Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multilayer decoupling, Sealing and drainage system, especially for laying ceramic Toppings in Thin-bed method, according to the generic term of claim 1.
Ceramic coverings and especially tiles are common today in the so-called thin bed process laid, in which the ceramic coverings in a thin layer of adhesive from a tile mortar be relocated. This is a satisfactory process indoors shows however when processing ceramic coverings outdoors problems in that the moisture load and the temperature load such coverings it is not uncommon for the tiles or theirs to be gradually destroyed Laying surfaces leads, whereby short shelf life of such coverings is not are to be avoided and for the renovation can incur high costs.
The main issue in processing ceramic coverings in the outdoor area in the unavoidable moisture exposure of the ceramic coverings, which is caused by rainwater or even moisture due to different ambient temperatures. such Moisture penetrates through the ceramic coverings and especially through the Insert into the substructure of the ceramic coverings and can jam there. By processing in the thin bed process it is practically unavoidable that there is below the tiles Form cavities, with the penetrating water as described above filled in time become a permanent one Moisture pollution on the one hand of the ceramic covering and on the other lead others underground. Due to the unavoidable cavities, especially in the cold season in the cavities of the thin-bed mortar Water expand and lead to a detachment of the ceramic coverings. Can also due to solar radiation on the ceramic tiles laid outside coverings that in the cavities stagnant water generate high water vapor pressures, such as with glazed tiles lead to flaking of the tiles. something similar happens at frost temperatures because the pores within the Tiles due to constant moisture exposure fill with water and expand in frost. This causes such flaking on the ceramic surface. Furthermore, the backwater can limes from the grout and remove the thin bed mortar, the to efflorescence out of joint can. Can also be in the cavities below the ceramic coverings the usual as plastic mortar processed tile adhesive loosened and lose their firmness. Is also through that very different expansion coefficients of the subsurface, Thin bed mortar and ceramic covering due to the very high outdoor appearance high temperature differences between high temperatures due to Sun exposure and lower temperatures in frost the crack behavior difficult to control the ceramic covering and the surface.
It has therefore been proposed many times such in the outdoor area laid ceramic coverings to be able to lay more durable that the inevitable water penetrating from the top of the ceramic publishing house is removed again from the substructure of the ceramic covering. Basic idea of all of these solutions is to target cavities in the underneath the ceramic covering To bring in the substructure, which, however, are not closed, but a laxation the ingress of moisture corresponding channels and on the downhill automatic bring about. This prevents the build-up of backwater and the inevitable cavities below the ceramic coverings targeted ventilation. The penetrating water can therefore only briefly within the ceramic Cover or remain in its subsurface and thus the above mentioned damage don't wreath first. Such substructures also serve as ceramic coverings also that a targeted decoupling between the ceramic covering and the substructure brought is, for example, due to the different temperature expansions or elasticities between the ceramic covering and the substrate, there are often stress cracks or Stress cracks can occur.

The object of the present invention is therefore to further develop a generic multilayer sealing and drainage system such that, in addition to an improvement in the drainage function, in particular also an improvement in the mechanical load-bearing capacity and the anchoring the tile layer is accessible.
The solution of the task according to the invention results from the characterizing features of claim 1 in Interaction with the characteristics of the generic term. More beneficial Embodiments of the invention result from the subclaims.
The invention describes a multilayer Sealing and drainage system, especially for laying ceramic coverings in the thin bed process, with a layer structure, listed from bottom to top, with one formed from a first lattice-like structural element Drainage layer with between lattice structures of the lattice-like Structural element formed drainage areas, a liquid-permeable non-woven layer, one formed from a second lattice-like structural element Anchor layer for one in the area of the top of the sealing and drainage system filler to be introduced, plastic during processing and then hardening and at least in sections on the anchoring layer fixed reinforcement layer. Such a layer structure allows a significant improvement in known sealing and drainage systems in that for each function such as anchoring and reinforcement, preventing the passage of grout in the drainage area, liquid passing through and decoupling to There are separate underground layers in their composition as well as the dimensioning to achieve an optimal result. in this connection is particularly due to the anchoring layer arranged on the top and the one above applied and thus attached reinforcement layer that a top applied grout yourself completely connects with the sealing and drainage system and thereby ensures that a appropriate resilience of the sealing and drainage system is achieved. The interposed fleece layer, which is designed to be permeable to liquids prevents the filling compound from penetrating such as a tile adhesive in the drainage area and ensures that the drainage channels to drain the through the fleece layer liquid in any case open stay. The lattice-like structural elements allow one particularly simple construction which essentially the thickness of the sealing and layers determining the anchoring layer and Drainage layer.
In an advantageous embodiment can the first lattice-like structural element and the second lattice-like Structural element have the same structure. This can the manufacture of the sealing and drainage system is particularly simple respectively.
It can also be provided that the lattice-like Structural element made of rod-shaped arranged lattice-like to each other and to each other at the crossing points of the lattice defined individual bars is formed. Such a thing lattice-like structural element can be just make it out of single-rod bars that can be prepared and you can therefore about inexpensive extruded single bars process that wound on drums and for making the lattice-like Structural elements are positioned relative to each other. So that is the manufacture of such a lattice-like structural element very much economical and easy. Different from known sealing and drainage systems don't have to elaborate tools are manufactured that are angled to each other or otherwise deformed areas create a drainage layer. In a further embodiment, it can be ensured that the individual bars of the lattice-like Structural element has a substantially rectangular cross-sectional shape exhibit. Especially if the individual bars have non-uniform dimensions have their edges, can simply change the thickness of the lattice-like structural elements and to different needs to adjust.
