierungsbestandteile
sollten in Mengen verwendet werden, die ausreichen um zufriedenstellende Ergebnisse zu ergeben. Es
ist nicht günstig in der in-der-Form-Zusammensetzung gemäss
der Erfindung Materialien, wie Butadien-Styrol-Blockcopolymere
oder Fettalkoholphosphate zu verwenden.
Zur erleichterten Handhabung können Materialien, wie carboxyliertes Polyvinylacetat in einem reaktiven Monomeren,
wie Styrol, gelöst werden. Die Viskosität der Oligomeren kann durch Verdünnen mit Styrol und dergleichen
verringert werden. Die Bestandteile der in-der-Form-Zusammensetzung
sollten gut vermischt und bei Umgebungsoder Raumtemperatur oder Temperaturen unter der Polymerisationstemperatur
gehandhabt werden, so dass sie leicht zu der Form gepumpt und in diese eingespritzt werden können.
Die Bestandteile können vor oder während des Mischens erwärmt oder erhitzt werden und in Stufen vermischt
werden, um ein sorgfältiges Vermischen, Dispergieren und Auflösen zu erleichtern. Auch kann die Masse
der Bestandteile sorgfältig vermischt und der Rest einschliesslich des Katalysators getrennt vermischt werden,
und anschliessend können beide zu einem Mischkopf gepumpt werden, um miteinander vermischt und dann in die
Form eingespritzt zu v/erden.
Mit dem Peroxidinitiator oder -katalysator zeigt die inder-Form-Zusammensetzung
eine Lebensdauer bei Raumtemperatur (etwa 25°C) von etwa einer Woche, und ohne den Initiator'weist
sie eine Lebensdauer von mehreren Monaten bei Raumtemperatur auf. Vorzugsweise wird der Initiator
zu der Zusammensetzung unmittelbar vor dem Formen bzw. Pressformen gefügt und sorgfältig damit vermischt.
Sämtliche Bestandteile der in-der-Form-Überzugszusammen-

Setzung sollten trocken gehalten werden oder eine minimale
Feuchtigkeitsmenge aufweisen oder sollte der Wassergehalt so gesteuert werden, dass reproduzierbare Ergebnisse
erzielt werden und die Porenbildung verhindert wird. 5
Das Vermischen der Bestandteile der in-der-Form-Zusammensetzung
sollte sorgfältig erfolgen. Für den in-der-Form-Überzug können Spritz- bzw. Spritzgussvorrichtungen,
Formpressvorrichtungen, Press-Spritzvorrichtüngen oder andere Formungsvorrichtungen oder -maschinen zur Ausbildung
des in-der-Form-Überzugs verwendet werden. Formungsvorrichtungen und Methoden werden beispielsweise beschrieben
in den US-PSen 4 076 780, 4 076 788, 4 081 578, 4 082 486, 4 189 517, 4 222 929, 4 245 006, 4 239 796,
4 239 808 und 4 331 735. Vergleiche auch "Proceedings of the Thirty-Second Annual Conference Reinforced

auf das Substrat aufgetragen und bei einer Temperatur von etwa 143 bis 154,50C (290 bis 3100F) und einem Druck von
etwa 6,895 χ 10 Pa (1000 p.s.i.) während etwa 0,5 bis 3 min gehärtet werden.
Die Verfahren und Produkte gemäss der Erfindung können
zur Herstellung von Kraftfahrzeugteilen, wie Kühler- und Frontlampen-Anordnungen, Motorhauben, Kotflügel, Türverkleidungen
und Dächer, sowie bei der Herstellung von Nahrungsmittelbehälter, Geräte bzw. Gerätebestandteile,
elektrische Bestandteile, Möbel, Maschinenabdeckungen und Schutzeinrichtungen, Badezimmerbestandteile, Baupaneele
bzw. Bretter bzw. Platten usw., verwendet werden. Der mit Glasfasern verstärkte, wärmegehärtete Kunststoff
(FRP), wie das Polyesterharz oder Vinylesterharz und das

