Description

  • Verbindung von Fördergurtenden
  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verbindung von aneinander stoßenden Enden von Fördergurten aus Gummi oder gummiähnlichem Kunststoff mit zwei durch eine Gummischicht getrennte Gewebeeinlagen und wobei die Fördergurtenden abgestuft und angepaßt ineinander liegen, die mittlere Gummischicht in beide Gurtenden hinein entfernt ist und in diesen Freiraum eine verbindende gummierte Gewebeeinlage eingelegt ist.
  • Verbindungen von Fördergurtenden mit dem vorstehend beschriebenen Aufbau sind aus der US-PS 3 224 566 bekannt.
  • Derartige Verbindungen erfordern eine genaue Beachtung der lierstellungsvorschriften, damit die Verbindung sich homogen in den Fördergurt einfügt. Nur so läßt sich eine negative Auswirkung der Verbindung beim Laufen des Förderbandes vermeiden. Dennoch wird durch die in der Verbindung liegende zusätzliche Gewebeeinlage eine Versteifung des Fördergurtes in dieser Zone nicht vermieden. Die Folge ist, daß der Fördergurt zu unerwünschten Schwingungen neigt.
  • Nachteilig ist außerdem, daß die Verbindungsstelle einen erhöhten Widerstand gegenüber einer aufgezwungen Meldung aufweist. Schließlich isteauch erforderlich, eine relativ lange Verbindung vorzusehen, um eine so kräftige Verbindung zu erhalten, daß ihre Zugbelastbarkeit nicht geringer als die des Gurtes wird0 Derartige Verbindungen können üblicherweise durch Heißvulkanisation oder durch Verkleben hergestellt werden0 Wegen der Gummischichten, die das verbindende Gewebestück erfordert, kann aber in der Regel eine Vulkanisierung unter Druck nicht vermied'en werden.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Verbindung mit dem eingangs beschriebenen Aufbau zu schaffen, bei der die genannten Nachteile vermieden werden. Dabei soll eine Verbindung geschaffen werden, die bei gleichwertiger Zugfestigkeit gegenüber dem Gurt, eine unveränderte l!fuldungsfähigkeit sicherstellt und die außerdem eine Verdickung des Fördergurtes in der Verbindungszone vermeidet.
  • Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe besteht erfindungsgemäß darin, daß die Gewebeeinlage aus einer in Bandrichtung verlaufenden Schicht aus Cordfäden aus aromatischen Polyamid hestellt und die Cordfäden einen Durchmesser von ca. 1 mm und eine Bruchdehnung von maximal ca. 5 % aufweisen.
  • Durch die Verwendung einer derartigen besoitderen Cordfadenschicht auf Aramidbasis kann zunächst erreicht werden, daß die Zugfestigkeit der Verbindung der Zugfestigkeit des Fördergurtes gleichkommt, in der Regel sogar noch übertrifft0 Aramid besitzt bekanntlich eine außerordentlich hohe Belastungsfähigkeit in Zugrichtung. Diese hohe Belastbarkeit in Zugrichtung wird schon durch eine einzige Cordfadenschicht erreicht, Die Cordfäden können einen geringen Durchmesser unter 1,5 mm aufweisen. Dementslrrchend entsteht auch nur eine geringe Schichtdicke.
  • Das Unterbringen einer solchen Cordfadenschicht in den Verbindungsraum zwischen den beiden Gewebelagen des Fördergurtes macht daher keinerlei Schwierigkeiten0 Darüber hinaus können die Cordfäden zusätzlich mit einer verhältnismäßig dünnen Kautschukmischungsschi cht bzw. Gummis chicht versehen sein. Die Guunmischicht kann sogar dazu beitragen, die Zug und Biegebeanspruchungen gleichmäßig in der Verbindungszone zu verteilen. Mit Itücksicht auf die verhältnismäßig niedrige Bruchdehnung, die deutlich unter 5 % liegen.
  • kann1 ergibt sich auch eine über die ganze Fläche gesehen vorteilhafte Haf bwirRung, durch die eine gleichmäßige Belastung aller Flachenelemente gewährleistet wird.
  • lnfolge dieser geringen Dehnungsfähigkeit bis zur Bruchbelastung kann die Verbindung auch relativ kurz gehalten werden. Hierfür ist auch die Wahl der Gummimischung für das verbindende Cordgewebe von Bedeutung. Die Gummischicht sollte daher eine mittlere Shore-Härte aufweisen In besonderen Fällen kann es auch von Nutzen sein, wenn an Stelle einer Cordfadenschicht eine Doppellage von Cordfadenschichten zum Einsatz kommt. In diesem Fall sollten die Cordfäden in einem kleinen Winkel zur Längsrichtung verlaufen, wobei die eine Fadenschicht zur einen Seite und die andere Schicht zur anderen Seite geneigt ist. Ein solches Schichtenpaket könnte als Gewebe ausgebildet sein.