It is particularly advantageous if the crossing individual bars of the lattice-like structural element are arranged so that a first Layer of individually oriented individual bars below a second one Layer of this arranged at an angle to each other identically oriented single bars consists. It is therefore no longer necessary in the manufacture of the lattice-like structural element, the need the single bars as in the case of textile fabrics, what each other the production further simplified and on the other hand ensures that the like Layers of the lower and upper layers of the individual bars between corresponding free spaces form that for the drainage can be used.
It is also conceivable that the lattice-like structure from the individual bars has a diamond, rectangular or square shape. Through such Shaping is for that worried that at processing of the sealing and drainage system at the installation site drainage channels that form can always be arranged that the Removal of water entering the drainage layer approximately through the gradient is adequately guaranteed at the installation location.
A further simplification of the manufacture of the Drainage layer can be reach when the single bars of the two layers with each other in the crossing area under mechanical Pressure welded are. For example, by heating the plastic by the influence of temperature deformable individual rods ensured be that in Area of contact of the individual bars softening and welding to the one below lying single rod takes place and thus a mat-like composite of single bars results.
Furthermore, it is conceivable that the individual rods of the lattice-like structural element to edge regions tilted to one another at least at the crossing points, as a result of which undercut sections form on the individual bars. The plastic shaping of the individual rods in the area of the crossing points due to the influence of temperature means that the individual rods are deformed a little by the mechanical pressure and thereby change their orientation depending on the position of the other individual rod to be connected to the individual rod. This leads to the formation of undercuts, which are particularly advantageous for anchoring in the backfill. Due to its plasticity, the filling compound penetrates into these undercut areas during processing and, after hardening, can hold onto the anchoring layer much better through the undercuts of the individual bars.
In another embodiment, it is also conceivable that the Reinforcement layer welded on the anchoring layer or is also glued on. As a result, the reinforcement layer can be used well into the backfill embedded, on the other hand it is firmly attached to the anchoring layer, which also with the backfill filled out becomes. This results in a particularly good bond between the filling mass and the reinforcement layer or the anchoring layer. It is here conceivable that the Reinforcement layer is formed as a lattice-like fabric, preferably as a glass fiber fabric that is used for secure anchoring to the top of the sealing and drainage system to be filled serves.
An advantage for processing larger areas of the Sealing and drainage system is when the reinforcement layer to at least in individual edge areas of the sealing and drainage system other layers extends to a transition to other sections of the sealing and drainage system. This can a correspondingly overlapped one Connection to the edges such as individually processable webs can be achieved, which none Loss of strength at the transition areas between adjacent tracks.
It is also conceivable that the sealing and drainage system can be laid loosely on a surface. hereby will be a complete decoupling about an applied tile covering from the respective surface achieved, for example, with very different temperature expansion coefficients or working surfaces like wooden floors necessary is.
In another embodiment it is conceivable that the Sealing and drainage system firmly, preferably glued on can be laid on a surface. This will ensure secure attachment of the sealing and drainage system if this is achieved by the Characteristics of the surface is permissible and reasonable.
In another embodiment, it is also conceivable that underside the lower drainage layer a sealing layer on the drainage layer is arranged, which is formed impermeable to moisture. hereby can be achieved at the same time with the laying of the sealing and drainage system an additional or simple sealing of the substrate can be achieved otherwise only by additional separately applied sealing layers can be achieved. So that can by applying the sealing and drainage system according to the invention the substrate remains untreated even if it has special sealing properties required or not available on site.
In a further embodiment it is conceivable that the sealing layer with adjacent sealing layers of other sections of the sealing and drainage system is self-adhesive. This can also larger areas to be sealed substrates can be sealed safely and easily in one operation without that the dimensions about pre-assembled units of the sealing and Drainage system here restrictions would bring with it. A conceivable embodiment of such an adhesive sealing layer can be seen in if the self-adhesive sealing layer is formed from a bitumen cold self-adhesive sheet. Such bitumen cold self-adhesive sheets are commercially available and are therefore not to be discussed further here. It is also conceivable that the Sealing layer made of a polymer sealing layer, in particular a polyethylene sealing layer is formed. Such polymer sealing layers too are generally known in a comparable embodiment. Advantageous for the Sealing of larger areas is also it happens when the sealing layer is made of the polymer sealing layer become at least in individual edge areas of the sealing and Drainage system over the other layers extend beyond a moisture impermeable transition area to create other sections of the sealing and drainage system. This can also be a moisture-proof in the area of overlap Connection to Lanes laid next to each other can be reached.
Regarding the dimensions of the individual layers of the sealing and drainage system conceivable that the Thickness of the drainage layer between 2 and 6 millimeters, the thickness the anchoring layer between 2 and 6 millimeters and thus in the overall thickness of the sealing and drainage system is essentially between 4 and 12 millimeters. hereby carries that Sealing and drainage system is not essentially relative to one predetermined surface and can also with limited space can be used without problems.
It is advantageous for the drainage effect if the liquid-permeable nonwoven layer has a small flow resistance to the passage of liquid, but at the same time prevents the relatively viscous filling compound, which is plastically introduced into the anchoring layer, from penetrating into the drainage layer. As a result, good passage of the liquid through the nonwoven layer can be achieved without the risk that during processing of the filler compound it can penetrate into the drainage areas and block them.
It is essential for the usage properties of the sealing according to the invention and drainage system if the anchoring layer after insertion the backfill in essentially complete is filled with the backfill and the one in the cured filling mass embedded reinforcement layer a stiffening and reinforcement function for the Removal of mechanical loads introduced above fulfilled. In order to the load transfer is over much thicker layers than possible with known sealing and drainage systems, because additionally the entire layer thickness of the anchoring layer for mechanical Carries loads and is reinforced by the reinforcement layer at the same time.
A particularly preferred embodiment the decoupling according to the invention, The drawing shows the sealing and drainage system.