Glasfaser-Zusammensetzungs-Substrat, auf den die in-der-Form-Zusammensetzung
aufgetragen wird, kann eine Folien-Formungsverbindung (SMC) oder eine Massen-Formungsverbindung
(BMC)
oder ein anderes wärmehärtbares FRP-Material sein, wie
eine hochfeste Formungsverbindung (HMC) oder eine dicke Formungsverbindung. Das FRP-Substrat kann etwa 10 bis
75 Gew.-% Glasfasern aufweisen. Die SMC-Verbindung enthält gewöhnlich etwa 25 bis 30 Gew.-% Glasfasern, während
die HMC-Verbindung etwa 55 bis 60 Gew.-% Glasfasern enthalten kann. Das mit Glasfasern verstärkte wärmegehärtete
Kunststoff-Substrat (FRP) kann steif oder halbsteif (kann einen flexiblen Rest, wie eine Adipatgruppe in dem
Polyester enthalten) sein. Das Substrat kann auch andere flexibelmachende Polymere, Elastomere und Plastomere, wie
die Styrol-Butadien-Blockcopolymeren, enthalten. Ungesättigte Polyester-Glasfaser- wärmegehärtete Materialien
sind bekannt, wie aus "Modem Plastics Encyclopedia," 1975-1976, Oktober, 1975, Band 52, Nr. 1OA, McGraw-Hill,

Die erfindungsgemässen Zusammensetzungen können eine gute Pumpfähigkeit und Fliessfähigkeit in der Form aufweisen.
Sie können zu einer raschen Härtung bei so niedrigen Zeiten wie 50 bis 90 sek bei 149°C (3000F) führen. Sie
haben auch eine gute Adhäsion für Anstrichmittel und können nicht nur als in-der-Form-Überzug zur Bedeckung von
Fehlern verwendet werden, sondern auch als gute leitfähige Überzüge für elektrostatische Anstrichmittel sowie
als Grundierungen für die meisten Anstrichmittel-Decksy-

sterne, wie lösliche Acryllacke, acrylische Dispersionslacke, Acrylemails auf Wasserbasis, gelöste Acrylemails
mit hohem Feststoffgehalt, nicht-wässerige Acryldispersionen und Urethane.
Das folgende Beispiel dient zur Erläuterung der Erfindung. In dem Beispiel beziehen sich, falls nicht anders
angegeben, Teile auf das Gewicht.

Wenn die in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung an einem
SMC (FRP)-Substrat in einer Form während 60 sek bei 149°C (3000F) und 6,895 χ ΙΟ6 Pa (100 p.s.i.) gehärtet wurde,
erhielt man folgende Eigenschaften bei Untersuchung des Überzugs (0,00 381 cm bzw. 1,5 mil Dicke):
Bleistifthärte* bei etwa 23,90C (etwa 750F) F bis H
Bleistifthärte* bei 143-1490C (290-3000F) 3B
Lösungsmittelbeständigkeit (Reibetest, Abrieb des Überzugs)
Methylethylketon gut
Methylenchlorid gut
Ransberg Meterablesung (oberes Ende der
Skala) 165+
Im Vergleich mit einer ähnlichen in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung,
in der Polyvinylacetat anstelle des carboxy-
-22-
lierten Polyvinylacetats verwendet wurde und bei der sämtliches Trimethylol-propan-trimethacrylat ersetzt war
durch eine gleiche Menge an Polyoxyethylen-glykol-600-dimethacrylat,
erhielt man einen in-der-Form-Überzug auf einem SMC (FRP)-Substrat mit folgenden Ergebnissen:
Bleistifthärte* bei etwa 23,9°C (etwa 75°F) F Bleistifthärte* bei 143-149°C (290-3000F) 6B
Lösungsmittelbeständigkeit (Abriebtest) Methylethylketon " brauchbar

