- Patentanspruch:Verfahren zum Trocknen wasserfeuchten Methylchlorids, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:Destillation des wasserfeuchten Methylchlorids in Gegenwart von mindestens 10 Mol-% Chlorwasserstoff, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht an Chlorwasserstoff, Wasser und Methylchlorid,überatmosphärischer Druck,
Rückflußverhältnis 13 bis elw? 4,
Temperatur 1000C bis zum Siedepunkt des Azeotrops unter dem genannten Druck der Destillation.Anfall eines Destillationssumpfes von nicht mehr als 36%iger wäßriger Chlorwasserstoffsäure undAnfall eines Destillats aus Methylchlorid und Chlorwasserstoff, das weniger als 400 Mol-Teile Wasser, je Million Gewichts-Teile Methylchlorid, enthält.b)
