Beschreibung zu der Patentanmeldung

11ITicht entzündbare Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten"
Die Erfindung betrifft nicht entzündbare Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten,
die im wesentlichen aus Wasser, G-lykolen
und Polyoxyalkylenglykolen bestehen und verbesserte
Schmiereigenschaften besitzen.
Es ist bereits bekannt, für feuergefährdete Verwendungszwecke nicht entzündbare Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten
zu verwenden, die aus Wasser, Glykole^ und PoIyoxyalkylenglykolen
hergestellt werden und diese ver-
schiedenen Komponenten in der angestrebten Viskosität

entsprechenden Mengenverhältnissen enthalten.
Es ist weiterhin "bekannt, diesen Gemischen aus Wasser,
Glykolen und Polyoxyalkylenglykolen kleine Mengen Schutzmittel zuzusetzen, damit die Hydraulikmittel die gewünschten
nicht korrodierenden und nicht oxidierenden Eigenschaften besitzen, beispielsweise bestimmte Salze schwacher Säuren
wie Borate, Benzoate oder Nitrite und Amine oder Alkanolamine
wie Dibutylamin, Morpholin oder Triäthanolamin.
Zwar lassen sich derartige Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten zufriedenstellend
in Hydrauliksystemen für die Druckübertragung verwenden, beispielsweise für beweglichen Grubenausbau oder
für Walzwerke; ihre Verwendung auf dem Gebiet der Kraftübertragung ist jedoch mit einigen Nachteilen verbunden, die insbesondere,
auf die sehr mäßigen Schmiereigenschaften dieser Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten zurückzuführen sind.
Zur Verbesserung der Schmiereigenschaften von Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten
wurde bereits versucht, diesen geringe Mengen von Fettsäuren enthalten 14 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen und gegebenenfalls
Kohlenstoffdoppelbindungen und/oder OH-Gruppen zuzusetzen. Diese Zusätze lösen sich aber nicht ausreichend
in den Gemischen aus Wasser, Glykolen und Polyoxyalkylenglykolen, um diesen in wirksamer Menge zugesetzt werden zu
können. .
Es wurde auch schon versucht, den Gemischen aus Wasser, Glykolen und Polyoxyalkylenglykolen geringe Mengen von Salzen
aus gesättigten geradkettigen aliphatischen Säuren mit 6 bis
12 Kohlenstoffatomen und Stickstoffbasen und als netzmittel
Additionsprodukte aus 6 bis 20 Mol Alkylenoxiden .wie Äthylenoxid und Fettalkoholen enthalten 6-18Kohlenstoffatomen zuzusetzen.

zusammengesetzte Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten besitzen merklich
verbesserte Sclimiereigenschaften.
Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß die Schmiereigenschaften
von Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten auf der Basis von Wasser, G-lykolen
und Polyoxyalkylenglykolen noch weiter verbessert werden
können, wenn man diesen Flüssigkeiten in geringer Menge einerseits bestimmte Phosphorsäureester und andererseits organische Stickstoffbasen zusetzt. Gegenstand der Erfindung sind daher Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten, die im wesentlichen bestehen aus: 40-80 Gew.-# Wasser,
können, wenn man diesen Flüssigkeiten in geringer Menge einerseits bestimmte Phosphorsäureester und andererseits organische Stickstoffbasen zusetzt. Gegenstand der Erfindung sind daher Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten, die im wesentlichen bestehen aus: 40-80 Gew.-# Wasser,
8-30 Gew.-$> Monoäthylenglykol und/oder Monopropylenglykol,
8-30 Gew.-is wasserlösliche Polyoxyalkylenglykole mit einem
Molekulargewicht über 5000,
1-5 Gew.-#, vorzugsweise 2-4 Gew.-$ Phosphorsäureester von
1-5 Gew.-#, vorzugsweise 2-4 Gew.-$ Phosphorsäureester von
Monohydroxy-polyäthern und
0,3-3 Gew.-?S organische Stickstoff basen.

Die Phosphorsäureester der Monohydroxypolyäther werden erhalten, indem zunächst ein oder mehre Monohydroxyverbindungen
enthaltend 8 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatome mit Alkylenoxiden in
solcher Menge kondensiert werden, daß die mittlere Anzahl
gebundener Alkylenoxideinheiten gleich oder grpßer ist einem Drittel der Anzahl Kohlenstoffatome der Monohydroxyverbindungen, worauf diese Monohydroxypolyäther dann mit Verbindungen des fünfwertigen0Phosphors in solcher Menge verestert werden, daß das Verhältnis Phosphoratome in den Verbindungen des fünfwertigen Phosphors zu Molekülen der Monohydroxy-polyäther 0t4 bis 1 beträgt.

