Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schallschutz-Wandelement aus auf 3 bis 30 mm zerkleinertem Gummi- und Cordgewebematerial gebrauchter Autoreifen, das durch geeignete Bindemittel zu einer Matte verklebt ist
Um das Altmaterial gebrauchter Autoreifen, deren Verarbeitung bei der Abfallbeseitigung große Probleme aufwirft, einer nützlichen Wiederverwendung zuzuführen, ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, die Reifen zu zerkleinern und das gewonnene Gummi- und Cordgewebematerial mit einem geeigneten Bindemittel zu einer Schall- und Wärmedämmschicht zu verarbeiten, die eine große Elastizität, Festigkeit und Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Zerfall aufweist Die aus diesem Material hergestellte Isolierschicht kann für Wand- und Deckenverkleidungen oder als Unterlage für schwimmende Estriche verwendet werden, da mit der Elastizität der verwendeten Gummi- und Cordbestandteile eine gute Trittschalldämmung und mit den eingeschlossenen Lufthohlräumen eine ebenso gute Wärmedämmung erzielt wird. Eine solche Schall- und Wärmedämmschicht ist jedoch nicht als Schallabsorptionselement geeignet. Die Elastizität des verwendeten Materials ist für die Minderung der Lautstärke von Luftschall nur von geringer Bedeutung, weil die auf ein elastisches Material auftreffenden Schallwellen zum großen Teil wieder reflektiert werden.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Schallschutz-Wandelement aus zerkleinerten Gummi- und Cordgewebematerial gebrauchter Autoreifen zu schaffen, das eine gute Absorptionsfähigkeit für auftreffenden Luftschall aufweist.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruchs gelöst. Dabei geht die Erfindung von einem älteren, jedoch nicht zum Stande der Technik gehörenden Vorschlag für ein tafelförmiges Schallschluckelement aus, bei dem in einem Rahmen zwischen zwei parallelen Wandungsflächen, von denen eine perforiert ausgebildet ist, eine schallabsorbierende Füllung aus zerkleinertem Gummi von Altgummireifen vorgesehen ist, wobei das zerkleinerte Gummi entweder
ίο zu einer zusammenhängenden Matte verklebt oder als lose Füllung mit einer steppdeckenartigen Ummantelung versehen ist Während die Matte dieses Schallschluckelements aus Gummischnitzeln bzw. Gummigranulat zusammengesetzt ist, besteht die Matte des
is erfindungsgemäßen Schallschutz-Wandelements aus faserförmig zerkleinertem Material mit einem hohen Cordgewebeanteil. Da aber der Cordgewebea;«<^il des verarbeiteten Materials plastisch und damit bleibend verformbar ist, können bei der Herstellung der Matte durch einen beliebigen Verpreßdruck beliebige Verhältnisse bezüglich spezifischem Gewicht bzw. Materialvolumenanteil erzielt werden, die den Schallabsorptionsgrad beeinflussen.
Durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale der erfindungsgemäßen Lösung sind die akustischen Eigenschaften eines schallabsorbierenden Wandelements aus zerkleinertem Gummi- und Cordgewebematerial definiert Die Struktur der Matte ist so ausgebildet, daß die kinetische Energie der auftreffenden Schallwellen beim Eintritt in die offenen, ungleichmäßig groß ausgebildeten Lufthohlräume durch die dabei entstehende Reibung in Wärme umgewandelt wird. Dabei wird Ober einen weiten Frequenzbereich eine gute Schallabsorption erzielt Die schallabsorbierende Wirkung der Matte
JS wird dadurch noch erhöht, daß sie ohne perforierte Außenverkleidung auskommt, an der die auf die Oberfläche auftreffenden Schallwellen wieder reflektiert werden, und somit die gesamte Räche der Matte für die Schallabsorption genutzt wird.
Aufgrund der Eigenfestigkeit und Witterungsbeständigkeit ist das erfindungsgemäß ausgebildete Schallschutz-Wandelement insbesondere für den Einbau in freistehende Schallschutzwände an verkehrsreichen Autostraßen geeignet Dazu werden die Matten in hohlkastenförmig ausgebildete Tragrahmen im Abstand zur rückwärtigen Abschlußwand eingesetzt Auf diese Weise werden die beim Durchgang durch die Matte nicht absorbierten Schallwellen an der Abschiußwand wieder reflektiert, so daß dieser Restschali noch einmal von hinten auf die Matte auftrifft.

Claims (1)

  1. Patentanspruch:
    Schallschutz-Wandelement aus auf 3 bis 30 mm zerkleinertem Gummi- und Cordgewebematerial gebrauchter Autoreifen, das durch geeignete Bindemittel zu einer Matte verklebt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das verarbeitete Material faserförmig zerkleinert ist und einen Volumenanteil von höchstens 60% aufweist, daß offene, ungleichmäßig große Lufthohlräume in der Matte vorhanden sind, und daß diese ein spezifisches Gewicht von höchstens 0,6 g/cm3 besitzt.