Zusammensetzung, geeignet als wärmehärtbare Überzugszusammensetzung, enthaltend:(a) 100 Gew.-Teile mindestens eines polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis mit mindestens 2 Acrylatgruppen und einem gewichtsmittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 500 bis 1500,(b) etwa 80 bis 160 Gew.-Teile mindestens eines copolymerisierbaren ethylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren,_1 _München-Bogenhausen, Poschingerstraße 6 · Telegramm: Chemindus München · Telefon: (089) 98 32 22 · Telex: 5 23 992 (abitz d)(c) etwa 10 bis 120 Gew.-Teile mindestens einer copolymerisierbaren monoethylenisch ungesättigten Verbindung mit einer -CO-Gruppe und einer -NH2, -NH- und/oder -OH-Gruppe,(d) etwa 20 bis 90 Gew.-Teile carboxyliertes Polyvinylacetat mit einer Säurezahl von etwa 1,5 bis 4,(e) etwa 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teile mindestens eines Zinksalzes einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen,(f) etwa 0,01 bis 1,0 Gew.-Teile mindestens eines Beschleunigers für einen Peroxidinitiator,(g) etwa 5 bis 30 Gew.-Teile leitfähigen Russ,(h) etwa 50 bis 155 Gew.-Teile eines Füllstoffs,(i) eine copolymerisierbare oder cohärtbare Diacrylatverbindung mit einem gewichtsmittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 250 bis 5000, bei der es sich um mindestens ein Polyoxyalkylen-glykol-oligomeres mit 2 Acrylatgruppen handelt und(j) mindestens ein copolymerisxerbares Tri- oder Tetraacrylat mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 250 bis 1000,wobei (i) und (j) insgesamt etwa 5 bis 120 Gew.-Teile betragen und das Gewichtsverhältnis von (i) zu (j) etwa 10:1 bis 1:10 ist und(k) mindestens ein Calciumsalz einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen in einer Menge von etwa 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teilen.2. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, enthaltend zusätzlich-2-mindestens einen organischen freie-Radikale-Peroxidinitiator in einer Menge von bis zu etwa 5 Gew.-%, basierend auf dem Gewicht der polymerisierbaren ethylenisch ungesättigten Materialien.3. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, worin (h) Talkum umfasst.4. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, worin 10(a) ein Diacrylatester eines flüssigen Bisphenol A-Epoxyharzes ist,(b) Styrol ist,
15(c) Hydroxypropylmethacrylat ist,(e) Zinkstearat ist,
(f) Kobaltoctoat ist,
(h) Talkum ist,(i) Polyoxyethylen-glykol-dimethacrylat mit einem MoIekulargewicht von etwa 770 ist,(j) Trimethylolpropan-trimethacrylat ist und(k) Calciumstearat ist.
305. Verfahren zur Beschichtung einer geformten bzw. pressgeformten wärmegehärteten Polyesterharz- oder einer wärmegehärteten Vinylesterharz-Glasfaserzusammensetzung, enthaltend etwa 10 bis 75 Gew.-% Glasfasern, in der Form, mit einer wärmehärtbaren in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung unter Druck, bei einer Temperatur und während eines Zeitraums, die ausreichen um die in-der-Form-Über--3-GT-2420 -4- 3AA 107Zugszusammensetzung zu härten, unter Bildung eines anhaftenden wärmegehärtenden Überzugs auf der geformten bzw. pressgeformten wärmegehärteten Harz-Glasfaser-Zusammensetzung, wobei die in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung enthält:(a) 100 Gew.-Teile mindestens eines polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis mit mindestens 2 Acrylatgruppen und einem gewichtsmittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 500 bis 1500,(b) etwa 80 bis 160 Gew.-Teile mindestens eines copolymerisierbaren ethylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren,(c) etwa 10 bis 120 Gew.-Teile mindestens einer copolymerisierbaren monoethylenisch ungesättigten Verbindung mit einer -CO-Gruppe und einer -NH2, -NH- und/oder -OH-Gruppe,(d) etwa 20 bis 90 Gew.-Teile carboxyliertes Polyvinylacetat mit einer Säurezahl von etwa 1,5 bis 4,(e) etwa 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teile mindestens eines Zinksalzes einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoff-atomen,(f) etwa 0,01 bis 1,0 Gew.-Teile mindestens eines Beschleunigers für einen Peroxidinitiator,(g) etwa 5 bis 30 Gew.