Die erfindungsgemäßen Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten können
weiterhin geringe Mengen anderer gebräuchlicher Zusätze enthalten, beispielsweise Antikorrosionsmittel, Antioxydationsmittel und/oder Antischaummittel. Der Anteil dieser Zusätze

in den Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach, der Erfindung macht
üblicherweise insgesamt weniger als 4 Gew.-^ aus.
Die wasserlöslichen Polyoxyalkylenglykole werden vorzugsweise
unter den Poly-(oxyäthylen-oxypropylen)-glykolen
mit Molekulargewicht 6 000 bis 10 000 ausgewählt, wobei
das Verhältnis der Anzahl der Oxyäthylengruppen zu GesamtzaHl
der Oxyalkylengruppen in den Polyoxyalkylenglykolen 0,6 bis 0,9 ausmacht.
Die Phosphorsäureester können durch die allgemeine Formel

widergegeben werden. In dieser Formel bedeutet (X)n eine
Polyätherkette bestehend aus n· 3-ruppen abgeleitet von einen oder mehreren Alkylenoxiden, die gegebenenfalls im Gemisch
miteinander oder nacheinander kondensiert werden; das Alkylenoxid ist vorzugsweise Äthylenoxid;
ist
Y/eine aliphatische,alicyclische oder aliphatisch-aromatische Gruppe mit m Kohlenstoffatomen, wobei m eine Zahl von 8 bis 20, vorzugsweise von 15 bis 18 bedeutet; der Subsituent Y leitet sich ab von Monohydroxyverbindung wie gesättigten oder ungesättigten aliphatischen Alkoholen, verzweigten Alkoholen, beispielsweise Oxo-Alkohole oder auch von Alkylphenolen;
Y/eine aliphatische,alicyclische oder aliphatisch-aromatische Gruppe mit m Kohlenstoffatomen, wobei m eine Zahl von 8 bis 20, vorzugsweise von 15 bis 18 bedeutet; der Subsituent Y leitet sich ab von Monohydroxyverbindung wie gesättigten oder ungesättigten aliphatischen Alkoholen, verzweigten Alkoholen, beispielsweise Oxo-Alkohole oder auch von Alkylphenolen;
Z steht für Wasserstoff oder eine Gruppe -(X)-Y und η ist eine ganze oder gebrochene Zahl gleich oder größer

Diese Ph.osph.orsäureester lassen sich bequem herstellen,
indem zunächst an Monohydroxyverbindungen ein oder mehrere Alkylenoxide gegebenenfalls im Gemisch miteinander oder
nacheinander (blockweise) addiert werden. Die dabei erhaltenen Monohydroxy-polyäther werden dann mit Phosphorsäureanhydrid
P2 0C verestert, und zwar in einer Menge von
0,2 bis 0,5 Mol P3O5 je Mol Monohydroxy-polyäther.
Als organische Stickstoffbasen werden vorzugsweise
aliphatisch^ Amine mit 3 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen im Molekül,
Alkanolamine oder cyclische Amine wie Morpholin oder N-Alkylmorpholine gewählt. Diese organischen Stickstoffbasen
werden den Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach der Erfindung in Mengen zugesetzt, daß der pH-Wert dieser Flüssigkeiten
vorzugsweise 7 bis 9 beträgt.
Die nicht entzündbaren bzw. nicht brennbaren Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach der Erfindung besitzen gute
Schmiereigenschaften. Sie werden mit Yorteil auf verschiedenen Yerwendungsgebieten eingesetzt, beispielsweise für hydraulische
Antriebe von Robotern,von gepanzerten Förderern oder Schremmaschinen, in den Formpressen für die Druckverformung
von Metall sowie für alle Arten von hydraulischen Steuerungen, beispielsweise bei Schiffen, insbesondere Unterseeboten und
Erdöl-oder Erdgastankern.
Zunächst wurde ein Hydraulik-G-rundgemisch mit einer
Viskosität von etwa 4° Engler bei 5O0C folgender Zusammensetzung
hergestellt: „

Zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Hydraulik-Flüssigkeit
wurden diesem Grundgemisch 30 Gew.-Teile Phosphorsäureester zugesetzt, der durch Umsetzen von 142 g (1 Mol) P2 0K
mit 1 260 g Additionsprodukt aus 750 g Äthylenoxid und 510 g Fettalkohole bestehend im wesentlichen aus Oleylalkohol
und Cetylalkohol erhalten worden war. Außerdem wurden noch 10 Gew.-Teile n-Dibutylamin und 5 Gew.-Teile Siliconöl
"SAG 470 " von UlTIOlT CARBIDE als Antischaummittel zugegeben.
Der pH-Wert dieser Hydraulik-Flüssigkeit betrug 8. Ihre Schmiereigenschaften waren wesentlich besser als diejenigen
des Hydraulik-Grundgemisches, wie aus der Gegenüberstellung der folgenden Tabelle hervorgeht, in der folgende Meßdaten
zusammengefaßt sind: Belastung beim Yerschweißen, mittlere
Belastung nach Hertz, mittlere Belastung vor dem Fressen bzw. Heißlaufen, Belastung beim Fressen, Reibungskoeffizient
sowie Durchmesser der Eindrucksfläche nach einer Belastung von 20 kg und von 40 kg nach jeweils 100 Minuten. Diese
Daten wurden mit dem SETA-SHELL-4-Kugelapparat nach der
Methode »FEDERAL TEST METHOD STANDARD 6503" gemessen. Die
Ergebnisse wurden entsprechend der Norm der französischen Armee STM 7320 widergegeben.

Dem obigen Hydraulik-Grundgemisch wurden 20 Gew«-Teile
Phosphorsäureester gemäß Beispiel 1, 5 Gew.-Seile Triäthanolamin
und als Antischaummittel 8 Gew.-Teile Siliconemulsion nS 1" von S.I.S.S. zugesetzt. Diese Hydraulik-Flüssigkeit
besaß ebenfalls sehr viel bessere Schmiereigenschaften als das Grundgetnisch, wie aus der folgenden Tabelle hervorgeht.

Claims (8)
1. Nicht entzündbare Hydraulik-iTüssigkelten auf der
Basis von Wasser, Glykolen, Polyoxyalkylengiykolen mit Molgewicht J>· 5 000 und organischen StickstoffVerbindungen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß sie aus 40 Ms 80 Gew.-io Wasser, 8 bis 50 Gew.-^ Monoäthylenglykol und/oder
Monopropylenglykol, 8 bis 30 Gew.-$ wasserlöslichen Polyoxyalkylengiykolen
mit einem Molekulargewicht über 5 000, 0,3 bis 3 Gew.~$ organische Stickstoffbasen und aus 1 bis
5 Gew.-io Phosphorsäureester von Monohydroxy-polyätheralkoholen,
erhalten durch Addieren von Alkylenoxiden in solcher Menge an eine Monohydroxyverbindung mit 8 bis EO Kohlenstoffatomen,
daß die mittlere Anzahl fixierter Alkylenoxideinheiten gleich
oder größer ist einem Drittel der Anzahl Kohlenstoffatome
in den Monohydroxyverbindungen und anschließende Veresterung der Monohydroxy-polyäther mit Verbindungen des fünfwertigen
Phosphors in einem Verhältnis von Anzahl der Phosphoratome in den Verbindungen des fünfwertigen Phosphors zu Anzahl
der Moleküle Monohydroxy-polyäther von 0,4 bis 1, bestehen.
2. Hydraulikflüssigkeiten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch g e kennzeichnet,
daß sie Phosphorsäureester von Monohydroxy-polyäthern der allgemeinen !Formel

worin (X)_ eine Polyätherkette "bestehend aus von einem oder
mehreren, im Gemisch miteinander oder nacheinander addierten Alkylenoxiden abgeleiteten Gruppen "bedeutet,

Gruppe mit m Kohlenstoffatomen darstellt, wobei m eine Zahl von 8 bis 20 ist,

3. Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie Phosphorsäureester der angegebenen
Formel enthalten, worin X eine Oxyäthylengruppe und Y ein Substituent mit 15 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen ist,
Z Wasserstoff oder die Gruppe (X)n-Y bedeutet und η eine
ganze oder gebrochene Zahl von 7 bis 9 ist.
4. Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach Anspruch 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß der Gewichtsanteil Phosphorsäureester
2 bis 4 $> ausmacht.
5. Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach Anspruch 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß sie als Polyoxyalkylenglykole
Poly(oxyäthylen-oxypropylen)glykole mit einem Molekulargewicht
von 6 000 bis 10 000 enthalten, wobei das Verhältnis der Oxyäthylengruppen zur Gesamtzahl der in den PoIyoxyalkylenglykolen
enthaltenen Oxyalkylengruppen 0s6 bis
0,9 beträgt.
6. ■ Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß sie als organische Stickstoffbase
aliphatische Amine mit 3 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen im Molekül, Alkanolamine oder cyclische Amine wie Morpholin
oder N-Alkylmorpholine enthalten· 3

7. Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach Anspruch 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß der Zusatz organischer
Stickstoffbasen einem pH-Wert der Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten von 7 bis 9 entspricht.
8. Hydraulik-Flüssigkeiten nach Anspruch 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß sie zusätzlich Hilfsstoffe
wie Korrosionsschutzmittel, Antioxidationsmittel und/oder Antischaummittel enthalten.
