Description
Am Einlaßabschnitt 33 befindet sich die Schaumerzeugungskammer 53, die ein kegelförmiges Wandelement 50 aufweist, das einen im wesentlichen eiförmigen Verteilungskegel 51 an drei Füßen 51a trägt
Es wird nun auf die F i g. 1 und 5 Bezug genommen.
Wie am besten aus F i g. 1 zu ersehen ist, ist die Schaumerzeugungseinheit zentriert bezüglich dem Oxygenator und von dessen inneren Oberflächen weggehalten durch das zylindrische Segment 26a der Kappe 25, welches in eine zylindrisene Ausnehmung 266 der oberen Wandung der Oxygenierkammer 10 paßt Diese Gestalt vergrößert die Stabilität der Schaumerzeugungseinheit im Vergleich zu den vorherigen Anordnungen, bei denen die Schaumerzeugungseinheit an ihrem unteren Ende freitragend angeordnet ist, und reduziert beträchtlich die Gefahr, daß die Schaumerzeugungseinheit aufgrund von Erschütterungen bei der Handhabung oder Schwimmen während des Betriebs leck wird.
Der Mischdurchiaß 114 ist in ähnlicher Weise mit oberen und unteren gewellten Wandungen 125 bzw. 126 versehen, die sich vorzugsweise über die gesamte Länge der Mischkammer 114 erstrecken. Die gewellten Wandungen 125 und 126 umfassen in ähnlicher Weise eint Reihe von bogenförmigen (Deflektor-)Umlenkabschnitten zur Erzeugung eines Sekundärflusses bzw. Vorsprünge 128, die so angeordnet sind, daß sie einen serpentinenförmigen Durchlaß bilden. Der serpentinenförmige Durchlaß funktioniert in ähnlicher Weise so, daß eine Sekundärströmung von Blutschaum erzeugt wird, während dieser durchläuft. Der Durchflußquerschnitt des Mischdurchlasses ändert sich in ähnlicher Weise über seine Länge zur Regelung der Größe der Blutschaumbläschen. Die Deflektor-Vorsprünge 128 sind so versetzt, daß der Abstand 129 zwischen gegenüberüegenden Vorsprüngen geringer ist als der Abstand 131 zwischen aufeinanderfolgenden gegenüberliegenden Vorsprängen. Der Durchilußquersehniit nimmt daher nach und nach zu bzw. ab über die gesamte Länge des Durchlasses 114. Diese Änderung des Durchflußquer-Schnitts verbessert das Oxygeniervermögen der Oxygenierungsvorrichtung.
