Claims (7)
1. Zusatz für Futtermittel für Wiederkäuer, der ein Salz von Propionsäure umfaßt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Salz ein
basisches Salz von Propionsäure mit einem pH von 8-14 ist.
2. Zusatz nach Anspruch 1, worin das Salz Kationen, ausgewählt
unter Ai
enthält.
unter Ammonium und Metallionen der Gruppe I und Gruppe II,
3. Zusatz nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, worin das Salz ein basisches Propionatsalz von Ammonium, Natrium, Kalium, Calcium oder
Magnesium mit einem pH-Wert von 8-12 ist.
4. Zusatz nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin das basische Propionatsalz einen Überschuß an Hydroxylionen aufweist.
5. Zusatz nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin das basische Propionatsalz einem Futterkonzentrat in einer Menge von
0,5 - 50% Gew./Gew. des Konzentrats, mit dem der Wiederkäuer gefüttert wird, zugefügt wird.
6. Zusatz nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin das basische Propionatsalz in einer Menge von 0,1 - 20% Gew./Gew. der
gesamten Trockensubstanz in dem Futter vorhanden ist.
7. Zusatz nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, worin das darin verwendete basische Propionatsalz hergestellt wird durch
Mischen von Natriumhydroxid mit Magnesiumoxid und/oder Calciumoxid und anschließendes Umsetzen der so gebildeten Mischung mit weniger
als einem molaren Äquivalent von Propionsäure.