-Teile leitfähigen Russ,(h) etwa 50 bis 155 Gew.-Teile eines Füllstoffs,(i) eine copolymerisxerbare oder cohärtbare Diacrylatverbindung mit einem gewichtsmittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 250 bis 5000, bei der es sich um mindestens ein-4-GT-2420 -5- 3 A4 1073Polyoxyalkylen-glykol-oligomeres mit 2 Acrylatgruppen handelt,(j) mindestens ein copolymerisierbares Tri- oder Tetraacrylat mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 250 bis 1000,wobei (i) und (j) insgesamt etwa 5 bis 120 Gew.-Teile betragen und das Gewichtsverhältnis von (i) zu (j) etwa 10:1 bis 1:10 ist,(k) mindestens ein Calciumsalz einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen in einer Menge von etwa 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teilen undmindestens einen organischen freie-Radikale-Peroxidinitiator in einer Menge von bis zu etwa 5 Gew.-%, basierend auf dem Gewicht der polymerisierbaren ethylenisch ungesättigten Materialien.6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, worin (h) Talkum umfasst.7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, worin(a) ein Diacrylatester eines flüssigen Bisphenol A-Expoxyharzes ist,(b) Styrol ist,(c) Hydroxypropylmethacrylat ist,(e) Zinkstearat ist,(f) Kobaltoctoat ist,
(h) Talkum ist,(i) Polyoxyethylen-glykol-dimethacrylat mit einem MoIe--5-kulargewicht von etwa 770 ist,(j) Trimethylolpropan-trimethacrylat ist, (k) Calciumstearat ist undder Initiator tert-Butylperbenzoat ist.8. Schichtstoff bzw. Laminat, enthaltend eine anhaftende wärmegehärtete in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung, die in der Form auf eine geformte wärmegehärtete Polyesterharz- oder wärmegehärtete Vinylesterharz-Glasfaserzusammensetzung, die etwa 10 bis 75 Gew.-% Glasfasern enthält, aufgeschichtet wurde, wobei die in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung das Reaktionsprodukt von 100 Gew.-Teilen mindestens eines polymerisierbaren Oligomeren auf Epoxybasis mit mindestens 2 Acrylatgruppen und einem gewichtsmittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 500 bis 1500, etwa 80 bis 160 Gew.-Teilen mindestens eines copolymerisierbaren ethylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren, etwa 10 bis 120 Gew.-Teilen mindestens einer copolymerisierbaren monoethylenisch ungesättigten Verbindung mit einer -CO-Gruppe und einer -NH9, -NH- und/oder -OH-Gruppe, (I) einer copolymerisierbaren oder cohärtbaren Diacrylatverbindung mit einem gewichtsmittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 250 bis 5000, bei der es sich um mindestens ein Polyoxyalkylenglykol-oligomeres mit 2 Acrylatgruppen handelt, (II) mindestens einemcopolymerisierbaren Tri- oder Tetraacrylat mit einem mittleren Molekulargewicht von etwa 250 bis 1000, wobei (I) und (II) insgesamt etwa 5 bis 120 Gew,-Teile betragen und das Gewichtsverhältnis von (I) zu (II) etwa 10:1 bis 1:10 ist, im Gemisch mit etwa 20 bis 90 Gew.-Teilen carboxyliertem Polyvinylacetat mit einer Säurezahl von etwa 1,5 bis 4, etwa 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teilen mindestens eines Zinksalzes einer Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, mindestens einem Calciumsalz einer-6-Fettsäure mit mindestens 10 Kohlenstoffatomen in einer Menge von etwa 0,2 bis 5 Gew.-Teilen, etwa 5 bis 30 Gew.-Teilen leitfähigem Russ und etwa 50 bis 155 Gew.-Teilen eines Füllstoffes, umfaßt.9. Schichtstoff nach Anspruch 8, worin in der in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung der Füllstoff Talkum umfasst.10. Schichstoff nach Anspruch 8, worin in der in-der-Form-Überzugszusammensetzung,das Oligomere auf Epoxybasis ein Diacrylatester eines flüssigen Bisphenol A-Epoxyharzes ist,das ethylenisch ungesättigte Monomere Styrol ist,die monoethylenisch ungesättigte Verbindung Hydroxypropylmethacrylat ist,die copolymerisierbare oder cohärtbare Diacrylatverbindung(I) Polyoxyethylen-glykol-dimethacrylat mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 770 ist, das Tri- oder Tetraacrylat(II) Trimethylolpropan-trimethacrylat ist, der Füllstoff Talkum umfasst, das Zinksalz Zinkstearat ist und das Calciumsalz Calciumstearat ist.-7-