  • Für Fördergurte üblicher Abmessungen und üblicher Belastbarkeit des obengenannten Zwei-Lagentyps reichen Cordfäden für die verbindende Schicht aus, wenn sie ca. 1 mm Durchmesser und etwa 5 - 10 Fäden pro cm Cordschichtbreite haben.
  • Der Abstand kann relativ gering sein. Die mit HaftimprägnierunE versehenen Cordfäden können ohne weiteres die auftretenden Kräfte über die Gummischicht aufnehmen. Die Cordfäden können beispielsweise aus 3 Fäden gezwirut sein. Es ist aber auch eine Zwirnung aus 2 oder mehr als 3 Fäden möglich. Die für die Cordfäden verwendeten Fasern weisen einen dtex-Wert zwischen in500 und 2.000 auf. Kleinere Abweichungen hiervon sind hinnehmbar. Das Fasermaterial ist in der Firmenschrift t'Kevlar" von Du Pont eingehend beschrieben0 Die Herstellung der Verbindung kaml bei Anwendung dieses Cordfadenschichtmaterials sowohl durch Kaltklebung als auch durch Vulkanisation durchgeführt werden.
  • Die Erfindung wird in Verbindung mit einer Abbildung beispielsweise beschrieben. Die Abb. zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch eine Verbindung. Das Förderbandende 1 wird dabei mit einem Förderbandende 2 verbunden.
  • Beide Förderbänder bestehen aus je einer Deckschicht 3 und 4, je einer Gewebeeinlage 5 und 6 und einer die Gewebeeinlage 5 und 6 trennenden Gummischicht 7. Zur Herstellung der Verbindung der beiden Enden wird eine Abstufung vorgesehen, die bei den beiden Enden 1 und 2 symmetrisch ist. Die Gummischicht 7 wird an beiden Enden in einer kleinen Zone 8 und 9 entfernt. Bei der Verbindung wird die Cordfadeschicht 10 soin die Verbindung eingefugt, daß sie mit ihren Rändern an den Gummischichten 7 anstölSt.
  • Die Cordfäden verlaufen in Längsrichtung des Bandes, so daß sie die auftretenden Zugkräfte aufnehmen können Die Oordfädenschicht 10 ist beidseitig mit einer Gummischicht für die Verklebung oder einer Kau-l;schukmi schllngsschicht fiir die Heißvulkanisation beschichtet, Zur Verklebung wird die Cordfadenschicht bzw. ihre umgebende Gumini- oder Kautschukmischungsschicht mit einem Haftmittel versehen und die Vert bindung zusamnengepreßtO Falls zwischen den Enden der Förderbänder Zonen 11 und 12 offen bleiben, so können diese ebenfalls durch geeignete Mischungen verschlossen werden.
  • Die Länge der Cordfadenschicht kann zwischen 100 und 40 cm betragen. Dabei greifen jeweils etwa 25 % der Gesamtlänge in die gegenüber liegenden Freiräume der beiden Fördergurte ein Die zur Anwendung kommenden Cordfäden besitzen folgende technische Daten: dtex wo 670 x 3 Dicke 0,9 mm je 10 cm 71 Cordfäden Festigkeit dN/cm 510 Bruchdehnung 5 so Gewicht 420 g/m2 Leerseite

Claims (3)

  1. Verbindung von Fördergurtenden Ansprüche Verbindung von aneinander stoßenden Enden von Fördergurten aus Gummi oder gummiähnlichem Kunststoff mit zwei durch eine Gummischicht getrennte Gewebeeinlagen und wobei die Fördergurtenden abgestuft und angepaßt ineinander liegen, die mittlere Gummiscliicht in beide Gurtenden hinein entfernt ist und in diesem Freiraum eine verbindende gummierte Gewebeeinlage eingelegt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Gewebeeinlage aus einer in Dandrichtung verlaufenden Schicht (10) aus Cordfäden aus aromatischen Polyamid besteht und die Cordfäden einen Durchmesser von ca. 1 mm und eine Bruchdehnung von maximal cao 5 so aufweisen.
  2. 2.) Verbindung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Cordfäden einen Durchmesser von 1 mm haben und 5 - 10 Fäden auf 1 cm Cordschichtbreite kommen.
  3. 3.) Verbindung nach den Ansprüchen 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Cordfäden aus 3 Fäden gezwirnt sind und die Fasern ein dtex von ca. 1.700 besitzen.
