Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Oberzugsmaterial für Damenbinden oder Wegwerfwindeln und ähnliche
Erzeugnisse.
Aus der DE-AS 23 20 172 sind bereits Vlies-Materialien,
die auch als Überzug für Damenbinden dienen können, mit einem Flächengewicht von 15 bis 30 g/qm
bekannt, deren Anteil an hydrophilen Fasern 60 bis 90 Gew.-% und an hydrophoben Fasern 40 bis 10 Gew.-%
beträgt.
Von einem derartigen Vlies-Material wird gefordert, daß es einerseits Körperausscheidungen rasch absorbiert,
und daß sich andererseits einmal absorbierte Körperflüssigkeiten nur schwer auspressen lassen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß das Faserdeckvlies 10 bis 90 Gew.-% an
hydrophilen Fasern einer Dicke von 1,5 bis 3 Denier und 90 bis 10 Gew.-% hydrophile Fasern einer Dicke von 4
bis 7 Denier aufweist
Zur Herstellung nicht gewebur Tuche, die als
Oberflächenschicht für absorbierende Erzeugnisse verwendet werden, benutzt man in der Hauptsache Fasern
einer Dicke von 1,5 bis 3 Denier. Es war nicht zu erwarten, daß ausgezeichnete absorbierende Erzeugnisse,
wie sie gemäß der Erfindung herstellbar sind, durch Verwendung dicker Fasern einer Dicke von mehr
als 4 Denier als Teil der Fasern des nicht gewebten Tuchs erhalten werden können.
Als hydrophile Fasern, die gemäß der Erfindung verwendbar sind, seien Cellulosefasern wie Baumwolle
oder Viscosekunstfasern oder Vinylonfasern erwähni. Als hydrophobe Fasern seien Polyesterfasern, Polyolefinfasern
und konjugierte Polyolefinfasern genannt.
Obwohl lediglich eine Art hydrophober Fasern verwendet werden kann, ist es vorzuziehen, eine
geeignete Mischung von zwei oder mehr verschiedenen hydrophoben Fasern anzuwenden, insbesondere in dem
Fall, daß das nicht gewebte Tuch beispielsweise durch
ein Heißschmelzklebverfahren hergestellt wird.
Das als Oberflächenschicht des absorbierenden Erzeugnisses verwendete nicht gewebte Tuch besitzt
ein Gewicht von 15 bis 30 g/qm. Wenn die verhältnismäßig dünnen hydrophilen Fasern in einer Menge
über 90 Gewichtsprozent, berechnet auf das Gesamtgewicht der hydrophilen Fasern, vorhanden
sind, wird die Dicke der nicht gewebten Tuchsc-hicht zu
ίο stark. Wenn andererseits die Menge der verhältnismäßig
dicken hydrophilen Fasern mehr als 90 Gewichtsprozent, berechnet auf das Gesamtgewicht der
hydrophilen Fasern, beträgt, ist die Dicke der nicht gewebten Tuchschicht zu gering.
Die Zeichnungen veranschaulichen die Ausführungsform der Erfindung.
Fig. 1 ist ein Querschnitt durch eine Menstruaüonsbinde
nach Beispiel 1;
Fig.2 ist ein Querschnitt durch eine disponible Windel, wie sie in Beispiel 2 beschrieben wird.
Die folgenden Beispiele dienen zur Erläuterung der Erfindung.
Menstruationsbinden einer Größe von 7 χ 19 cm werden hergestellt, die aus einem nicht gewebten Tuch 1
einer Schicht 2 aus Rayonstapelfasern in einer Menge von 0,4 g, einem absorbierenden Gewebe 3 in einer
Menge von 0,6 g, einer flockigen Zellstoffschicht 4 in einer Menge von 4,0 g und einem wasserabweisenden
Gewebe 5 in einer Menge von 0,6 g bestehen, wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich. Unter Verwendung verschiedener
nicht gewebter Tuche, wie sie in Tabelle 1 angegeben sind, wurde die Absorptionsgeschwindigkeit und die
Menge der ausgepreßten absorbierten Körperflüssigkeiten gemessen. Die Ergebnisse sind aus Tabelle 1
ersichtlich.
Die Absorptionsrate und die ausgepreßte Flüssigkeit, die im folgenden als Rückfeuchtutf bezeichnet wird,
wurden nach folgenden Verfahren gemessen:
Absorptionsgeschwindigkeit: Ein fibrinogenfreies Pferdebiut wurde tropfenweise auf die Oberseite einer
geneigten Bindeprobe aufgetropft, wobei das Fließen des Blutes beobachtet wurde. Die Länge des Fließweges
•ti auf der Binde, bevor das Pferdebiut völlig darin
absorbiert war, wurde bestimmt. Je kürzer diese Länge ist, um so höher ist die Absorptionsgeschwindigkeit.
Rückfeuchtung: Eine gegebene Menge eines fibrinogenfreien
Pferdeblutes ließ man von der Probebinde
5ü absorbieren. Nach entsprechender Zeitdauer wurde die Probebinde unter Druck gesetzt und die Menge des
ausgepreßten Blutes gemessen.

Wcgwerfwindein einer Größe von 40 χ 25 cm, die aus
einem nicht gewebten Tuch 6, einem Absorptionsgewebe 7 (1 g χ 2), Zellstoff-Flocken 8 (25 g) und einer
Polyälhylenschicht 9 (5.5 g) bestanden, wurden wie in F i g. 2 gezeigt, hergestellt. Unter Verwendung verschiedener
nicht gewebter Tuche, wie dies in Tabelle 2 angegeben ist. wurde die Absorptionsgeschwindigkeit
und die Rückfeuchtung geprüft. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse
sind aus Tabelle 2 ersichtlich. Die Meßverfahren
as waren die gleichen wie bei Beispiel 1 mit dem
Unterschied, daß Urin an Stelle von fibrinogenfreiem Pferdeblut nach Beispiel 1 verwendet wurde und daß die
Menge des nicht absorbierten Urins, der ohne absorbiert zu werden, von der Probewindel ablief, zur
so Bestimmung der Absorptionsgeschwindigkeit gemessen wurde.

Im Handel erhältliche Wegwerfwindel D, E und F
wurden mit einem Erzeugnis der vorliegenden Erfindung hinsichtlich der Absorptionsgeschwindigkeit und
der Rückfeuchtung in der gleichen Weise wie in Beispiel

Claims (1)
- Patentanspruch:Faser-Deckvlies für Damenbinden, Windeln und dergleichen mit einem Flächengawicht von 15 bis 30 g/m2, einem Anteil an hydrophilen Fasern von 60 bis 90 Gew.-% und einem Anteil an hydrophoben Fasern von 40 bis 10 Gew.-%, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß 10 bis 90 Gew.-% der hydrophilen Fasern eine Dicke von 1,5 bis 3 Denier und 90 bis 10 Gew.-% der hydrophilen Fasern eine Dicke von 4 bis 7 Denier aufweisen.
